Town Manager’s Report Period: January 19, 2016– February 15, 2016 Submitted By: J. Scott Chase, TM 1. Public Safety Building Update – All items have now been completed and open house is scheduled for March 10 at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. 2. Old Town Hall Update – Contracts have been signed for the roof and gutter work. Bids have been received regarding HVAC work and will commence in the coming days. The work will include removal of the HVAC system infrastructure in the center of campus (unsightly) where development of a courtyard can occur. 3. New Town Planner to start March 7 – Andrea Correll, AICP will begin her role as Town Planner on March 7. Andrea is relocating to the area from Oxford, Mississippi where she presently serves as Oxford’s Planning Director. Prior, Andrea served as the Planning Director at Pinehurst, NC for 12 years. We welcome Andrea’s 30 years of planning experience to Swansboro. 4.
