The UAP Aklan Chapter conducted their 3rd General Membership Meeting at Basa Hotel Kalibo Aklan. Among those that were discussed are the Upcoming World Architecture Day Celebration on October 1, which will be celebrated by Tree Planting at Lambingan Beach with the cooperation of United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxilliary (UAPSA) as well as the United Architects of the Philippines Graduate Auxilliary (UAPGA). Next that was discussed is the participation of the Chapter for the Heritage Mapping that will be Conducted by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts organized by Kalibo LGU. The Design for the Mural Painting was also presented for the approval of the Archbishop of Kalibo. The creation of Boracay Chapter as well as drafting a resolution was also discussed. The meeting was adjourned at 9:00pm.

The official sticker of UAP Aklan Chapter as support for the campaign of the UAP National. The word “Architectural” was added as a collaboration on the campaign by Aklan Chapter at Kalibo Aklan regarding

the Architectural Permit.


Presentation of UAP Aklan Chapter Blazer for the approval of members

Electrical Engr. Gary Malapad encouraging UAP Aklan Architects to support their upcoming Product Presentation/Electrical Products Fair to be attended by different electrical suppliers.


Ar. Jan Lorenz Dionela presented the final design to be used for the Mural Painting Project by UAP Aklan Chapter.The design will be presented to the Archbishop of Kalibo for their approval.

Last September 12, The municipal Government of Kalibo conducted a follow up meeting to discuss the scheduled date of training for the volunteers of the Cultural Mapping Project. The meeting was also attended by members of Aklan Historical Society, DENR PENRO Aklan and LGU Kalibo. The date of the training will be on October 15-19, 2018.

A meaningful and lively product presentation was conducted by Robinson’s Builders showcasing different construction materials that they offer for Kalibo Area and other nearby municipalities. Robinson’s Builders has been a long time supporter of UAP Aklan.

Seminar topics were Construction Safety and Introduction to Hospitality Design. It was a halfday Seminar conducted by Ar. Enp. Carlo Fundador Marudo, uap and Ar. Armando Eugene De Guzman III, fuap.
