Garett Steele Hancock, age 18, of Frisco, Texas passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015. Although he grew up inAlexander City, Alabama, Garett was currently a senior at Frisco High School.

Garett was an amazing young man. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving, giving, sensitive, free spirited anddetermined young man who lived in the moment. He loved his car, travelling, being on the lake, hiking in Seattle andbeing challenged by the countless projects he undertook.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine Hancock and fiancé, Paul Sartore of Frisco, Texas; father, Floyd Hancock ofAlexander City, Alabama; siblings, Sidney Anne Hancock of Auburn, Alabama, Jaclyn, Hannah and Jonathan Sartore ofFrisco, Texas; grandparents, Maureen and Dave Milner of Bristol, England, Floyd and Barbara Hancock of Bellevue,Washington and Eugene and Marilyn Sartore of Frisco, Texas; Aunts and Uncles, numerous cousins and a host offriends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Children’s Harbor Chapel at Lake Martin, located at 1 Our Children’s Highway,Alexander City, Alabama on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. with a reception being held immediately afterwards.

Garett’s life journey was a blessing to us and your love and support is a blessing to his family.
