Mafia Gangs being formed all across Mexico
September 21, 1969President Nixon announced that “Operation Intercept” (oversea launching drug search) to arrest any drug going overseas from Mexico to the United States. Unfortunately, this search of drugs lasted for only 20 days.
April 29, 2006The Congress of Mexico decriminalized possession of marijuana thinking that by doing this, people will stop using drugs but he was mistaken.
2008The Mexican government finds countless numbers of gang members fighting and arguing with other gang members about drugs. The police has found 6,000 bodies all across Mexico. Many were been in gangs and mafias involved in drug dealing.
January 2011The Mexican government authorized a law to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of drugs.
