Welcome Horsemen To The 2021 Remington Park Racing Season

Data provided or compiled by Remington Park for condition books generally areaccurate, but occasionally errors and omissions occur as a result of incorrect

data received by others, mistakes in processing and other causes. RemingtonPark disclaims responsibility for the consequences, if any, of such errors, but

would appreciate their being called to their attention.

ATTENTION HORSEMENNo horse shall be allowed to enter an Oklahoma racetrack unless ithas had a Coggins test conducted within 12 months and with anegative result. The test record may be a copy of the originalCoggins test. Record of the negative test for a race horse enteringa race shall be the original VS Form 10-11 or an approved electronicversion attached to the registration papers of the horse andconducted within 12 months of the race in question. The trainer ofthe race horse is responsible for insuring that a negative Cogginstest result is in the racing secretary’s office as required by this rule.Failure to comply subjects the Licensee to disciplinary action.

Important updates that concern all Oklahoma horsemen transporting and racing horses at Oklahoma racetracks.

EHV-1 and Vesicular Stomatitis Policy for ALL Horses coming to Remington Park

ALL horses coming into the Remington Park stable area must have acurrent health certificate issued within 30 days prior to arrival at the trackwhich shows they’ve been vaccinated with an FDA approved modifiedlive or killed virus vaccine for EHV-1, not less than 14 days, and not morethan 90 days, prior to the date of entry into the stable gate.

The veterinarian issuing the health certificate must provide the date of theEHV-1 vaccination, brand, serial number, expiration date of vaccine, andtemperature of each horse. Current (within last 12 months) negativeEquine Infectious Anemia test information (date and accession number)must be listed for each horse on certificate. The health certificate mustcontain a statement by the issuing veterinarian that they have physicallyexamined each horse listed on this certificate within five (5) days ofshipment date, and the horses do not exhibit any clinical signs of EHV-1and/or Vesicular Stomatitis, and the veterinarian has verified with theowner/trainer that the horses have not been exposed to a suspectedEHV-1 or Vesicular Stomatitis positive horse or premise within the last 14days.

ATTENTION HORSEMENHORSEMEN’S REPRESENTATIVE

The Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma (TRAO) shallbe the horsemen’s representative for the 2021 Thoroughbred meeting.In accordance with the representation agreement with Remington Parkthe TRAO shall be entitled to deduct an amount equal to two percent(2%) from the gross purse of each ownership entity (maximum of$600).

Said funds provide participating TRAO members engaged in racingfinancial assistance with medical, eye care, dental bills and other formsof benevolence.

Each Thoroughbred starting during the 2021 Remington Park meet-ing will be assessed a starter fee of five dollars ($5.00) to help fund theThoroughbred Political Action Committee (T.P.A.C.).

Any horseman may express his right to be excluded from all TRAOdeductions and membership benefits by executing an exclusion form atthe Horsemen’s Bookkeepper’s office.

Step-By-Step Guide For HorsemenShipping Into Remington Park

All registration and other formalities on arrival can be simplified ifthe following information is transmitted to the Racing Secretaryand/or the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission prior to yourarrival. For up to date EHV1 Policy please call the office or goto the Horsemans section on the Remington Park website.

TO THE RACING SECRETARY:➢ Register in the Racing Secretary’s Office; the Jockey Club

Certificate of Foal Registration papers and an original or certfied lab copy of current negative Coggins results, which must show the correct and complete ownership. In Oklahoma a copy of a negative coggins will no longer suffice according tothe state. It is illegal to run a horse in Oklahoma with a copy. The OHRC enforces this law. Preference dates are given according to the day the Jockey Club Certificate ofFoal Registration is put on file.

TO THE STABLE OFFICE:➢ Arrival time.➢ Groom’s accommodation➢ Trainer’s local accommodations and telephone number.➢ Any special requirements, such as special bedding.➢ Lodge a full list of employees, including assistant trainers,

exercise riders, grooms, hotwalkers and other personnel at theStable Office.

TO THE OKLAHOMA HORSE RACING COMMISSION (OHRC):➢ Completed License Application forms. May be obtained in

advance from the OHRC.➢ Owners, trainers, jockeys and all employees complete License

Application procedures at the OHRC office.➢ Partnerships, lease forms, authorized agent forms, stable

name applications must be filed with the OHRC or Stewardsoffices at Remington Park.

➢ Submit copy of Worker’s Compensation policy to the OHRC.

ON ARRIVAL:➢ Colors and Silks should be registered with the Racing Office at

the time of entry, and delivered to the Racing Office or Jockeyroom at least one hour before the race.

Track RulesAND GENERAL INFORMATION

Trainers will register with the Racing Secretary all Jockey ClubCertificates of Foal Registration with the Racing Office.

Trainers or their authorized representative must register with TrackSecurity every person in his employ no later than 72 hours after thearrival of his horse(s), and shall be responsible for all his employeessecuring occupational licenses before they participate in any capacitywithin the enclosure. Licensees having unlicensed personnel in theiremploy are subject to disciplinary action.

A change of blinker equipment must be approved by the Starter andreported to the Racing Secretary at time or entry.

No alterations shall be made of any entry after closing, except tocorrect an error.

Owners and Trainers must have an apprentice jockey engagedbefore claiming the apprentice allowance and such allowance can onlybe waived by the Stewards.

The entry by any person, or the transfer of any horse, may berefused by the Racing Secretary without notice for reasons deemed tobe in the best interests of racing.

It is the responsibility of the trainers to report Geldings at time ofentry.

No Trainer will be allowed to re-enter any horse that is in the bodyof a race, (excluding stakes races) unless granted permission from theStewards.

Money for claiming purposes must be in the Horsemen’sBookkeeper’s office one hour before the post time for the race in whichthe horse to be claimed is participating.

Remington Park Eligibility RulesStalls will not be allocated nor entries taken for:1) Maiden six year olds and older.

Eligibility does not mean automatic approval for stabling.

325:60-1-8 Use of Equipment(a) No bridle shall weigh more than two pounds.(b) All riding crops are subject to inspection and approval by the stewards andthe clerk of scales. Riding crops shall have a shaft and a flap and will be allowedin flat racing including training, only as follows:

(1) Maximum weight of eight ounces;(2) Maximum length, including flap of 30 inches;(3) Minimum diameter of the shaft of three-eighths inch; and(4) Shaft contact area must be smooth, with no protrusions or raised

surface, and covered by shock absorbing material that gives a compression factor of a least one-millimeter throughout itscircumference.

(c) The flap is the only allowable attachment to the shaft and must meet thesespecifications;

(1) Length beyond the end of the shaft a maximum of one inch;(2) Width a minimum of 0.8 inch and maximum of 1.6 inches;(3) No reinforcements or additions beyond the end of the shaft;(4) No binding within seven inches of the end of the shaft; and(5) Shock absorbing characteristics similar to those in the contact area

of the shaft.(d) Blinkers are not to be placed on the horse until after the horse has been iden-tified by the Horse Identifier, except with permission of the Stewards.(e) Approval from the Stewards or their designee for any change or equipmentmust be obtained prior to entry.325:60‑1‑11. Safety Equipment Required(a) Helmets. Any person mounted on a horse or stable pony on associationgrounds shall wear a properly secured safety helmet at all times. Additionally, allmembers of the starting gate crew shall adhere to this regulation at all timeswhile performing their duties or handling a horse. For the purpose of this regula-tion, a member of the starting crew means any person licensed as an assistantstarter or any person who handles a horse in the starting gate. The helmet shallcomply with one of the following minimum safety standards or later revisions:

(1) American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM 1163);(2) European Standards (EN-1384 or PAS-015 or VG1);(3) Australian/New Zealand Standards (AS/NZ 3838; or ARB HS 2012); or(4) Snell Equestrian Standard 2001.

(b) Vests. Any person mounted on a horse or stable pony on the associationgrounds shall wear a properly-secured safety vest at all times. Additionally, allmembers of the starting gate crew shall also adhere to this regulation at all timeswhile performing their duties or handling a horse. For the purpose of this regula-tion, a member of the starting gate crew means any person licensed as an assis-tant starter or any person who handles a horse at the starting gate. The safetyvest shall comply with one of the following minimum standards or later revisions:

(1) British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA):2000 Level 1;(2) Euro Norm (EN) 13158:2000 Level 1;(3) American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2681-08 or

F1937;(4) Shoe and Allied Trade Research Association (SATRA) Jockey Vest

Document M6 Issue 3; (5) Australian Racing Board (ARB) Standard 1.1998. ; or(6) With the approval of the Executive Director, vests for Starting Gate

Crew may comply with the following: EN13158:2018 Standard ImpactTesting only Impact Test Level 1 or higher.

(c) A safety helmet or a safety vest shall not be altered in any manner nor shallthe product marking be removed or defaced.(d) All required safety equipment is subject to approval of the Stewards, SafetySteward, or Commission.

325:45-1-6.1. Listed Thresholds for Thoroughbreds(a) The thresholds listed in this section shall be the considered listed thresholdfor permitted substances or, if specified as such, naturally occurring substancesin Thoroughbreds.(b) Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories shall be considered prohibited substancesexcept for the chemicals listed below and their corresponding analogs andmetabolites in concentrations not exceeding the listed threshold:

(1) Diclofenac: 5 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (2) Firocoxib: 20 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (3) Flunixin: 20 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (4) Ketoprofen: 2 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum;or (5) Phenylbutazone: 2 ug/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum.

(c) Corticosteroids shall be considered prohibited substances except for thechemicals listed below and their corresponding analogs and metabolites in con-centrations not exceeding the listed threshold:

(1) Betamethasone: 10 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (2) Dexamethasone: 5 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; (3) Isoflupredone: 100 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; (4) Methylprednisolone: 100 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasmaor serum;(5) Prednisolone: 1ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; or(6) Triamcinolone Acetonide: 100 pg/ml in biological samples consisting ofplasma or serum.

(d) Other substances shall be considered prohibited substances except for thechemicals listed below and their corresponding analogs and metabolites in con-centrations not exceeding the listed threshold:

(1) Acepromazine: 10 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine; (2) Albuterol: 1 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine; (3) Butorphanol: 300 ng/ml of total Butorphanol in biological samplesconsisting of urine or 2 ng/ml of free butorphanol in biological samplesconsisting of plasma or serum; (4) Cetirizine: 6 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (5) Cimetidine: 400 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; (6) Clenbuterol: 140 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of urine or at thelevel of detection in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (7) Dantrolene: 100 pg/ml of 5- hydroxydantrolene in biological samplesconsisting of plasma or serum;(8) Detomidine: 1 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum;(9) Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO): 10 ug/ml in biological samples consisting ofplasma or serum;(10) Furosemide: 100 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum;(11) Glycopyrrolate: 3 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum;(12) Guaifenesin: 12 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum;

(13) Lidocaine: 20 pg/ml of total 30H- lidocaine in biological samplesconsisting of plasma or serum;(14) Mepivacaine: 10 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine or at thelevel of detection in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum; (15) Methocarbamol: 1 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; (16) Omeprazole: omeprazole sulfide- 10 ng/ml in biological samplesconsisting of plasma or serum;(17) Procaine Penicillin: 25 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasmaor serum; (18) Ranitidine: 40 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma orserum; or (19) Xylazine: 200 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum.

(e) Androgenic-Anabolic Steroids (AAS) shall be considered prohibited sub-stances except for the chemicals listed below and their corresponding analogsand metabolites in concentrations not exceeding the listed threshold:

(1) The naturally occurring substance, boldenone, shall be permitted inconcentrations not exceeding:

(A) 25 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum forall horses, regardless of sex;(B) 1 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine for fillies, mares,or geldings; or(C) 15 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine for male horsesother than geldings.

(2) The naturally occurring substance, nandrolone, shall be permitted inconcentrations not exceeding:

(A) 25 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum forfillies, mares, and geldings;(B) 1 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine for fillies, mares,or geldings; or(C) 45 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine for male horsesother than geldings.

(3) The naturally occurring substance, testosterone, shall be permitted inconcentrations not exceeding:

(A) 100 pg/ml in biological samples consisting of plasma or serum forfillies, mares, and geldings;(B) 55 ng/ml in biological samples consisting of urine for fillies, mares(unless in foal); or (C) 20 ng/ml in biological samples consisting ofurine for geldings. (D) The concentration of testosterone is not regulated or restricted infillies or mares that are confirmed pregnant on the day of racing or inmale horses other than geldings.

(f) The use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and corticosteroids are subject tothe additional conditions:

(1) The presence of more than two permitted non-steroidalanti-inflammatories in a biological sample consisting of plasma orserum is prohibited; or(2) The presence of more than two corticosteroids in a biologicalsample consisting of plasma or serum is prohibited.

WORKOUT AND FIRST TIME STARTER REQUIREMENTSFOR ALL BREEDS RACING AT OHRC LICENSED TRACKSOnly timed works published by Daily RacingForm and/or Equibase maybe accepted with the approval of OHRC Stewards.

THOROUGHBRED WORKOUT REQUIREMENTSA. Horses which have an official start but not within sixty (60) days of arace must have one (1) approved published work within 60 days of arace.B. Horses which have an official start but not within one (1) year of arace must have two (2) approved published works within sixty (60) daysof a race.

C. Prior to entry, first time starters must receive approval from anOHRC licensed starter within ninety (90) days of a race. First timestarters must have two (2) approved published works within sixty (60)days of a race, one (1) of which must be at least three (3) furlongs fromthe starting gate with company.D. Any horse that works at an OHRC licensed racetrack must be iden-tified to the Gap Attendant or Starter by name, type of workout and dis-tance. Failure to report this information will result in referral to theStewards.E. Horses must have the original or a photocopy of the Jockey ClubCertificate of Foal Registration on file in the Racing Office before ahorse will receive a published work.F. Horses that have drawn into the body of a race and need a workout,must obtain the workout at a recognized pari-mutuel race track or anapproved Oklahoma training facility.

TURF COURSE:Turf races will be transferred to the main track should themanagement deem the turf course unsuitable for racing.In the event a race must be transferred from the turf course to themain track, the following distances will be used:

CONDITION ELIGIBLITY: means horses that meet the condition of the raceare preferred over those that do not. For Example: winners of two (2) racesentering into a non-winner of three (3) races would have preference over ahorse over a horse that has only one (1) win regardless of preference date.In open races, horses with with condition eligiblity (Example: N3, N2) areleast preferred to those with (3) or more wins. In such case, horses with con-dition eligibilty get into an open race. N3’s would be preferred over N2’s andso on.MULTIPLE WINNERS PREFERRED. Horses with three (3) or more wins areconsidered equal in preference and are then preferred by date unless other-wise stated. WINNERS PREFERRED. In all overnight races, eligibility shall be determinedby conditions and winners shall be preferred. MULTIPLE ENTRIES. Trainers with a muliple entry in a race that has beenused with 8 or less and scratches an entry for any reason that causes the fieldsize to fall below 7, will lose entry privileges for both horses for 20 calendardays. 325:30-1-8. FORM AND DEPOSIT CLAIM. All claims shall be in writing on aform approved by the Commission, shall be inclosed in the claim envelop,sealed and deposited in the claim box at least (10) minutes before post timeof the race in which the horse to be claimed is entered. No money shallaccompany a claim form, and any person or racing interest making a claimshall first have the amount of the claim and all applicable taxes on deposit withHorsemen’s Bookkeeper at the race meeting. The filing of a claim by deposit-ing the claim form in the claim box constitutes a contract of purchase at theestablished price and in accordance with the rules for claiming.EQUIPMENT CHANGE RULE FOR REMINGTON PARK BLINKER RULES:

a. Any blinker change from a previous start must be approvedby the Starter.

b. A blinker change must be declared at time of entry.c. No horse may arrive at the paddock wearing blinkers without

first getting permission from the Paddock Judge.Remember it is the Trainer’s responsibility to claim a blinker change at the timeof entry. Failure to do so will result in said horse racing in previous equipment.

NAMING OF RIDERSTrainers must name a rider and a backup rider at time of entry. If bothjockeys “take off” at the draw, the horse will be “left open” on theovernight. Trainers must name a rider for “open horses” on the

overnight by 9:00 a.m. (Wednesday for Friday, Thursday for Saturday,Saturday for Wednesday, and Tuesday for Thursday). The Stewards willname riders for all horses “remaining open” at 9:00 a.m. according to theschedule above. All subsequent rider changes after 9:00 a.m. will result

in a “double jock mount.”

ATTENTION HORSEMAN!All races for the 2021 Thoroughbred Meet will be veterinarianinspection races. All horses must be within the enclosure no

later than two (2) hours prior to the first (1st) post to comply with pre-race exams.

325:25-1-17. COUPLING OF ENTRIES. In no case shall more than two(2) horses having common ties through ownership, training, or lease beentered in a purse race (overnight). When making a double entry, thesecond same Owner entry drawn shall have no preference over any sin-gle entry in purse races, excepting a preference over an “in today” horse.At the time of entry, a preference must be made to the end that eachinterest may have an entry in each division should the race be divided.For different Owners, an organization licensee, with approval of theStewards, may allow for each entrant to have an equal shake to drawinto a race providing the horse(s) have preference. If a race is to bedivided, an additional conditional entry may be accepted from any inter-est. Each such entry may have a joint entry. All divided races will be con-sidered separate races.325:30-1-16. SALE OR TRANSFER OF A CLAIMED HORSE. Nohorse claimed out of a claiming race shall be sold or transferred to anyperson for racing purposes within (30) days, exclusive of the day suchhorse was claimed except in another claiming race.325:30-1-17. ENTRY OF CLAIMED HORSE. (a) horse claimed out of aclaiming race shall be eligible to race at any racing organization within theState of Oklahoma immediately or in any other state after the end of therace meeting where the claim occurred. A claimed horse shall not be eligi-ble to start in any other claiming race for a period of thirty (30) days exclu-sive of the day such horse was claimed for less than the price for whichthe horse was claimed. A claimed horse, with the permission of theStewards at that race meeting, may be allowed to participate in stakes ornomination races in other jurisdictions. A horse claimed in another juris-diction is subject to the eligibility requirements for the claimed horse ineffect at the time of the claim in the jurisdiction in which the horse wasclaimed.325:20-1-23. VETERINARIAN’S LIST. The Official Veterinarian shallmaintain a list of all horses who in their opinion are incapable of safelyperforming in a race and are, therefore, ineligible to be entered or startedin a race. Such horse may be removed from the Veterinarian List when inthe opinion of the Official Veterinarian the horse has satifactorily recov-ered the capability of performing in a race. The criteria for placing ahorse on the Veterinarian’s List shall include but not be limited to theshedding of blood from one or both nostrils following exercise or the per-formance in a race, and the running of a temperature unnatural to thehorse.

DEPOSIT OF JOCKEY FEE: The minimum jockey mount fee for a losingmount in the race must be on deposit with the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper prior tothe time for weighing out, and the failure to have such minimum fee on deposit iscause for disciplinary action and cause for the Stewards to scratch the horse forwhich such fee is to be deposited. The organization assumes the obligation topay the jockey fee when earned by the engaged jockey. The jockey fee shall beconsidered earned when the jockey is weighed out by the Clerk Of Scales,unless, in the opinion of the Stewards, such jockey capable of riding elects to takehimself off the mount without proper cause.

WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT COMPLIANCE.No person may be licensed as a Trainer, Owner or in any other capacity in whichsuch person acts as the employer of any other licensee upon the racetrack enclo-sure operated by an organization licensee, unless his/her liability for Workers’Compensation has been secured in accordance with the Workers’ CompensationAct of the State of Oklahoma and until a Certificate of Insurance or other appropri-ate evidence of self-insurance evidencing such security for liability is provided to thecommission. Should any such required security for Worker’s Compensation becancelled or terminated, any occupation license held by such person may be sub-ject to summary suspension and may be grounds for revocation of the license. Anytrainer who intends to bring a horse on the grounds of Remington Park musthave a minimum Workman’s Compensation policy on file with RacingCommission before doing so if he/she has employees.

KNOWLEDGE OF RULES. Every licensee, in order to maintain their qualifications for any licenses held bythem, shall be familiar with and knowledgeable of Track and Commission Rules,including all amendments thereto. Every licensee is presumed to know the Rules.

SHOE RULE 325:20-1-15.(b) The following shall be prohibited on the frontshoes of Thoroughbred horses while training and/or racing on any surface:(1) toe grabs with a height of greater than 2 millimeters;(2) bends;(3) jar caulks;(4) stickers; and(5) any other traction device worn on the front shoes.(c) Bar shoes may be used only with the consent of the Board of Stewards,and permission to discontinue their use must be obtained from the Stewards.

OWNER’S SILKS AND CERTIFICATE OF FOAL REGISTRATION.All owners must furnish their own silks. Following the conclusion of the meetplease arrange for your silks and Certificate of Foal Registration to be picked up.Although Remington Park makes every effort to ensure the safety of both, we willnot be held responsible for either silks or Certificate of Foal Registration left laterthan one week after the final day of the meet.

CERTIFICATE TO REFLECT CORRECT OWNERSHIP.Every Certificate of Foal Registration, Eligibility Certificate or lease agreement filedwith the Organization and its Racing Secretary to establish the eligibility of a horseentered for any race shall accurately reflect the correct and true ownership of suchhorse, and the name of the owner which is printed on the official program for suchhorse shall conform to the ownership as declared on the Certificate of FoalRegistration. A Stable Name may be registered for such owner or ownership withthe Commission. In the event ownership is by syndicated corporate, partnership, orother association or entity, the name of the owner which is printed on the officialprogram for such horse shall be the responsible managing owner, officer or partnerwho assumes all responsibilities as the owner.

PREFERENCE SYSTEM(1) All horses intended for racing at Remington Park will be assigned

a preference date when original Certificate of Foal Registration papers are submitted to the Racing Office with a current negativecoggins. A horse can have only one date at any particular time. 0 - Date: This date will correspond to the date on which a

horse’s foal papers are submitted to the Racing Office BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2021

E-Date: The day on which a horse’s Certificate of FoalRegistration is submitted to the Racing Office if afterdeadline for 0 date.

R-Date: This date will correspond to the day of a horse’s mostrecent race at Remington Park.

S-Date: An S-Date may be assigned to a horse which scratches. Any Horse running in a Stakes Race willretain its previously held Preference Date.

(2) Preference shall be given in all races, except handicaps andstakes.

(3) Preference dates will not supersede conditions of a race.(4) All horses registered on or before noon on Wednesday, August 11,

2021 will receive a zero, which is the lowest possible date. Ahorse keeps his zero until he runs, scratches or the papers areremoved from the Office (unless, for just cause - tattoo, corrections, etc.) the Racing Secretary may determine the statusof the preference date established.

(5) All horses registering on the first racing day and afterwards willreceive an “E date” corresponding to the racing day or the meeting when registered.

(6) Preference dates are good at any distance.(7) A Zero has first preference. Should a ‘Super-Date’ be given to a

horse, a ‘Super-Date’ will have preference over a Zero Date.(8) All horses place on the Steward’s, Starter’s or Veterinarian lists will

be posted on the bulletin board. They will not be permitted to enteruntil they have been approved to start. A horse which raced beforegoing on a list will keep its R-Date. Horses which were scratchedwill be given an R-Date of the day the Horse comes off the list.

(9) If a horse is registered or comes off a list on a non-racing day, thenext racing day will be used.

(10) In no way does claiming, ownership transfer or trainer transfer ofa horse affect the preference date.

(11) It is the responsibility of the person making an entry to claim preference at time of entry. The Stewards will consider no claimsthat do not comply with the above regulations.

(12) When a horse’s name appears in a race and is entered for the following day, such entry will be given no consideration should the race in which it is entered is overfilled.

(13) A zero date has first preference, then an “E” date, then “R” date followed by an “S” Date.

(14) In open claiming races Oklahoma Bred claiming price denotes Accredited Oklahoma Breds.

(15) Statistics provided by Equibase will be used to determine eligibilityunless the Stewards determine the Equibase Chart is incorrect.

Secretary’s office for all horses stabled and/or competing atRemington Park. In Oklahoma a copy of a negative coggins willno longer suffice according to the state. Due to the related High-Risk Health Considerations and associated OSHAMandatory Compliance Requirements, Remington Park has adopted the follow-ing policy, rules and procedures involving possession, use and storage of leadweights on Remington Park Property.

Jockey Lead Saddle Weight PolicyRemington Park will continually strive to maintain and improve positive health andsafety conditions throughout our facility. Lead dust/residue can be deposited atdetectable and unsafe levels as a result of improper lead weight handling andstorage. Lead, lead dust, lead residue and anything containing lead are consid-ered bio-hazards and can present serious health risks.

Only approved (by the Clerk of Scales) lead weights, in good/safe condition willbe allowed on Remington Park Property. The Clerk of Scales has the right toinspect all lead weights, their storage containers and their handling for compli-ance with Remington Park / OSHA Rules. Blatant or repeated violations of theRemington Park approved Lead Weight Condition / Possession / Handling /Storage Policy and Rules will be reported to Remington Park Management andthe Racing Board of Stewards for disciplinary action.

The RulesJockey Lead Saddle Weight Condition/Possession/Handling/Storage➢ It is the responsibility of the Clerk of Scales to prominently post, display and

assure compliance with these rules.➢ Only lead weights which are completely covered or encapsulated by leather,

rubber, plastic or duct tape and the weighted rubber saddle padsare approved for use/possession at Remington Park.

➢ Defective coverings, leather weights with open/unsealed/unstitched leadcompartments, frayed/worn/open duct tape covered lead weights,cracked/split/pealing plastic covered lead weights and etc. will be collectedby the Clerk of Scales for proper disposal.

➢ All lead weights (not the weighted rubber saddle pads) must be maintained/stored in a securely covered plastic container (i.e. Tupperware,Rubbermaid, etc.) specifically and exclusively designated for lead weights. These containers must be clearly marked as containing lead weights andhave appropriate bio-hazard “WARNING” labels.

➢ Between uses, lead weights found lying out on shelves, tables, benches, etc.outside of their approved containers will be collected by the Clerk of Scales.

➢ All appropriate measures must be taken to avoid contamination of any areasin which food may be prepared or consumed.

➢ Proper hand washing protocols should be used after any handling/contactwith the lead weights.

➢ Old lead weight storage containers not meeting the above requirements should be properly disposed of.

➢ Areas in which lead dust/residue may exist can be cleaned with a soapy water solution and clean rags. The used water and cleaning rags should be disposed of per the appropriate OSHA bio-hazard protocols.

➢ Results of the latest lead dust safety audit tests will be posted in the JockeyRoom Area.

Remington Park takes great pride in offering our facilities to you during thisrace meet. We do everything we possibly can to make your experiencewith us both a profitable and rewarding venture. After each race meetRemington Park expends a considerable amount of funds to refurbish,clean and remove unwanted items in not only the stalls but also the dormrooms, barn area, and race track. With the response we receive for stallseach horsemen needs to understand the value in having your horses sta-bled within the enclosure. Due to the premium that has been placed onthese stalls Remington Park management’s barn area policy for 2019 isvery simple:

1. Shed rows leveled and raked.2. All pallets removed.3. Feed and tack rooms completely emptied and swept.4. Dorm rooms completely emptied and swept.5. Area outside of allocated barn clean and free of trash.6. All bulk and bagged shavings/stall-bedding must be movedinside the barns by sundown on the same day as it is delivered.

NEW POLICIES7. Do not park on, or run over the black silt berms that have beeninstalled around all storm drains on the backside.8. Please report any damaged storm drain silt berms to the StallSuperintendent.

Equine Injury DatabaseIn consideration of the acceptance of an entry or a nomination of any horseto any race described in this Condition Book, the owner(s) and trainer ofsuch horse, consent to the collection of information related to any equineinjury occurring at the Remington Park facility to such horse and entry ofsaid information into database maintained by The Jockey Club (the“Equine Injury Database”). Said owner(s) and trainer further agree toindemnify, release, hold harmless and covenant not to sue Global GamingRP, LLC and Remington Park, any state or track-appointed veterinariancollecting such information and The Jockey Club (collectively, the“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any liability, cost, loss or expenseof any kind or nature (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’fees) arising from any claim, demand or action (a) alleging that the dataentered into the Equine Injury Database (either directly or indirectly) vio-lates the rights of the owner(s), trainer or any third party, or (b) relating toany equine injury report run, published or otherwise created by any of theIndemnified Parties, including the owners, stewards, directors, officers,employees and agents of any of them (either directly or indirectly).

Stable Area Rules & RegulationsA. General Rules1. An assistant trainer, Horseman’s Rep, may register unlicensed guestswith either the Stable Gate or Maintenance Gate security office, and areresponsible for their guest’s conduct and safety in restricted areas.2. No trainer is allowed to register an unlicensed employee (stable or oth-erwise) entering the grounds for the first time at the Stable Gate, unlessthe Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission License Office is closed at thattime or that day. The unlicensed employee will have until the next timelicensing office opens to apply for and receive a license (i.e. horses com-ing in the evening or on days the licensing office is closed.)3. No licensee may have on his/her person or among his/her personaleffects, while on the grounds of Association property, a hypodermicsyringe, needle, any medicine or drugs prohibited under the Commission'smedication rules, unless said drug has been prescribed by a physician orveterinarian and is properly labeled and in the original container.4. No licensee may have on his/her person or among personal effects,while on the grounds, an electrical or mechanical device that may affectthe normal performance of a horse.5. No licensee may possess, conceal, or exhibit a deadly weapon or oth-erwise disturb the peace on Association grounds.6. No person may have in his/her possession any narcotic or hallucino-genic drug, marijuana, or any other drug listed under the prohibited druglaws of this state, unless said drug has been prescribed by a physician orveterinarian and is properly labeled and in the original container.7. No person may use improper, profane, or indecent language to anyAssociation or Commission representative while in the performance ofhis/her duty.8. Please bring in all hanging laundry by Noon.9. No dogs are permitted on Association grounds.10. Washers, ice machines, or any mechanical devices may not be placedoutside the confines of the physical barn.11. Horses must be walked to and from the track. Do not gallop or joghorses along designated horse paths.12. Horses are not to be tied to anything that is not designated for that pur-pose (i.e. windows, doors, trees, gas lines).13. Trainers must sign an 'out slip' prior to leaving the Stable Gate withany horses.14. Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed within the privacy of yourdorm room or the Horseman's Kitchen. 15. Parents may sign in children under the age of 16 to the Stable Area.Children must be under their parent's supervision at all times, are allowedin the dorm rooms, however, cannot stay overnight in the Stable Area.16. Any individual working in the Stable Area must have a current OHRClicense specific to his/her job and the license badge must be in the indi-vidual's possession at all times.17. Each trainer is responsible for immediately reporting any terminatedemployee that resides in a dorm room to the Stall Office.

18. Food, beverages, and other items for personal use may not be soldin the Stable Area except by approved and properly licensed vendors.19. Vehicles must display a valid parking sticker to gain entry to theStable Area.B. Dorm Room Rules1. Sleeping in feed rooms, tack rooms, and stalls is strictly prohibited.2. All sleeping and living quarters must be authorized and assigned bythe Stall Office before being occupied.3. Painting or pasting on the walls of dorm rooms is strictly forbidden.4. Trainers are responsible for the conduct of their employees andappearance of their living quarters and general working area.5. Self-contained heaters are allowed in sleeping quarters (no exposedflame or heating elements). The use of kerosene heaters is prohibitedas well as the storage of kerosene.6. There may be no hot plates, electric skillets, or other electric cook-ing utensils in tack rooms, feed rooms, wash racks, dorm rooms, and/oranywhere under the shed rows (microwave ovens are acceptable).7. No propane cylinders may be stored inside any building.8. Any attempt to disable the smoke detectors in the dorm rooms sub-jects the person(s) found occupying these quarters to eviction, fine,suspension, and/or ejection.9. No modifications may be made to the building in order to install TVantennas, satellite dishes, or other paraphernalia.10. The Stall Office requires a $100 fee for each assigned room. Dormroom keys are not issued or occupancy allowed until fee is paid. A $25re-fundable key deposit is required.11. Each dorm room occupant must have a valid OHRC license. 12. In accordance with the Oklahoma State Fire Marshall, no morethan two occupants may reside in any dorm room.13. Personal locks/hasps on the dorm room doors are strictly prohibit-ed by the Oklahoma State Fire Marshall.14. Only fire retardant materials may be used as window coverings inthe dorm rooms such as drapes and blinds labeled as fire retardant oraluminum foil. No paper, posters, or feed sacks are permitted.15. Dorm rooms are subject to inspection for fire safety at any time inthe presence of the licensee staying in the dorm room or his/her train-er (if possible), a security officer, a horseman's representative and/or anOHRC agent.C. Shed Row Rules1. Smoking is not allowed in stalls, tack rooms, feed rooms, washracks, or under any part of the shed row.2. The use of infrared heat lamps is prohibited unless a veterinarianprescribes such use. If prescribed, the lamp(s) must be attended by acompetent individual throughout the use thereof. Evidence that thelamp(s) were prescribed by a veterinarian must be shown upon requestof any security personnel, fire protection personnel, and/or track offi-cials.

4. The use of extension cords within the tack rooms, wash racks, feedrooms, stalls, and/or anywhere under the shed rows is prohibited.5. Stall bedding is restricted to wheat straw, shavings, or wood pellets.6. Horse manure must be placed only within designated manurebunkers. The accumulation of manure in front of stalls is prohibited.

a. Absolutely no trash is to be deposited in bunkers.7. Nothing may be hung on, suspended from, or located within 36” ofsprinkler piping in the barns8. Nothing may be stored on or around water heaters.9. All manners of exit (entry doors and large barn doors) must be keptclear; no hay bales, feedbags or other equipment may block exits.10. No washing machines or other electrical equipment may be placedwithin a wash rack stall.11. No horsemen are to tamper with or modify any portion of the hotwalkers. any requests, additions, or modifications are to go through thestall office where a work order will be placed with Remington Park’s offi-cial electrical representative who will handle the installation of any addi-tions approved by Remington Park. All costs for add on requests willbe the responsibility of the requesting horsemen. Anyone violating thispolicy will be subjected to loss of stalls and or ejection from the prop-erty.D. Parking1. Parking of stable personnel is permitted only in designated areaswithin the white lines.i. There is no parking in or in front of manure binsii. There is no parking on the horse paths.iii. There is no parking on grass or future barn sites.iv. There is no parking on yellow lines or painted curbs.v. There is no parking in designated fire lanes2. The speed limit within the Stable Area is 15 MPH. 3. Adhere to all traffic signs.4. Properly stickered vehicles may park overnight in designated vehi-cle parking spaces and must not block any roadway.5. Any abandoned vehicles left on Association property will be towedand impounded at the owner's expense.6. Repairing and dismantling of motorized vehicles on Associationgrounds is prohibited.7. During training hours, 6:00AM - 10:00AM for the ThoroughbredMeet, no traffic is permitted between and through the barns (thisincludes deliveries).8. In order to minimize vehicle congestion and to maximize safety forthe horses, horsemen are required to park their vehicles and/or trailersin designated areas.i. Trailers - Temporary Parking - North of Receiving Barn. Vehicles -Parking spaces between barns - owners, trainers, assistant trainers,jockeys, blacksmiths, and veterinarians.ii. Parking lots north of barns - jockeys agents, jockeys, guests, andpony riders.

E. Backside Manure Handling ProceduresRevised 10-05-09

I. PurposeProvide expected guidelines and procedures for handling manure, soiledbedding and trash from the barn areas on the Backside. Post rules for handlingmanure by Horsemen. Provide bunkers. Conduct and document inspection ofmanure storage/handling areas.II. PolicyDue to new Federal and State CAFO Regulations, serious and monetarilysubstantial regulatory penalties can be imposed on Remington Park for allowingthe improper handling of manure and soiled bedding (straw, pellets, sawdust,etc.) on our property. Every due diligence effort and precaution must beemployed to prevent the contamination of ground water and migration ofmanure effluence into storm drains, which empty into the Deep Fork River, orany other natural resource waterway.• Remington Park is responsible for providing sufficient covered trash anddesignated manure/bedding storage bunkers/containers for each barn andmanure bunker location. • It is the Horse Trainer’s responsibility to ensure that all manure and soiled stallbedding is properly disposed of in the bunkers.• Trainers are additionally responsible to ensure that any manure, bedding, etc.dropped from the wheel barrels between the stalls and the bunkers (to includeall around and inside the manure bunkers) is subsequently picked up andplaced in the designated bunkers. • As bunkers are reaching their capacity, trainers will call Shawn Bergquist (StallManager), Stall Office (425-4115), to request a fresh bin to be put in place. Donot over-fill the bunkers. • Trainers are responsible for assuring that all trash, bottles, cans, etc. areproperly placed in the large trash containers at the ends of each barn and not inthe bunkers. •Trainers are responsible for picking up and properly disposing of manuredeposited by their horses during/after exercising on Hot-Walkers. • Horses must be washed only in the designated horse wash-racks inside eachbarn.• The Stall Manager is responsible for conducting a daily inspection of the barnsand manure bunkers to note if manure is properly placed inside the coveredbins, trash is being placed in the proper container, area around the barn andmanure bunkers are clear of soiled bedding/manure and if bins are overfilled.The inspection findings will be recorded on the Remington Park “DailyInspection Report Form for Bunker locations”. The Remington Park StallManager will submit the completed forms daily to the Facilities Director and theDirector of Internal Compliance. • Remington Park Facilities Deptartment will ensure that all streets and parkingareas between the barns on the backside will be swept (street sweeper) bi-weekly. The collected contents of the sweeper must be deposited inside abunker for collection. • Remington Park Security Deptartment is responsible for conducting a dailyproperty and backside inspection. Security will complete the “Daily Property &Backside Exterior Security Patrol Safety and Environmental ObservationChecklist” form. Completed forms will be submitted to the Facilities Director andthe Director of Internal Compliance daily. • A copy of these Rules/Policy will be posted inside each barn and at the StallOffice.

ATTENTION HORSEMENOklahoma Bred Funds available for 2021

Oklahoma Bred Funds are available to Accredited Oklahoma Bred Foalsin all races. An amount equivalent to the available Oklahoma Bredmoney in each race, will be deducted by the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper forjockey fees at the winning percentages indicated in OHRC Rule 325:25-1-30 Jockey Mount Fees.

Owner(s) may exercise their right to be excluded from this deduction forjockey fees by executing an exclusion form at the Horsemen’sBookkeeper Office prior to entry.

The OHRC has implemented a new Oklahoma Bred Fund distributionformula. The previous tier pay-out was replaced in 2014 and now isbased on a percentage of purse distribution formula. Forty-five percent(45%) of the base overnight purse is the gross amount for the OklahomaBred Fund award. 22.5% as Owner Awards and 22.5% as BreederAwards. Additionally, 10% will be made available from the base purse ofall open stakes races. The 10% will also be divided equally betweenOwners and Breeders. The OHRC remains committed to fostering andpromoting the Oklahoma Bred Fund to the fullest.
