To ensure that you have a pleasant experience please follow a few simple rules which

are nothing new and are standard throughout the world. If you are unsure of something

please ask for clarification, never assume!

• Remember a quote is a not a confirmation and that stock cannot be guaranteed unless you receive a confirmation in

writing.

• Please do not make a payment into our account and expect your order to be confirmed, we must receive written

confirmation of your order, preferable by e-mail.

• As with airlines and car rentals world wide, you need to ensure you check your quote, confirmation. Once you accept

a quote and confirm we cannot be held responsible for incorrect information. It is always best to double check and

ensure that everything is listed that you ordered.

• We love our furniture and we would ask you that you treat it as you would treat your own.

• We do not like charging clients for damages or losses, but in order for us to maintain our standard and sustainability

(big word but necessary) if furniture is not returned in the same condition as it was received from us, we will have to

repair and maintain it. We need to charge the person or company responsible as we have no control over the furniture

once it has left our possession.

• Therefore please always ensure you check the furniture when receiving it. Once you have taken it you or your

company is responsible for all damages & losses. This is what they call common law and it is no different anywhere in

the world.

• We prefer not to get into discussions and waste your time about how items where damaged whilst in your hands. We

would not be present and we would therefore not be able to explain this. Unfortunately we are not able to afford

physic people so we are not qualified to advise you how the furniture was damaged whilst in your possession. If you are

concerned that you will not be able to explain damages and losses we will gladly rent out one of our staff members to

stay with the furniture at all times.

• We therefore apply a basic principle, return the furniture in the same condition as you received it.

• Most people that collect furniture from us either do so as they believe they will save money or we are too busy to

deliver and collect.

• We have found that we charge more often for damages when clients collect our stock and it ends up costing you more

money than if we would deliver.

• If you are collecting and transporting the furniture make sure you have the correct size vehicle. Bean Bags take up a

lot of space for example. I have seen a person arrive in a BMW sedan to collect 10 Bean Bags. The most we have

managed is 4.

• I would suggest you always check with one of our consultants before collecting stock to find out if your vehicle is

adequate for transporting the furniture that you require.

• Ensure you have blankets or packaging and most important ropes or straps to tie the furniture.

• Be careful not to tie the furniture too tight, especially when using straps

• Take care when packing the furniture, if you pack it incorrectly no matter how much protection you use, you may

damage it. Speak to our staff if you are not certain

• Do not drag the furniture, pick it up and move, please keep an eye on other people who believe the only way to move

furniture is to drag it

• If hiring umbrellas, always close them and lay them down if a storm is approaching or if there is heavy wind. We

recommend that you always do so once the function is finished as this will prevent any damage

• Do not leave furniture out in the open, water unfortunately damages most furniture and we will have to in most cases

charge for replacement

• When renting carpet runners please advise people not to smoke on them and have ashtrays available. These are

expensive and we will need to sell this to you if there are burn marks

• Most important check for damages with receiving or collecting the furniture, everyone makes mistakes
