The cem entbonded particleboard with thickness of10 – 32 m m coated with a water- based acrylic semitransparentpaint(7 colours).The coating ofthe cementbonded p articleb o ard CETRIS ® LASU R increases resistance against climatic influences and significantly decreases the board rate ofabsorption. The boards CETRIS ® LA SU R are mainly used as a facing of vented façade systems. We supply these boards in sizes according to the wish of a customer (max.1250 x 3350 m m ).The boards can be supplied with predrilled attachm ent h o les and m odified edges. CETRIS® cem ent bonded particleboard is a construction m aterial of excellent qualities. CETRIS® cem ent bonded particleboard can be found in all kind of prefabricated constructions.

It is ideally suited for the dry building technologies, projects built in adverse clim atic conditions

and other applications, w here all of the unique positive properties of this m aterial can fully develope.

Types of CETRIS®

cem ent bonded particleboard

CETRIS® cem ent bonded particleboards are produced by pressing a m ixture of w ooden particles, portland cem ent and hydratation additives. The surface is sm ooth; the color is cem ent-like grey.

Cem ent bonded particleboards are used preferably in

such cases, w here m oisture resistance, m echanical

strength, fire resistance and ecological cleanness are

required at the sam e tim e. CETRIS® boards contain

neither asbestos nor form aldehyde. They do not get

m ouldy and do resist insects.

A basic type of the cem ent bonded particleboard w ith a sm ooth cem ent grey

surface. The standard production thicknesses are 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22,

24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 m m . O n special request also boards 34, 36, 38 and 40

m m thick can be produced.

The basic size of the board

is 3350 × 1250 m m . The

boards can be delivered

cut dow n to a specified size.

The edges can be straight

or rounded or cham fered at

45° angle. They can be also

m illed to the sem igroove

CETRIS® cement bonded particleboard combines the virtues of cement and wood. It is lighter than a common cement fibreboard. Considering its strength, stability in moisture, weatherproofness, frost and mould resistance, it is much better than chipboard or plasterboard.

Storage of the CETRIS® boardsThe CETRIS® boards must be stored in covered and dry areas so that the boards do not get wet before they are installed. For storage, CETRIS® boards may be stacked in more layers provided that they are of uniform size.

Q uality certificatesThe producer pays steady attention to the quality of the production. The production plant has been certified according to EN ISO 9002 since the year 1996. In the 2004 it was recertified to EN ISO 9001:2000 by the internationally accredited certification body Lloyd’s Register Q uality Assurance. The production process is supervised by independent testing institutes.

CETRIS® holds CE-certificate according to EN 13986 since June 2004. CE-certificate rounds up the overall technical certification and declares the conformity of the products anywhere in the European markets.
