When traveling I love collecting memorabilia of my experiences along the way. I made this Travel Folio to bring with me on vacations so I have a lovely and safe place to keep my ephemera collection. It’s a great way to keep treasures organized, easily accessible and to keep them from getting lost. The top layer with GooseBumps strengthens the card stock and creates a water resistant coating. Make it personal by using a map of your home state. Create another folio to fit in the glove compartment of your car to hold the auto papers and manual. This Travel Folio would make an affordable and unique gift too!

Step 9 Place Labels Twenty die template over stamped bird so that there are even spaces on the edges, cut with Grand Calibur.

Step 10 Trim flower images to size. Decide on flower placement on front of Flap using bird die cut so that flowers will peek out from behind bird die cut. Using a foam brush paint Creative Medium onto Flap where you want to place napkin flowers on Flap front. Gently press flowers to Flap pressing out all air bubbles and making sure every part is completely adhered to surface. Coat with one layer of Creative Medium. Let dry.

Step 9 Glue bird die cut to center front of Flap overlapping flowers and with bottom scallop matching center scallop of border.

Step 10 The Closure: Using crochet cotton thread, stitch buttons to center front of Flap and Folio. Tie and knot a strand of crochet cotton thread to Folio button at the shaft, trim knot end and cut length to 8” from button. Use glue to seal end of thread. To use closure, wrap thread in a figure-eight around upper button then lower button, allowing a few inches of end to hang loose.
