The production for 1992 was 0.25 mmsrb equivalent

    [

an average daily rate of 694 stb/d. Whilst awaiting in-

stallation of permanent production facilities and a pipe-

line, field production will continue utilizing the tem-

porary facilities and trucking. Production is scheduled

to commence in January 1993 at a planned rate of 6,800

    stb/d for the year.

During the year the second appraisal well SLK-3 was

    successfully completed. Two further appraisal

development wells were drilled and SLK-2 was re-

entered. The SLK-4 well was completed as a production

well and produced oil at 8,600 stb/d on a I

     ii

    size

choke. The SLK-2 well was re-entered and drilled

through the Abiod reservoir but failed

    to

    produce hydro-

carbons during testing. The SLK-5 well was drilled to

appraise the north of the field and encountered non-

reservoir in the Abiod formation and no testing opera-

tions were conducted. The SLK-l well was worked over

and a larger tubing string was installed to allow for in-

    creased production rates.

The Sidi El Kilani Oil Field development will continue

during 1993 with production start up from existing wells

and 3-D seismic will be acquired over the structure. Fur-

ther development drilling is planned late 1993 or early

    1994.

During 1992 Enterprise Tunisienne D Activities Petrole-

um (ETAP) exercised its contractual option to par-

ticipate in the development and exploitation of the Sidi

    EI Kilani Oil Field.

100 km of new seismic data was acquired and one ex-

ploration well was drilled. This encountered good res-

ervoirs which, however, were water bearing and the

    well was abandoned.
