Monthly Sponsored Monday Night Magic On the third Monday night of each month, starting on Monday, September 20 th , the OMS will sponsor an event entitled Monday Night Magic at The Cross Training Center (5030 N. 72 nd Street) in Omaha. Each event will have one of the club’s featured performers, a learn-a-trick section, and another ever-changing twenty-minute component. Some events will encourage family attendance. Events will last from 7-8 PM with the exception of lectures and the three cross pollination events which will last from 7-8:30 PM. 15X15 Funding Initiative In light of the board not wishing to raise our annual membership fee from $20 per year, a challenge will be extended in November 2021 to find 15 members who’ll commit $15 per month for a year to cover the club’s on- going monthly operating expenses as seen below.

Here are my recommended OMS 2022 projects and initiatives

Monthly Sponsored Monday Night Magic

On the third Monday night of each month starting on Monday September 20th the OMS will sponsor an event entitled Monday Night Magic at The Cross Training Center (5030 N 72nd Street) in Omaha

Each event will have one of the clubrsquos featured performers a learn-a-trick section and another ever-changing twenty-minute component Some events will encourage family attendance

Events will last from 7-8 PM with the exception of lectures and the three cross pollination events which will last from 7-830 PM

15X15 Funding Initiative

In light of the board not wishing to raise our annual membership fee from $20 per year a challenge will be extended in November 2021 to find 15 members whorsquoll commit $15 per month for a year to cover the clubrsquos on-going monthly operating expenses as seen below

Hall Rental - $50 My Emma Database - $45 OMS Website - $27 Newsletter - $30 Vimeo Video Library - $20 Zoom - $30 (2 licenses) Online Membership Directory - $790 Non-Profit Association Of The Midlands - $400 Quick Books Subscription - $625 TOTAL - $218 per month Please note Although our Junior Magicians program is self-supporting through fees paid by students donations for individual scholarships are always encouraged so others who canrsquot afford the fee can still participate Those individual scholarships are $65 Magic In The Libraries

In 2022 the goal is to have a copy of Mark Wilsonrsquos Complete Course in Magic in every public library as well as every parochial and public elementary school in the Lincoln and Omaha Metro areas This will entail placement of the book at 160+ libraries

Although the books cost an average of $10 apiece the manpower to make contact and successfully deliver these books will be significant

First Family Magic Night Four Week Class Series Completed

These four-week series of classes have been designed for use in partnership with non-profit organizations in underserved communities and do not overlap with the Discover Magictrade curriculum used in the clubrsquos Young Magicianrsquos programming

NAM Guidelines and Principles Certification Process Completed

All significant grants awarded by foundations in the Omaha area require that the 501C3 be certified by the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands through their Guidelines and Principles Certification Process

First Family Magic Night Grant Awarded
