TOURISM TRAINING WORKSHOP
PNGTPA and PNGTIA are organizing training for tourism industry members who operate tourism businesses in PNG. As technology improves with introduction of new products and business concepts, PNG has to keep pace with the rest of the world. Online Marketing and sales are taking precedence of over traditional means of marketing products and service. A lot more travelers are researching online and make bookings for their holiday destination hence, some of the important topics to be delivered will be helpful to those who attend. Training is necessary to educate, create awareness and inform the industry players and operators of the changes and to help them to integrate the changes into their organizations. This year the United Nations World Tourism Organization
(UNWTO) theme for World Tourism Day 2016 is “Tourism for
All – Promoting Universal Accessibility”.
PNG TPA embraces the theme and will observe through
organizing various activities in September.
