Cargo area spotlight/camera systemA powerful spotlight for the cargo area is installed as standard (LED optional) to ensure that loading and unloading processes can be optimally monitored even in poor light conditions. HAWE supplies a camera system for monitoring

the internal and rear areas upon request.

Hydraulically folding front wallAll HAWE silage transport trailers feature a transparent front wall with a hydraulically folding upper section. All cables and hydraulic lines are routed through a hose cabinet to ensure that the trailer can be easily and safely attached and detached.

HAWE SLW silage transport trailers are designed for professional use, high loads and a long service life. These trailers, which are available in seven models from 27 to 50 (60) cubic metres loading volume, were developed in close cooperation with farmers, contract farmers and machinery rings. Each HAWE silage transport trailer represents decades of experience. All trailers feature important details to deliver maximal loading volumes and make working with them as easy as possible for users. HAWE silage transport trailers are very easy to tow, highly fuel-efficient and gentle to soils, which are, after all, farmers’ most important capital. A wide range of large-volume tyre options is available for each model. The (optional) lift axle in tandem and tridem vehicles improves tractor traction. Steering axles reduce soil settling even further. HAWE offers all popular commercial coupling systems for upper and lower attachment. Drawbar suspension is provided as standard in all models except the SLW 25 TD; hydro-pneumatic suspension is available in the SLW 40 to SLW 50 models.

HAWE SLW silage transport trailers Powder-coated steel body, including frame and mudguards etc. Fully galvanised and plastic-coated trapezoidal sheet. Bodies in models SLW 45 and above are powder-coated. The screwed bodies are demountable. The transparent front wall with hydraulically folding upper section and the hood-type profile (from SLW 45 and above) are provided as standard. The lift axle and hydro-pneumatic running gear suspension are available as options.

Proportioning rollersAll HAWE models from SLW 30 and above feature proportioning rollers as standard to ensure that chopped silage is distributed evenly. The models are also available without proportioning rollers upon request.

Two-stage scraper floor driveMechanical drive with change gear Also available with a hydraulic two-stage scraper floor drive as an option. High unloading speeds of up to 14 m/min for short unloading times.

Robust scraper floor4 robust scraper floor chains with 13 or 14 mm diameter respectively and up to 25 tons breaking load. The 60/30 U-section scraper floor slats in models SLW 45 and above are designed for maximum loads.

The large-volume tyres reduce the tractive power requirement and prevent soil compaction even under wet harvesting conditions. The large contact area minimises rolling resistance to keep the tyres rolling even under difficult conditions.
