Marathi and Hindi Language. Database is containing total 58 speakers (48 native and 10 non-native speakers). The total volume of isolated word include 2,78,360 samples of native speakers and 9000 samples of non-native speakers for independent standard word.

The department of Computer Science and Information Technology was established

in the year 1989. At present department is running Three Post Graduation Programs as M.Sc. Computer Science, M. Sc. Information Technology, M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and One Post Post Graduation Programs M. Phil. Computer Science and Two Ph.D. programs in Computer Science and Engineering.The strength of the department is Highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Most of the faculty members are known for their valuable contribution in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology at National and International Level. The Major research domain of the department are Speech Processing, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing & Analysis ,Artificial Intelligence ,Computer Networking ,Human Computer Interfacing, Software Engineering ,Biometrics and Security, Data Mining and Warehousing, Knowledge Engineering ,Remote Sensing, GIS, S/W Engineering and Testing Natural Language Processing, Biomedical Imaging, Machine Intelligence, Computational Psycholinguistics.The department is having 64 Research Scholars availing various fellowships like Endress+Hauser, AICTE-GATE Stipend, University Scholar Fellowship, BANRF, RGNF, MANF, SAP-BSR, SRGC research fellows on

various research projects sanctioned by UGC, DST, AICTE and other funding agencies. Department is supported by University Grants Commission-Special Assistance Program, Department has already completed Ist Phase (2009-2014) and presently is in IInd Phase (2014-2019).Department is also supported under Department of Science and Technology-Fund for Improvement of S & T Infrastructure. Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi in 2012 has sanctioned the reputed Srinivasa Ramanujan Geospatial Chair to the department to promote Research and Development in the frontier research areas related to Geospatial Science and Capacity Building and Training.Total five Published Patents are on the account of department. Around 134 Scopus index paper are published and 563 + Papers are published in UGC Approved Journals and Conferences in last Five years. At Present, the department is collaborating with Five different Academic and Industrial Institutions under MOUs at National and International Level.

The department is currently mobilizing a research grant of Rs. 387.90 lakhs (Three

Crore Eighty Seven lakh Ninety thousand) through various Major and Major research projects funded by University, UGC, DST, AICTE and other government funding agencies.
