Section XIII
Treasury NetSM Account Groups
Account Group Overview
The Account Group feature offers the convenience of entitling users by account group,
filtering the Dashboard by account group and searching by account group.
Account Groups also allow client System Administrators to:
Manage large numbers of accounts and users more efficiently
Add multiple accounts to individual users quickly and easily
Group accounts based on varied criteria. For example, group accounts by
location or linked services.
Setting Up Account Groups
Setting up an Account Group is quick and easy.
1. Click Setup on the navigation bar as shown below.
2. Click Maintain Account Groups.

3. Click Add Group from the Entitlements > Maintain Account Groups screen.
4. Enter an Account Group name and Group Description (optional). Then, click
Save.

5. Click on the Account Group name hyperlink to add accounts to a new or existing
Account Group.
6. The eligible accounts will display on the Assign Accounts to Group screen.
7. Checkmark the accounts(s) to be added to the Account Group and click Save.

8. Upon successful assignment of accounts, the Account Group Status will display
as Pending Add.
Approve Account Groups
1. A new or modified Account Group must be approved by another Admin User to
be activated. Go to Setup and click on Maintain Account Groups. Click on
Pending under Assignment Status to display the designated account list.

2. Review the pending account list and click on Approve or Reject.
3. Updates to Account Group will display (Approved or Rejected), click OK.
4. The Assignment Status will update accordingly, click Done to return to the Setup
Administration screen.

Account Group Report
From the Maintain Account Groups screen, click on Generate Account Group Report.
The report will list accounts for each Account Group as well as those that have not been
assigned to a specific group.
NOTE: The report can also be viewed in PDF format.

Assigning and Using Account Groups
Client Administration: Assign Accounts to Users
1. Using the left navigation bar click Set Up to display Administration Tasks, and
then click on Manage Users.
2. Click Add User or a User Name to modify an existing user.
3. Click on a Permissions fold to assign accounts (Payments and Reporting Accounts or Check Services Account Assignment).
NOTE: “ Assign accounts by group” will only display if groups have been created.

4. Check the Group Name(s) and check/uncheck services to be entitled to this
User and Account Group.
5. Click Save P&R Service Assignments or Save Check Services Assignment.
6. To activate the user, an approval from another administrator may be required,
depending on your organization’s approval requirements. See Treasury Net
Administration for steps to approve and manage users.

Dashboard – Deposit Accounts Display
The accounts on the Dashboard can be filtered to display all accounts, accounts
selected individually or an Account Group.
1. From the Dashboard, click on Dashboard Preferences and then expand Add
and remove accounts to be displayed by clicking on the menu bar or click (+)
Expand All.

2. Expand the Search bar and then, from the Account Group drop down menu,
select an Account Group and click on the Search button.
3. Only the accounts within the Account Group will be listed. Click Save Account
Selection Changes.

4. A message will display to confirm “Changes to the Dashboard Accounts have
been saved.”

5. Dashboard Deposit Accounts will now display only those in the Account Group
selected.
Account Lookup
Account Lookup has been updated to allow Advanced Search by Account Group
throughout Treasury Net.

Below is a quick view of where you can take advantage of this enriched search feature:
Balances: Current Available and Account Balances.
Transfers: Make Transfers (Single & Multiple), Sequential Transfers*, Approve
Transfers, Scheduled Items and Transfer History.
Stops and Inquiries: All Activity, Stop Payments (Single & Range), Monitor and
Approvals.
Positive Pay: Exceptions, Issue Maintenance (Add Issues/Voids & Change
Status), Approvals (Exceptions & Issues), and Monitor.
