ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGEES

Detailed Environment Influence Evaluation Study was carried out in 2006 and updated in 2012.

Implementation of the project prevented 300,000 tons of coal from being burned and decreased greenhouse gas emissions by 150,000,000 m3.

Ground water pollution along the Tuul River Basin will be greatly decreased.

165 000 m3/day of purified waste water will reach surface water standards and can then be released into the Tuul River.
