ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Overview of Faculty Training Program
Easwari Engineering College, an Autonomous
Ins�tu�on and a unit of SRM group of Educa�onal
Ins�tu�ons for higher learning is func�oning under
"Valliammai Society". The society was found in the
year 1975 for the purpose of promo�ng the cause of
Quality educa�on by Dr.T.R.Paarivendhar, an
Academician and Educa�onist. EEC was established
in the year 1996. the college is affiliated to Anna
University, Chennai, since 2002, accredited by NAAC
and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
College offers Eight Under Graduate and Six
Post Graduate Programs covering Engineering &
Technology and Management. Most of the Courses
was accredited by NBA and the College has strong
Industry Interac�on with Na�onal and Interna�onal
Organisa�ons.The college has obtained ISO 9001 :
2015 cer�fica�on from TUV south Asia.
The Na�onal Board of Accredita�on (NBA)
came into existence as an independent autonomous
body with the objec�ves of assurance of quality and
relevance to technical educa�on, especially of the
programs in technical disciplines through the
mechanism of accredita�on of programs offered by
technical ins�tu�ons. The NBA conducts evalua�on
of programs of technical ins�tu�ons based on
evalua�on criteria and parameters laid down by its
Commi�ees and Council. This six days FTP covers
overview on Outcome Based Educa�on(OBE) and the
importance of accredita�on. The course will provide
informa�on about the Vis ion and Mission
statements, CO-PO mapping, assessment and
a�ainment of POs, students performance,
developing course materials , facili�es and technical
support and con�nuous improvement
