I. INTRODUCTION OF PROJECT
PETROVIETNAM ENGINEERING J.S.C
Defines the minimum requirements for the supply, design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing, painting and preparation for shipment, documentation and VENDOR assistance of Fire Fighting & Safety Equipment.
The equipment shall be complete, tested, pre-commissioned and commissioned in accordance with requirements in enquiry document, taking due account of preservation and transport requirements.

V. SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Prior to shipment, VENDOR shall carry out the required Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in the presence of COMPANY/CONTRACTOR engineers or their appointed representatives.
Any unsatisfactory material, equipment, installation, or workmanship shall be replaced or repaired to COMPANY/CONTRACTOR’s satisfaction at VENDOR's cost.
VENDOR shall inform COMPANY/CONTRACTOR as part of the bid, if any of the specified tests cannot be performed. In the absence of such a statement, it shall be understood that all requirements of this specification are fulfilled without exception.
Any manufactured part which does not comply with the Specification or which shows defects during inspection will be rejected and shall be notified in writing.
VI. INSPECTION, TESTING AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

VENDOR must supply the spares required for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up. A list of spares considered for each package shall be submitted to COMPANY/CONTRACTOR for review
A recommended spare parts list for two (2) years of operation shall also be submitted for CONTRACTOR’s review and purchase separately.
All items supplied shall be packaged separately and clearly marked as ‘Spare Parts’ and shipped with the equipment.
VII. SPARE PARTS

The surface preparation, coating and painting shall be as per specification
As a minimum, all main items shall be provided with a permanently mounted stainless steel plate.
Name Plates, Tagging and Warning Labels shall be mounted by means of mechanical fastener such as rivet. Means of fastening such as glue etc. are not acceptable.
VIII. PAINTING AND TAGGING

VENDOR shall guarantee all equipment furnished to be in compliance with this specification and drawings.
VENDOR and his Sub-VENDOR shall operate a quality system satisfying the latest ISO 9001 Quality Standards, or agreed equivalent standard, commensurate with the goods and services provided.
VENDOR shall demonstrate evidence of Quality Assurance in all aspects of VENDOR’s current design and manufacturing practices. Quality Control procedures covering all aspects of design, manufacturing, inspection and test relevant to the equipment shall be included.
IX. GUARANTEE & QUALITY ASSURANCE

Vendor shall provide manufacturer data book containing all the certificates/reports and Vendor Data Book (VDB) containing the final approved unit and data sheets, installation details, dimensional drawings, technical catalogues, performance criteria, commissioning manual, operations and maintenance manuals etc.
Compilation of the manufacturer data book and the Vendor Data Book shall be as specified in the project requirements.
