Be the most effective integrator of DOD capabilities for Law Enforcement Agencies in support of
homeland defense
Joint Task Force North supports Drug Law Enforcement Agencies in the conduct of Counter Drug/
Counter Narco-Terrorism operations in the USNORTHCOM area of responsibility to disrupt
transnational criminal organizations and deter their freedom of action in order to protect the homeland.

Purpose: Protect the Homeland
Key Tasks:
Ø Engage DLEA, US Interagency, and Partner NaIon stakeholders to strengthen relaIons through unity of effort to deter and disrupt TCOs
Ø Support interagency mission integraIon through visibility of all NORTHCOM CD/CNT operaIons -‐-‐ improving synchronizaIon and integraIon with DLEA
Ø Enhance DLEA capacity through intelligence and informaIon sharing, operaIons, training, and planning support
Ø Increase DLEA ability to reduce illicit traffic through the employment and integraIon of unique DOD capabiliIes into DLEA operaIons
Ø Gain and maintain Knowledge Superiority to learn and adapt faster than networked threats (TCOs)
End State: Enhance Drug Law Enforcement Agencies capabiliIes to more effecIvely disrupt and deter TCOs while military units gain valuable mission essenIal task training.
