CONCLUSIONS

With a long heritage of UAS Operations, the UK military and the standards around it, provides a good template for creating training infrastructure.

With the extensive drawdown of staff from the military post SDSR, excellent staff are available to apply their experience to a new career in UAS

While in other areas of aviation, the military is adopting civil standards. For UAS, maybe the civil regulator should look to military processes for a mature and proven model.
