Trevor Lee Chesson, 10, of Hamshire, died Monday, November 27, 2017. He was born October 17, 2007, in Port Arthur to Aimee and Shane Chesson. He was a lifelong resident of the Hamshire area, and a 4th grade student at Hamshire-Fannett Elementary School.

He is survived by parents, Aimee and Shane Chesson, of Hamshire; grandparents, Judge Ray Chesson and his wife, Kathy, of Hamshire; and Jeannie and Leonard LaPoint, of Nederland; great-grandparents, H.L. “Scrap” Krebs, of Hamshire; Pauline and A.J. Dupree, of Trinity; and Frances LaPoint, of Tyrell; uncles, Dillion LaPoint, of Nederland; Justin Chesson, of Hamshire; and Emily and Boyd Abshire, of Hamshire; cousins, NaNa and E.J. Abshire; and Braxton and Austin Chesson; his best friend, his dog, Josie.

Trevor Lee Chesson, a name that will live in the hearts of many. A name at the tender age of ten passed into the loving arms of Angels. An avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, and a gift to so many. This little man may have done more in his ten short years than most men have done in a lifetime. With a

competitive soul, a sturdy handshake for the biggest of men, always a hug for the lovely ladies, and heart as huge as his smile. This is our little man. With initials TLC, how could

you not fall in love with his precious soul. Trev took full advantage of life and lived it to the fullest. Trevor’s family,

community, friends, and classmates were his world as were the outdoors. We will always love you Trevor Lee Chesson and will hold you forever in our hearts. God, hold Trevor in

your loving arms until we can meet again. Love you son!
