If you forgot to send your School Photo envelope back, do not stress, your child will receive his/her ’proof’ shot which families are able to order from. EDUCATION WEEK We enjoyed a number of special events last week although really every week is Education week at Toora Primary School! On Monday we held a very special assembly to present our 2011 Leadership team with their badges. Wednesday our Grade 5/6 Choir visited the Prom View Lodge. Thursday all students took part in a special Soup & Roll recess, followed by a student led Disco at lunchtime organised by AGNES House students. On Friday we celebrated the end of Education Week with the running of our Cross Country event. All in all a very successful, albeit busy week.

South Gippsland Secondary College presents….. GRADE 6 INFORMATION EVENING We know how it is…….. You’re nearly halfway through Grade six and your thoughts are turning to the Year 2012. Its not the likelihood of Geelong winning another AFL Grand Final that’s got you thinking, it’s the prospect of life after Primary School (there’s life after primary school?) that occupies your mind. Don’t panic! The answers to your questions are close at hand. Just tell your folks that the family needs to be at the College Music Centre at 7:30pm on Tuesday June 7th. Once there you’ll find:

A variety of activities where you can actually experience the sorts of things done by students at our school

Smiling students and teachers on hand to answer any questions you may have about the College and its programs

A tour of the College for the Mums and Dads

A presentation by the year 7 Ambassadors

A scrumptious supper at the evenings conclusion

If you have any queries please contact the Transition Coordinators: Nic Ryan, Daryl Callcott or Amy Knee on
