MORE EFFICIENT

SRCOOL33K removes hot air from the hot aisle and supplies cold air high in the cold aisle,

allowing cold air to sink and distribute across equipment intakes. This optimized, close-

coupled airflow path promotes temperature uniformity from top to bottom. The competitor

supplies cold air low in the cold aisle, causing undesirable heat concentration and increased

intake air temperatures above the rack midpoint.

Legacy On/Off Cycle (Competitor)

SRCOOL33K’s variable-speed, DC-inverter-driven compressor and microprocessor-controlled

electronic expansion valve (EEV) allow precise cooling adjustments, providing more efficient

operation than the competitor’s legacy “on/off” cycle. SRCOOL33K’s soft-start feature also

prevents line noise, voltage disruptions and potential circuit overloads introduced by the

competitor’s massive inrush spikes, which occur repeatedly with each “on” cycle.

Model DescriptionSNMPWEBCARD Adds Ethernet network interface for remote monitoring and control via SNMP, Web, SSH or telnet. Replaces pre-installed Modbus interface.

ENVIROSENSE Environmental sensor connects to SNMPWEBCARD for additional remote temperature/humidity monitoring. Also monitors and controls devices that support dry contact communications. Can monitor up to 3 additional sensors.

SRCOOL33K’s precise, efficient cooling technology allows it to operate at lower acoustic

noise levels than the competitor. (Note: Acoustic noise was measured with systems at full

“on” level.)
