TWENTEEN ‘ZINE is a free magazine aimed at the teen to early thirties demographic of London and Brighton. We are proud to be the first free ‘zine specifically of this kind, built from scratch by a group of students and graduates/fresh industry talent showcasing passion and encouraging creativity, inspiration and individuality. The magazine will focus on creative and fashion points of interest, whilst discussing cultural and health issues amongst both guys and girls, aiming to promote free- spirited and out-of-the-box thinking in a non- elitist way, embracing all walks of life and style. TWENTEEN will be an open space for anyone to contribute upon topical subjects, capturing and influencing the zeitgeist of modern day creative’s. Likened to that of Vice, Disorder and i-D, Twenteen will fit snugly among other mainstream magazines, offering a free, pocket-able ‘zine for all walks of life. Above being a contributed voice from trend setters, TWENTEEN will keep to no boundaries, forming a creative bubble within which to stream the thoughts of all in-betweens, no matter whether you’re wearing skinny jeans, Nike, Apparel or just that old shirt you had taken in by your fashion designing housemate! In addition we’ll showcase young talent working on the cutting edge of fashion innovation, discussing vintage gems and the alterations it takes to make them perfect.

NAIDA ALLY – Graduate in Literature from UEL, Former contributor to Super Super magazine and former employee of Notion magazine and Clouds Media in Tanzania. A very experienced writer with the inside scoop on magazine publication.

JAMES ABBOTT – Graduate in Fine Art from UEL and currently employed as a graphic designer, JME has previously worked freelance and models in his spare time.

DANIEL DEROY – Former student of the Northern Film School with years of sales experience, he’ll be mixing his talents as a critic and advertising guru.

CARLA REES - Graduate in Fashion from UEL, Carla upholsters and alters whilst working freelance as a punk/street clothing designer.
