Alicanto Mining Corp.Alicanto is a private project-generating company aiming to initiate goldproduction activities in Colombia by Q1 2016. Launched in 2013, it hasa subsidiary based in Bucaramanga, Santander department, home ofthe famed California Gold District (Ventana Gold, Eco-Oro, etc.). Alicantohas a strong technical team with over 130 years combined successfulinternational exploration experience including Central and South America, Africa, Canada and Armenia. The team has strong connectionswith the Colombian mining sector. Prior to Alicanto’s launch it was incharge of exploration, and responsible for discoveries, at Calvista GoldCorporation, which was sold to AUX in November 2012. Tuligtic covers the Ixtaca Gold-Silver Deposit, which was dis-covered by Almaden in 2010.The Ixtaca Deposit currently hosts an N.I. 43-101 compliant Measuredand Indicated resource of approximately 93 million tonnes grading 0.55g/t Au and 32 g/t Ag, for a total of 1.65M ounces of gold and 96.7Mounces of silver. Metallurgical recoveries for both gold and silver areforecast to be in the range of 90%.In September 2014, Almaden reported on a Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Ixtaca deposit, which estimates an economically robust project generating an after-tax IRR of greater than 20% usingUS$1200/oz gold and US$18/oz silver prices. The project would producean average of 130,000 ounces of gold and 7.8M ounces of silver per yearfor approximately 12 years.Our September 2014 PEA demonstrates that Ixtaca is one of Mexico’spremier precious metals deposits. Our focus is now on advancing proj-ect engineering in a careful and deliberate manner and concurrentlyoptimizing project design.
