I grew up in Ashley, PA. and attended the Centenary UMC. This was the place of my spiritual foundation. I was extremely active in everything within my home church. I graduated from St. Leo’s School in Ashley and attended Kings College. I worked for various companies within the Wyoming Valley garnering a lot of valuable life experience. When I decided to go into ministry I went back to school and got my Associates Degree in Social Science. I have completed the required Course of Study School at Wesley Seminary in Washington, D.C. for Local Pastors. Donnie and I will be married 43 years on July 13. It has been a wonderful relationship (most times). My husband graduated from GAR in Wilkes-Barre and retired last year from Keystone Auto Industries in Exeter as an Inside Sales Representative selling after-market auto body parts. Donnie is a Certified Lay Speaker, and spends his retirement making prayer beads. Don Jr. graduated from GAR. He recently moved to Atlanta and had the nerve to take our granddaughters with him. He works for Atlanta Rigging (a staging company). Bridget graduated from Myers High School and West Chester University and works in the insurance business. Gayle is our special child. Gayle is autistic. Gayle graduated from W-B Vo Tech in 2004 after being in Special Education classes her whole school life. Gayle can speak and let you know what she wants but she is very echolalic (she will repeat what you say to her). Currently she is in the Community Unity Program at Suncom in Bloomsburg. She looks forward to going to the Special Needs Camp at Sky Lake in N.Y. each summer. Donnie and I are involved in the Emmaus and Chrysalis programs. My relationship with God is cemented by a consistent prayer life, which is important for everyone. It will be my privilege to share the Word of God and His love with these churches and to see God at the very center of our lives. I believe in the risen Lord Jesus Christ and in the stories and words He gave us. It has been my practice to follow the Lectionary for preaching each Sunday meaning that my sermons are scripturally based. I welcome the opportunity to become involved in the life of these churches – with the day to day activities that lead to praising our God and giving Him the glory and honor that is due Him.
