id you know that the best-maintained system of mountain bike trails is only a 30-minute drive from North Platte? Potter'sPasture, located just ten miles south of Brady is a renowned stop-over for mountain bike enthusiasts from all over thecountry. According to the Nebraska Game

and Parks Commission, Potters Pasture is comprised of morethan 1,300 acres of privately owned land. Steven Potterprovides the land while local biking enthusiasts provide allof the labor and equipment to maintain the trails. The terrain is varied - trees and valleys for shade, some nicegradual climbs, then there's the wicked Six-Man trail thatonly six people have ever completed without stopping. Thecourse is fun and as challenging as the bikers make it, withso many trails you could ride daily for a month and not haveto take the same trail twice.
