  • 2.0 SPATIAL COMPOSITION Inspired by the Lotus flower from Hinduism architecture, the design depicts the Lotus pedals by arranging simple square shapes in a complex and symmetrical order.

Despite its angled and sharp ge-ometry, the design, as a whole, still gives a sense of tenderness and fragility.

  • THE FLYING HOPEIn 2200, when the Earth has been severely destroyed by pollution and disasters, people have to fight each other for oxygen, living space, food and water. A group of people decided to take refugee to another planet by building a flying ship. This ship can provide accommodation for up to 10 000 people and travel as fast as light. Eventually the group of refugees wanders from planets to planets in order to find the second Earth. In the condition of no gravity and lack of oxygen, the ship has to be tied down to the surface by metal chains and when the great flood comes it will flow above the water.
