Trekking along the Stevenson Trail (GR70) The Public and the Private high schools organized a trekking day outing on 3rd June 2008.

17 students volunteered in each school to participate.

We left from Langogne at 8h45 by coach to a tiny village called « Fouzilhac ».There, the teachers in charge intoduced themselves to the students from both schools.We gave the students a worksheet each to note down what has (not) changed since Stevenson made this journey and a carrier bag to pick up plants and other objects to make a collection of dried plants for a common exhibition.The first part was difficult as the trail was terribly muddy and slippery! But we had to move along…

We walked for 20 km altogether. NO ONE COMPLAINED!
