INTRODUCTION

• The Health of our people in Ugunja Sub-County and by extension, the whole of Siaya County citizenry, is extremely poor as clearly indicated in the Ugunja Sub-County and Siaya County Strategic Plans (2013-2018).

• The above concern is captured in the Table 1 below.

SITUATION ANALYSIS 1This disturbing situation compelled the Sub-County Health Committee set up by the MP Hon. James Opiyo Wandayi, to conduct a situation analysis on the status of health services in the constituency.

The findings of this survey is the subject of our discussion this evening
