I. INTRODUCTION

The Configuration and Setup Procedures will ensure that VirTra Systems Simulator hardware and software con-forms to the applicable specifications and provides acceptable end item workmanship and quality for delivery. The procedures will be conducted at VirTra System prior to leaving the dock for delivery.

The procedures are broken down into the following categories, grouped by the timing requirements as well as processes need pre and post procedure.

• Initial Configuration and setup procedure –These are the specific procedures necessary to configure the master and cluster computers for the first time• Post Setup Checklist –These are the specific procedures necessary to place the correct software on the system as well as the setup for the projector and cameras.

Rules for the Configuration and Setup Procedures

These procedures are intended to be conducted in the order they appear in this document. In the interests of time efficiency, every attempt has been made to arrange procedures in a sequence that provides an efficient procedural flow of events.

If an equipment malfunction occurs during a test, repairs will be made and procedures repeated to the extent nec-essary. In the event of a malfunction, the malfunctioning item will be removed and replaced and the procedure will be repeated. Previously completed procedures will not be repeated in the event of equipment malfunctions unless requested by the customer.

A weapon failure shall not constitute a system failure and therefore will not preclude acceptance of the system provided the successful completion of these procedures. If an individual weapon malfunctions during performance of these tests, it will be tagged accordingly and/or repaired/replaced as necessary.

Documentation Requirements

Any employee, regardless of title, involved with the configuration / testing of a VirTra Systems simulator will be required to initial process steps as well as sign off on this Quality Assurance document stating they have followed procedures and system is functioning properly. Employees failing to follow the configuration process as written in this manual, or initialing process steps that were not completed, will be disciplined and written documentation placed in their file.
