Because of the associated partnering of most of the top UK studs within the UK we

have access to quality bred yearlings and racehorses, along with top bloodstock

agents who go to all the European and UK sales on our behalf. We look for quality

bred, but also keep within our structured budget. This is why we can keep within

owner’s budget constraints, and not over charge.

Our other massive offering is all about real-time information, fun and excitement

for all our owners. We have a state of the art online owners access portal, where

you will have everything you wish to know about your racehorse, and all other

information at a click of a button.

Dare to Dream...

We have two options of syndicates:Leased options – which give us the “racing rights” toquality bred fillies and colts from major studs which go onto become broodmares and Stallions when they retire from

racing.

Purchased options – we buy foals andyearlings at the sales and from the studsdirect then race from their 2yo and 3yo

season and sell them on during thistime to maximise value for the race

horse’s owners.

These associations give usaccess to quality bredyearlings and racehorsesgiving our owners the bestchance of that potential top

racehorse, at cost effectiveprices.

receiving the trophy. The adrenaline

rush that you will receive is like nothing

you would have ever experienced

before. It’s the ultimate satisfaction,

excitement, and rush that no other

Length of syndicate

The normal length of any of the syndicates is over a two year period, the greatest valueof any racehorse is normally at the end of their three year old career, we normally sell theracehorse at its peak price, giving the owners the greatest chance of a profit, in whichmany of our owners use this money to re-invest back into another yearling, where theirfun and excitement starts all over again. The exception to the norm, is if the racehorse is going to go onto a national Hunt career, where it will run for another year possibly two.

Purchased syndicate

When you join a purchased syndicate, you are actually purchasing a share in youryearling or racehorse, this is your share for the duration, and along with receiving all theownership benefits along with any prize monies, you will also have your share of the saleproceeds after tax and commissions. All VAT is reclaimed back, and shared equallyamongst the owners at the end of the year, along with any prize money.

Leased syndicate

They tend to be racehorses that the breeder hopes to breed from after its term withinthe partnership, you receive all the normal benefits of ownership including your prizemoney, but if the racehorse is sold at the end of the syndicate you do not receive anyproceeds of the sale. All VAT is reclaimed back, and shared equally amongst the ownersat the end of the year, along with any prize money.

Syndicates Explained

Page 8: Thoroughbred Racing Syndicate brochure

Benefits to our SyndicatesShare of prize money wonThe syndicate owners get the full ownership entitlement by receiving an equal share ofany prize money (Per % share) won on the racecourse.

However, to make our syndicates the best value possible, the cost of joining a racingsyndicate is purposely set low to cover all the general training, veterinary fees etc. Wearrange the full cost for everything, so there is nothing else to pay with the trainers. Thismeans that we do not ever charge you more than you need to pay by overestimating thenumber of likely runs for any horse. Moreover we will not ask you for any further financialcontribution money, unless your horse runs overseas, which would be decided uponthrough an owners vote.

Visits to see your horse at the racing yardWe strongly encourage the syndicate owners to go the racing yards to see their horsesworking, meet the trainer and staff, and spend an enjoyable morning with everyone.

Joint shares with your partnerIf you would like to get involved with your partner, we generally offer enhanced financialterms for the purchase of two shares on a joint basis.

Discount for multiple shares & Introducing friendsIf you would like to purchase more than a 10% share, we normally offer a discounted rate.Speak to a member of the Thoroughbred Racing staff for further information.

Race days as ownerOwners’ badges will be made available to every syndicateowner each time your horse runs. Sometimes it mayeven be possible for us to arrange additional badges foryou to take a friend or relation (which can often beavailable at a discounted rate via the racecourse). You getall the benefits of ownership, by being able to go intothe owner’s exclusive areas, going into the parade ring, rubbing shoulders with other owners, speaking with thetrainer and the jockey, to even possibly being in thewinners enclosure, and receiving the trophy, then off tothe owners bar for a glass of champagne, whilstsocialising with the other syndicate owners and thetrainer and the jockey. Owners’ badges normally affordspecial privileges at the racecourse, including access tothe reserved facilities for owners and trainers.

Nothing more to payBecause our racing syndicates are set to your budget, weare unique in our approach, there is no hidden extracosts, and so what you pay annually or monthly is all in.

Regular flow of information onlineYou will have access to the private owner’s access onlinewhere you will receive all information regards your horse, private trainers blogs, inside information on other bits ofinformation that we receive from other race yards, entries, declarations, and all other information on theother syndicate horses. Racehorse ownership at affordable prices...

Our Yearlings SalesMost of our owners want to be involved from the beginning of their horse’s racing career, from the sales ring to the naming and pre training, then watching their racehorse on thetrack, and daring to dream.Every November we hold a yearling parade, for our owners to come along and see whatracehorses they have bought into.

The main reason for our success is our associations with most major studs within the UK,enabling us to source quality bred yearlings with the massive potential to becomeoutstanding racehorses. This is why we stand out from the crowd. Our owners realise that buying into a yearling, they save thousands of pounds by beinginvolved from the start.

Not only do we get first pick of the yearlings that are bred at the studs, but we participate atall major yearling sales throughout the UK and Europe. The fantastic prospects of starting off with a yearling is that you as the owner are with theracehorse from the beginning, living the dream of the next potential superstar. We keep our average cost of yearlings to around £70,000, albeit, with the keen eye of ourbloodstock experts we would hope to find quality winning racehorses that are placed intothe partnerships for less, with 2 – 10 shares per syndicate.Your average cost per share is around £5,000 plus your monthly training fee, with nothingelse to pay.

To purchase a share in a yearling there is a deposit of £1,000 plus VAT per share, and thebalance is then paid at the end of December after you have come along to the yearlingparade and seen your racehorse.Naming your yearling is done at the beginning of the year, all the owners are invited along toa naming day within the tranquil settings of our selected trainers, where you and your fellowowners will have lunch and sip champagne. All the names are placed into a hat and the designated trainer will pull the name out of thehat “(subject to Weatherbys approval)”, and everyone toasts the name over a glass ofchampagne that is where the dream really begins, with your fellow owners and friends.
