SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CAKE SERVES 12Behind it’s show-stopping appearance, discover a chocolate sponge with a brownie layer, sandwiched between a home-made sea-salted caramel sauce & buttercream. Covered with a rich chocolate ganache & Criolla cacao nibs.

MATCHA, SOUR CHERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE CAKE SERVES 12Our triple layer Matcha (green tea) sponge uses Ceremonial Grade Matcha. Each layer contains our home-made sour cherry compote and white chocolate buttercream. Serve with a Matcha tea for even more antioxidants.

BANANA & CHOCOLATE CHIP LOAFSERVES 10-12A moist loaf, made with fresh banana puree, unsweetened chocolate chips and decorated with sliced fresh banana. Great toasted for breakfast, and popular with many customers as contains absolutely no allergens and no cane sugar. MANGO & COCONUT CHEESECAKE SERVES 8Hard to believe it’s vegan, with a creamy taste and texture, this baked cheesecake will not only please your vegan customers but we’re sure your non-vegan customers won’t know the difference. Tropical mango and coconut blended together on top of a shortbread base.

APPLE, ALMOND & MARZIPAN CAKE SERVES 10A long-standing classic. Ground almonds & marzipan pieces are combined with British cold pressed rapeseed oil and fresh Bramley apples to make this traditional tea-time cake.

A BIT ABOUT...Having come from an Irish family that always had cake at home, baking

with Mum on a Saturday afternoon was an enjoyable past-time. Many years later, Caroline found herself with a life choice when the recession hit having spent time in the corporate world. Needing a distraction from

relentless job-hunting and a different life, she started creating confectionary and cakes for sale on market stalls. Positive feedback gave her inspiration to try something new and The Free From Bakehouse was born. She contributes the success of her business to ‘being at the right

place, at the right time’ developing creative flavours, along with heaps of tenacity to build a baking business that now has a number of

award-winning baked goods being supplied to a wide range of wholesale customers – from top end food halls and health food outlets to delis, coffee houses and independent shops throughout London. As well as

supplying wholesale, the business has a stall a Borough Market every week selling an extensive range of ‘free-from’ bakes.
