情态动词表猜测的用法 

情态动词 must ， can ， could ， should ， ought

to ， may ， might 等可以用在句中表示猜测。这时情态动词没有时态的区分，只有语气强弱之别。这几个情态动词都可以用于肯定句中， must 的把握性最大意为 “一定、肯定”； might 语气最弱；表示疑问时常用 can ， could ， might ；表示否定时用 can’t ， couldn’t ， may not ， might not 等，表示否定时 can’t 的语气最强。
