100% Recycled three layered content:The top layer is all recycled Wool, the midlayer is recycled cloth and woven carpetand the base layer is rubber which is fromrecycled lorry and tractor tyres. A greatreuse for all of these waste products.

3 Layer Construction: Most similarproducts on the market are made of a twolayer construction. This three layerconstruction is particularly good at crushrecovery and independent tests show it isthe best performer in this regard (as perBS4052).

Insulation: Wool, as a fibre, is a greatinsulator on its own. The three layerconstruction makes this even moreeffective giving it excellent thermalinsulation properties (2.2tog) and soundinsulation too (32db).

AXF LTTRIPLE LAYER UNDERLAY

Support: Felt is particularly good whenused in conjunction with woven carpetsas there is a velcro effect between thetop of the underlay and the wovenbacking itself. This helps to secure thecarpet in place once fitted (unlikesmooth surfaces on many foamunderlays) and reduces the likelihood ofmovement over time. In addition felt isparticularly good at allowing seams tobed in and are much less pronouncedonce the carpet has settled afterinstallation.

Durability and longevity: Axfelt iscontract rated so will provide long termsupport in carpet performance thereforeextending the life of the carpet as aresult.

Not suitable for underfloor heating.
