Looking to make a scarf, cowl, or wrap? This design looks like a regular

scarf, but with a button closure at the ends it can be worn so many ways.

Worked with two coordinating colors of variegated yarn in a ripple pattern,

you'll never get bored with this project. The name comes from a beach town

that my family and I visit, and the design is perfect for chilly morning walks

on the beach.

The "V" at the bottom of the top reminded me a princess dress,

(Princess-Priscilla....sounds similar) It can be made in any size, any

yarn weight. I used only two skeins of Red Heart Unforgettable yarn

for the sample. Every time you put a new color tank top underneath

you have a different look! You can even wear it as a vest over a shirt

for an office look. Endless possibilities!

Inspired by the style of a knitted "wingspan" shawl, this scarf is created

by working triangles one on top of the other. It is worked in short rows and

all in one piece. The "winged" edges and simple shells used in the pattern

give it a very romantic and feminine look. Finished scarf measures approx.

12" wide by 68" long.
