This week you should have received via email the third of three brief questionnaires. In order to get credit for the course you must hit “reply”, answer the two questions and send it to us. If you do not wish to answer the questions you may choose to audit the course.

1. PERSONAL TRANSFORMATIONRemember how we talked about the Lord saying, “I am going to build my Ekklesia?”, my church, not my temple, not my synagogue but my Ekklesia. And then we also said that Ekklesia (church) and the Kingdom of God are two sides of the same coin. Where the kingdom went the church was built, where the church was established, the kingdom was established.

What are the obstacles that keep us from understanding that everyone is a minister and that ministry is a lifestyle? And a lifestyle can only be done 24/7 whether you are driving a taxi, pastoring a church, closing a deal, you are part of the Ekklesia.

So let me mention one major obstacle:

Not loving what God loves the most: the world

– for God so loved the world that he gave the very best

– baptism of love for a world that is lost

– when we don’t love the lost and we talk to them about the love of God, it’s like giving them a good kiss bad breath

– if your favorite dish is bbq lamb he will not send you after the lost sheep

bringing down strongholds

ED: James says cleanse your hands you sinners – that’s what everybody sees – but also purify your hearts. You see it’s not enough to say I won’t do it any more, you need to get to the root cause and you will purify your heart by doing the 40 day treatment…

1. Submit to God

2. Resist the devil

3. Draw near to God

4. Deal with both the outward manifestation and the root cause

2. FAMILY TRANSFORMATIONED: Welcome to week 5 in the School of Tyrannus. The subject is “Prayer Evangelism as a Family Lifestyle.” So before I introduce the panel, let me give you something to pick you up. In the book Prayer Evangelism chapter 1, the title is “What the devil doesn’t want you to know”… that he’s a loser (story from Rocky 2)…

Get up, get up you blessed one! Because this is week 5 of the School of Tyrannus!

ED: I want you to watch these children whose parents are walking together with them practicing prayer evangelism. Get ready to be blessed and every time the kids say some-thing to the audience that goes for you.

EMMA: (telling about buying the dress and asking the woman if she needed prayer. She thinks she has heard God’s voice and we say she has.)

NATHAN: I’m here to tell you that if God can transform my mind he can transform yours…(preaching his sermon)

ED: God is speaking to you tonight. He is saying that your chil-dren and your grandchildren will rise up and call you blessed! Grab hold of hope. Declare my family will come back!

And now Chuck conducted an interview with Michael Brown. Michael Brown is featured in the video “Transfor-mation in Vallejo”.

Just watch how Michael caught it. You know, first personal transformation, then marriage and family transformation, then his company gets transformed, and then the city is experiencing transformation, because Michael changed paradigms and he says it very eloquently. Watch this interview…

1. What is one of the main obstacles to our developing ministry as a lifestyle in the marketplace and how do we overcome it?

2. How has the 40-day treatment helped you pull down strongholds in your own personal life. How has it helped you minister to others? What are the four steps James gives to deal with strongholds and how does he help us get to the root cause of our problems?
