The term “Universidad“ is a legally protected denomination and reserved for those postsecondary institutions of higher education, offering at least five officially recognised Licenciado (Bologna system Master-level) or postgraduate degree programmes, in at least three study areas, including arts (humanities).

The UK Register of Learning Providers is a ‘one-stop’ portal to be used by government departments, agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers. The UKRLP allows providers to update their information in one place and share this across agencies such as the Skills Funding Agency, the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and UCAS. There are many reasons why you may want to undertake Graduate and Postgraduate study in the form of a research degree.

For example, you may require a postgraduate research degree to progress in your chosen career or you may simply want to continue study in an area which interests you. Before you apply it is important to consider carefully the area and type of research you wish to undertake as this will form the basis of your application. A Dissertation Research and Thesis are original, significant contribution to the scholarly literature of an academic discipline. The research must be the work of a single author. All candidates for the Master or Doctoral Degrees are required to submit research.

Inter-University Programs Department is responsible for approving the general format of the thesis, including the style to be followed in footnotes, bibliographies, tables, chapter headings, and similar matters, all these is dully specified in the:

Duration of StudyIf studying full-time by Research off-campus, the recommended period of research for a Executive MBA is 1 year, for Master of Sciences or Master of Arts is 2 years and a PhD, DBA or Professional Doctorate 3 years.

In addition, students may take up to 1 additional year to complete the writing up and thesis submission process.

There are conditions attached to students based on research degree, one of which is that a student must have current background in the field of study, preferably working in the field, and graduate credits in Research Methods Course plus any other commitments agreed between the Student and School.

A graduate research degree provides a unique opportunity to follow your interest in an area of research, to focus on this for several years and make an important contribution to the development of your chosen research area.

The focus is on your capacity for innovative, independent research, critical thinking, time and project management and problem-solving. You will also need to have, or to develop, excellent skills of organization and communication of information.

Fully complete and duly sign the application form for admissions.

Copies of all diploma, academic degrees, certificates and credentials awarded or issued by accredited or recognised colleges, universities, postsecondary institutions of education. Copies of all previous studies (transcripts, diploma supplement). All applicants are required to provide a resume or CV.

If applying to graduate and postgraduate an interview shall be expected,while interviews aren't a required component of all applications, be prepared for the possibility.

Applications are assessed on the basis of their academic fitness and general suitability to undertake research, and the relevance of their previous studies and experience to the proposed research topic.

After Your Acceptance and Registration

A few days before the start students will be mailed a welcome letter explaining procedures to your course.

Some faculty may send you additional information, but your guidance will be located within your Admissions Portfolio.

You will also receive your Student ID number, and your personal study plan.

Record this ID in a safe place, and keep it secure, this will be also your access to the Student Verifications interface and control number for future proceedings.
