Timeframe 2 concerns mainly Jews right after timeframe 1 (rise of Antichrist). In timeframe 2 Israel is invaded, many Jews die and flee to Egypt - all hope gone. God brings Jews to repentance toward Jehovah in Egypt. The Ark of the Covenant reappears. Jews come out of Egypt regaining their land and even more. In the process destroying the Dome of the rock for payback. Ark on Mount Zion signals all Jews from all nations to return to Israel bring about the mass return. Jews make plan to rebuild temple. No repentance toward Christ at this time. Daniel’s 70th week after rapture will accomplish this.

Before study of events in timeframe 2 it is important to review and answer a few questions

Does Antichrist play a major role? What is the time element for events of timeframe 2Events of timeframe 2 cause Jews to repent toward Jehovah God but why not Christ as their Messiah at this time?A review of blessings and curses as outlined in Deuteronomy and Leviticus by Moses that explains exactly their past historyWhy will the Jews return to Egypt?

Page 4: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In the study of timeframe 1 – rise of Antichrist and his empire we talked of each prophet had his own name for Antichrist. Daniel - 'the little horn'; Isaiah 'the Assyrian' (Isaiah 10); Paul - 'the man of sin' ( 2 Thessolonians 2); John in Revelations 13 - 'the beast‘; Habakkuk 1- 'the  Chaldean'. We also looked at why God allowed Antichrist and his demonic forces to come to power and quoted Hab 1:12 that he will be used for correction.

Hab 1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

After Antichrist’s rise to power before the rapture he will play a major role in the prophecies of the mass return. However, as much as he things he is running the show God is the one using him to drive the Jews back to Him and prepare Mount Zion for His glorious reign over the Kingdom of Israel and the Gentile nations. Events of the mass return before the rapture are a part of that process. Before the rapture God

The role of Antichrist in timefame 2 – mass return

Isaiah 10:24-27 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. 26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. 27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Isaiah 10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

brings the Jews back in Covenant with Him from all nations with the Ark on Mount Zion. After the rapture, it will take Daniel’s 70th week to bring the nation to Christ (Kingdom).

Page 6: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 38:8-14 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon

First, post-rapture Israel and Jerusalem - Ezekiel 38 as Antichrist invades in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week.

The pre-rapture time element of events fulfilled in timeframe 2 - the mass return,

Page 7: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon thepeople that are gathered out of the nations, which havegotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

• gathered out of many people

• all villages without walls, bars, gates

• land that is brought back from the sword

• rich in cattle, goods, silver, gold, and a great spoil (oil?)• they are all dwelling safely – all of them

• places that were made desolate now inhabited

Today, Israel has built long walls to protect itself. Constantly at war and on guard every day against attacks from its enemies. No sane person will say they are dwelling safely. The question is – when was Israel put to the sword and their land made desolate before the events of Ezek 38.

Page 8: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The answer will be the pre-rapture events of timeframe 2. For now let us quote Ezekiel 35:5 and Obadiah 1:10-14 that narrows the time element further. In Ezekiel 35:5 God is speaking to Mount Seir which is the house of Esau – Arabs. Ezekiel 35 will be studied fully in timeframe 2 – phase 2 of the mass return.

Ezekiel 35:55 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

Notice Israel is put to the sword in a time that their iniquity had an end. Time of iniquity that Israel served ended in 1948 A.D. when Israel became a nation after 2500 years of Gentile servitude prophesized by Ezekiel. This time of putting Israel to the sword by its enemies is after 1948 A.D. and called ‘time of their calamity’.

Now we want to look at Obadiah 1:10-14 where God is addressing brother of Jacob which is Esau – who is the father of Arabs and narrow our time element even further.

Page 9: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Obadiah 1:10-14 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. 11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. 13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; 14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

Page 10: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Notice vs 13 ‘Day of their Calamity’ – same time elements as Ezek 35:5. We saw Ezek 35:5 put the ‘Day of their calamity’ after their ‘time of iniquity’ had ended (1948 A.D.). Now Obadiah 1:15 says the Day of the Lord is near and in that day God will do to the Arabs what they have done to the Jews in their ‘Day of calamity’ when they put Israel to the sword.

Daniel’s 70th week is the same time period as Day of the Lord. To allow for all the events of mass return which would include ‘Day of Calamity’ to run their course and produce Israel dwelling safely and without walls, bars, gates, and rich in cattle, goods, silver, gold, and a great spoil (oil?) as told us in Ezek 38,39 this will take some time and could only happen before the rapture and not after.

Page 11: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 12: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

That is, when the Church Age ends God will deal with the nation of Israel to bring them to call upon Him and He will appear to save them. However, the Church age ends 3 ½ years after the rapture that is, at the end of the great 3 ½ year Christian Tribulation period when the tribulation martyrs are resurrected as part of the first resurrection, pefecting the bride of Christ, bringing the Church age to a close . Then

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Since Israel has been a nation since 1948 AD there remains many Jews still scattered among many nations to this day. God is not going to deal with nation of Israel to bring them to Christ till after the rapture. Two sets of scriptures will confirm this; Romans 11:25, Micah 5.,

Timeframe 2 brings Jews back to Covenant relationship with Jehovah – God of their fathers but will remain blinded to Jesus as Messiah until after the rapture and during Daniel’s 70th week

Page 13: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

follows Daniel’s 70th week the remaining 7 years when God deals with Israel to bring them to Christ. Daniel’s 69th week ended with Messiah being cut off (crucified). Between the 69th and 70th week was the Church age hidden in the OldTestament as a mystery but revealed in the New Testament.

Ephesians 3:1-6 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Paul calls the Church Age a dispensation of grace. A time when both Jews and Gentiles can be fellow heirs and of the same body (Church) and inherit all the same promises in

Page 14: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Christ. When this dispensation of grace ends, that is, whenthe Church Age ends, when God is finished bringing in the fullness of the Gentiles to complete His Church then God begins to deal with Israel again as a nation to bring themTo Christ in Daniel’s 70th week.

One more clear confirmation that God has set the Jews aside for a time before He deals with them to accept Christ is told in Book of Micah chapter 5 and confirmed in Revelations.

Page 15: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Micah 5:2-4 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out  of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been  from of old, from everlasting. 3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then  the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. 4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the  LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Micah 5:2 – the first part of these verses is well quoted every Christmas foretelling that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem as a King whose ways are from old, from everlasting indicating Jesus as also God made flesh.

Page 16: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Micah 5:2-4 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out  of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been  from of old, from everlasting. 3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then  the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children ofIsrael. 4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the  LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Micah 5:3 – ‘Therefore will he give them up’. Who was given up. The answer is the Jews. The Jews rejected the Messiah born in Bethlehem and remain blinded till this day so the Kingdom promises to Israel spoken off by the prophets were put aside for a time. The Apostle Paul puts it this way in Romans 11:25,26.

Page 17: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Romans 11:25,26 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: Continuing with Micah 5:3 we see that Micah confirms the Jews being given up only for a time. Given up as far as God dealing with them to accept Christ as their Messiah. God is now using the Gospel to bring both Jews and Gentiles into the Kingdom of God and making them part of the Church – future rulers as priests and kings when Christ sets up His Kingdom. God will deal with the nation of Israel to return to Christ in earnest after the Church age is over.

Page 18: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Micah 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then  the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children ofIsrael.  Micah confirms the Church age by saying the Jews will be given up ‘until’ the time the ‘she’ which travaileth hath brought forth. Who is ‘she’? The answer is the Church. When is her time to travail to bring forth. The answer is found in Rev 12 in the story of the sun clothed woman that travailed and brought a ‘manchild’ who was caught up to God’s throne.

Rev 12:1-5 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 5 And she brought forth a manchild, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Page 19: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Rev 12:1-5 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 5 And she brought forth a manchild, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

A study of Rev 12:1-5 when interpreted correctly is the woman is the Church. Within the Church both the good wheat and bad wheat; good fish and bad fish; foolish virgins and the wise (parables of Jesus – Matt 13,25). The Child within the woman represents the good seed within the professing Church. The rapture is approaching in which the Child (the good seed) will be caught up (raptured) to meet the Lord. The remainder of Rev 12 tells us what happens to the woman (church left behind composed of bad or unsaved seed goes into the great 3 ½ year tribulation period).

Page 20: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Micah 5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then  the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.   The remainder of Micah 5:3 says that a remnant of his brethren (clearly speaking of the Jews – brethren related to Jesus – the one born in Bethlehem) shall return to the Children of Israel. Who is this remnant that will be a witness to Israel after the Church age? We are not disappointed by scripture for we read in Rev 7:4-8 of the 144,000 saved Jews. Notice Rev 7 in chart above is fulfilled right at the end of the Church age.

Page 21: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Rev 7:4-8 (angels sent from heaven to seal) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

Rev 14:1-5 (144,000 as seen of earth) 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many

Page 22: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.1  5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Page 23: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Micah 5:2-4 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out  of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been  from of old, from everlasting.

Micah now ends by saying that ‘he’ (one born in Bethlehem’) shall stand and feed the nations and will be great unto the ends of the earth. This then is clearly a Messianic prophecy fulfilled when Christ returns. To sum up Micah 5:2:4 we have the birth of Messiah in Bethlehem; his rejection by His brethren causing them to be given up (Kingdom promises put aside) until the Church age

Page 24: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

runs it’s course and the rapture has taken place. Then the 144,000 (firstfruits of Israel to turn to Christ) will be a witness to the children of Israel. Christ returns and all Israel will be saved and Christ’s name will be great unto the ends of the earth (Millennium).

Page 25: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Before we study phase 1 of timeframe 2 of the mass return, it is good to review history of Jews based on God’s prophetic Covenant Word spoken beforehand by Moses. Mosaic Covenant tells us God’s blessings on Jews based on obedience and curses based on disobedience. Blessings and curses as outlined by Moses in Deut 28 and Lev 26

Blessings from the days of Joshua reaching their height in days of David and Solomon.

Blessings and Curses spoken by Moses

Page 26: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Deut 1-13 (blessings) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.  5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Page 27: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Page 28: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Lev 26:1-13 (blessings) Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. 2 Ye shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. 3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Page 29: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. 10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new. 11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. 12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people. 13 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

Above is a chart concerning the history of 12 tribes of Israel after the came out of Egypt under Joshua. Sin and disobedience brought about the Assyrian captivity in 721 B.C followed by the Babylonian captivity 606 B.C. - 586 B.C resulting in the 70 year exile in which the land rested with all 12 tribes now scattered. The curses that covered this period of time of Jewish history for disobedience can be found in Duet 28 and Lev 26.

Page 33: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Deuteronomy 68:14-64 (curses) 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.20 The Lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until

thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because ofthe wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.21 The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. 22 The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.24 The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall itcome down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.25 The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.26 And thy carcass shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

Page 35: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

27 The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and withthe emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.

Page 36: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall a nationwhich thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed away:34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.35 The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.36 The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee.38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. 39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

Page 37: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt notenjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from

the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nationwhose tongue thou shalt not understand;50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard theperson of the old, nor shew favour to the young: 51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his

Page 39: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,57 And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written

Page 40: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, 62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

Leviticus 26:14-46 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

Page 42: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your

images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savoir of your sweet odours.32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her Sabbaths.35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your Sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. 36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to

stand before your enemies.38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

From the 70 yr captivity to Antichrist’s Empire over 2500 years later

When you read Deut 68:65-67 think of pictures of the holocaust that occurred during Hitler's reign and startling accuracy of Moses' prophetic outline of Jewish history.

Deut 68: 63-67  63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. 64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

Page 45: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: 66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: 67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! For the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

Scattered Jews are to return to Egypt - why! Moses final words of Deut 28. Verse 68

Page 47: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Moses says the Jews that are still scattered among the nations for over 2500 years will return to Egypt by ships. They are not coming from Israel to Egypt by ship because you would normally do that by land. They are coming from nations where they have been scattered for over 2500 years that began first with the Assyrian captivity in 721 B.C. and the Babylonian captivity began in 606 B.C. and those scattered when Herod’s temple was destroyed by the Roman s under Titus in 70 A.D.

68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships

This is the Lord’s doing. Many have the understanding that after the Jews have been scattered for over 2500 years that God will bring them back to land of Israel not Egypt and they are correct but Egypt first. But why. Ezek 20:33-38 answers the question

Egypt plays a very important role in timeframe 2 – mass return

Page 48: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 20:33-38 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezek 20:33-38 is covered much more in detail in timeframe 2 phase 3, this verse provides a basic outline for what God says He wants to do as part of the process of the mass return.

Page 49: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God is going to bring them out of the nations where they have been scattered but this will take His fury poured out

God is going to bring them into the wilderness of the people. This wilderness is the wilderness of Egypt. Called the wilderness of the people because this is where they are gathered together. Most likely near the ancient land of Goshen because they have to cross the Red Sea again as we shall see.

God says that He lives, and states His goal. He will rule over them and He will use His fury to do it.

There, in the wilderness, God is going to plead with them face to face as He did in the days of Moses when they wandered for 40 years

Cause the Jews to pass under the rod is likened to a shepherd who would count his sheep as they came in or out of the fold. If one is lost he would seek it out. The fold will be those that repent and turn to God - the God of their fathers - Jehovah.

Page 50: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God will bring them into the bond of the Covenant. The Jews that repent in the fold will says that He lives, and states His goal. He will rule over them and He will use His fury to do it. This Covenant  would be the Mosaic covenant which was conditional in that it required obedience for the Jews to keep their land (Deut 29:12,13).

Lastly, the ones that rebel will die in the wilderness and enter the land of Israel. The repentant fold will come out of Egypt a second time (first was under Moses) and will come back into their land in Covenant with God.

Deut 29:12,1312 That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the Lord thy God, and into his oath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day:13 That he may establish thee today for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Page 51: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 11:15,16 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Zechariah 10:10-12 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

Each prophet had his own name for Antichrist. There is no Assyrian Empire today but Antichrist’s Empire is referred to as the Assyrians

Page 52: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

There are many more prophecies concerning how God is going to bring the Jews out from all the nations and cause them to repent and bring them back into a Covenant relationship as God did with their fathers. Timeframe 2 – mass return covers them all. The main players in the mass return are: Antichrist – see timeframe 1 Daniel 8 Antichrist will be used as a rod of correction and God will use him to fulfill the fury God will pour out (Ezek 30:33,34)

• Wilderness of Egypt

Arab/Israeli crisis over who owns the land and Jerusalam

Foreign forces – could be from UN overseeing Palestinian statehood

Ethiopia – where the Ark of the Covenant reappears with demonstration of God’s power. It is then given to Jews in Egypt once they repent as confirmation of bond of Covenant Mount Zion – When the Jews come out of Egypt a second time by the power of God, the Ark will be placed on Mount Zion. This is a signal to all remaining Jews worldwide to come

Page 55: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Phase 1: The story of the mass return begins with Moses' own words in Deut 28:68 and the requirement of repentance as stated in Deut 30:1-5 for God to bring their deliveranceDeut 28:68 68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. Deut 30:1-5 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have

set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.Deuteronomy 1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

Page 57: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

We studied Deut 28:1-67 where Moses outlined the whole future history of Israel's blessings and curses before they ever entered the promised land . Historically, we are now in the very last stage of Moses's prophetic words recorded in Deut 28 with only one verse left to be fulfilled - Deut 28:68. Moses makes an amazing statement saying that their worldwide dispersion starts to come to an end when the Jews will return by ships to Egypt! There they will try to sell

Page 58: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

From early part of the 20th century and after Israel became

a nation in 1948 A.D. (see x – chart) and Jews recapturing Jerusalem in 1967 A.D. and on into the 21st century, there

themselves as slaves and no man will buy them. This has not happened yet but will be fulfilled in phase 1 of timeframe 2.

Page 59: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

has been a partial return of Jews to Israel and ongoing struggles with the surrounding Arab nations for control of their land and Jerusalem. May 14, 1948 and the 1967 recapture of Jerusalem signified the end of Ezekiel’s 2,520 ‘time of iniquity’ for past iniquities and transgressions for the Jews (see Ezekiel 4 study),. Having served their ‘time of iniquity’ in which the land was under Gentile servitude and Jerusalem, God now is watching over His land because of His Covenant with Abraham. God has allowed a partial return of

Page 60: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

the Jews to prepare the land for the mass return of the Jews from all nations. The mass return cannot take place however until the Jews come into the bond of the Mosaic Covenant which demands obedience to God’s laws as spoken by Moses. This return to Egypt by ships from other nations and trying to sell themselves as slaves and no one buying them is part of Gods fury being poured out to force them into the bond of the Mosaic Covenant. After the rapture, God deals with Israel to receive Jesus as their Messiah and Lord and David their King (see study of why Jews remain blinded to Christ till after the Church Age ends). These Jews are not coming from Israel to Egypt by ship because you would normally do that by land. They are coming from nations where they have been scattered for over 2500 years. A result of Assyrian captivity in 721 B.C. and the Babylonian captivity began in 606 B.C.. Those that did return after the 70 year exile were scattered in the Roman invasion of Jerusalem by Titus in 70 A.D.. They destroyed the temple and sanctuary that Jesus prophesized would happen

Mt 24:1-2And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his

Page 61: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Page 62: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 63: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Moses was clearly speaking these prophetic words to a future generation for he says to those that were present with him these great prophetic words that they (ones physically present listening to Moses) would never see Egypt again. We read in Exodus 14:13

Deut 28:68 68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Exodus 14:1313 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Page 64: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Deut 28:68 68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Moses then, in Deut 28:68, was talking about a future time in which having been scattered among all nations for over 2500 years would again return to Egypt. What would cause all these nations to ship Jews back to Egypt in that future day? There is only one person that stands out that will surely be behind this and that is Antichrist. Hitler's final solution was to exterminate the Jews in ovens and mass killings. Antichrist's plan will be of a worldwide nature to have the Jews die off in the deserts of Egypt and at the same time have their land fall into the hands of their enemies. This time of trouble is Israel’s ‘Day of Calamity’ which we will study in (phase 2). Prior to these events, Antichrist has already deceived the world, formed his empire, and is in control of most of the economy of the world (time frame 1). Now Antichrist being the valiant man and great peacemaker that he says he is, must deal with the Middle East . It may be that in the beginning he has

Page 65: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Trouble with his dealings with Egypt. Egypt could already be part of a treaty with Israel allowing Jews to live there. These Jews could be settlers that lived in Israel but had to give up land for a Palestinian state. We read in Isaiah 19:18 that in the land of Egypt five cities will speak Hebrew.

Isa 19:1818 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. These new settlements could be part of a peace process shortly before Antichrist's rise. We could see this action by Egypt as early as 2005-2006 A.D.. However, in the 'Day of Calamity'  the Egyptians will turn against the Jews terribly as we will see in phase 2 of the mass return. As I said earlier, nations that make up Antichrist's Empire may be the first ones to start deporting the Jews to Egypt. Arabs may use their oil weapon to not provide any oil to that nation or country that supports Israel's position on Jerusalem and what Arabs called occupied territory. Antichrist will play into their hands and their may be a spite action against Egypt - an Arab nation that in the beginning does not play along. We have to wait for the

Page 66: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

full events to play themselves out but they will fulfill prophecy exactly as God has spoken it through His prophets. In Daniel 11  Daniel records Antichrist having several wars with Egypt in the last days. Whatever the exact scenario is, make no doubt about the fact that what God says in His Word will come to pass. The Jews were delivered the first time out of Egypt where God made His covenant with them under Moses. Now, after their long ‘time of iniquity' has come to an end in 1948 A.D. (see Ezekiel 4 study) , they find themselves back in Egypt again because they have not turned back to Jehovah God to be in a Covenant relationship. As the 'Day of Calamity‘(phase 2) draws near, the Jews find themselves not wanted in the nations they are currently living in, and are being forced out of these nations under the most dire circumstances. Antichrist will hate the Jews from the start. His hatred will filter on down to the nations that make up his empire formed in timeframe 1. Moses tells us (Deut 28:68) when the Jews arrive in Egypt they will try to sell themselves as slaves, as bondmen and bondwomen, and no man will be interested in buying them.

Page 67: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 68: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mass Return of the JewsTimeframe 2

Phase 2

Ezek 35 God's judgments on Israel's enemies for what Israel suffers in the 'Day of Calamity'. Ezek 36 God prophesizes to the land of Israel to get ready for the mass return of all Jews scattered and victories over their enemies.. Ezek 37 God says that He is going to resurrect the slain House of Israel and put His Spirit in them. Their stood up an exceeding great army as part of mass return process.

Page 69: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In our previous study of Phase 1 the Jews were being arriving in Egypt by ships (Deut 28:68) and even try to sell themselves as slaves and no one would buy them. This situation from Gentile nations will go on possibly for several months or longer before  'Time of calamity ' (Ezekiel 35:5) or called 'Day of calamity'(Obadiah 1:13) or  'Day of distress' (Obadiah 1:14) comes upon the Jews living in the land of

Page 70: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Obadiah 1:13,1413 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

Israel. This is when the nations surrounding Israel will takeover their land and attempt to rid the world once and for all of the Jews as a people and a nation.

Ezekiel 35:55 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

Page 71: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

This time of trouble called their 'Day of calamity' is phase 2 of the mass return. This 'Day of calamity' comes after 2,520 years 'time of iniquity' (Ezekiel 35:5, Ezekiel 4 ) had come to an end which happened in 1948 A.D. and finalized in 1967 when Jerusalem was recaptured from Gentiles. Between 1967 A.D.and 200? A.D. God has been working with the land and preparing for events connected with the mass return to bring the Jews to repentance - first back to Jehovah and then after

Page 72: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

the rapture to repent toward Christ and accept Him as Messiah. Repentance toward Christ will take another series of prophecies connected with Daniel's 70 week (chart).  God speaks through Ezekiel, Obadiah and David and says why and what punishments He is going to pour out upon the enemies of Israel for what they do in the 'Day of calamity'.  Israel's cities and land will be made most desolate by the nations that surround them. Ezekiel 35, 36 and Obadiah 1 tell the main story. The many Jews that flee are put to the sword and many that escape have only one place to go-

Page 73: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Egypt! They will join those Jews already in Egypt which arrived by ship (Deut 28:68 phase 1).

Deut 28:6868 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Page 74: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

'Day of Calamity' sees Israel's enemies casting lots for who owns Jerusalem and celebrating their victories on the mountains of Israel. However, God has spoken through Ezekiel 35 that He is alive and watching and tells Ezekiel what He is going to do about the situation.Ezekiel 35:1-151 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. 4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

Page 75: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: 6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. 7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth. 8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword. 9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there: 11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. 12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have

Page 76: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. 13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them. 14 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. 15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Page 77: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 35:2 Son of man, set thy face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

Deut 2:1-51 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed Mount Seir many days.2 And the Lord spake unto me, saying,3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given Mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

Ezekiel identifies the enemies of Israel in this chapter as Mount Seir - the house of Esau - the Arabs. We read in Deut 2:1-5 and Gen 36:8

Page 78: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 79: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Genesis 36:88 Thus dwelt Esau in Mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

Genesis 16:1-121 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram

Arabs are descendents of a marriage between Esau the brother of Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. Esau married one of Ishmael's daughters (Gen 28:9).

Genesis 28:99 Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

Ishmael was the firstborn of Abraham and his Egyptian handmaid Hagar (Genesis 16). The children of Esau from Seir fathered the Arab nations.

Page 80: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai, Abram's wife, took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. 5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. 6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. 7 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. 8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. 9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself 10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy

Page 81: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. 11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. 12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. Genesis 25:12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah: 16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

Page 82: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God has certainly made promises to the sons of Ishmael who have become the Arabs. Over 4000 years the Arab nations have been blessed. Arabs control 3 million square miles on planet earth and 2/3 of the oil resources that have made many rich and prosperous.

Page 83: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In direct proportion to land size of Arab countries here is a picture of current size of Israel that the Arabs want for themselves but God gave it to the childrenof Abraham Issac and Jacob and the seed of the children of Israel (God changed Jacob’s name to Israel).

Israel

Page 84: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 35:3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. God goes on to say that He is against those Arab nations that have made war against Israel. God is going to do to those Arab nations what they have done to Israel in the 'Day of calamity'. God is going to make their land most desolate and lay their cities waste and when this happens they will know that this is the Lord's doing. Listen to what Obadiah says in Obadiah 1:1 and David in Psalm 83:1-8.

Page 85: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Obadiah 1:1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumor from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Psalm 83:1-8 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Page 86: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

From these verses we see that the enemies of Israel are having secret consultations. An ambassador (an important representative) is moving between them to get them to agree with one consent to cut off Israel. Not only from being a nation; but do so much damage to her that she cannot ever rebuild and be in remembrance again. They take crafty counsel with each other and lift up their heads to be proud conquerors and possessors of a land they claim as theirs.

Page 87: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Obadiah 1:6-9 How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.8 Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?9 And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the Mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter. How are the things of Esau sought up (Oba 1:6). The Arabs have oil coming up from the ground and the world seeks that oil daily. Both Oba 1:7 and Psalm 83:5 talk of these nations bordering the very land of Israel and being confederate with one another and with one consent to destroy Israel forevermore. The only country to make peace with Israel was Egypt under Anwar Sadat. Obadiah 1:7 says that they that ate their bread and were at peace with Israel have now practiced deception and planned with the others to trap and

Page 88: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Israel. God speaks out to Edom and Esau and warns them that the day is coming when they will be destroyed by slaughter. God through Ezekiel 35 gives two reasons why these nations will face such great judgments

Ezek 35:5-9 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: since thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.7 Thus will I make Mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.Obadiah 1:10-15 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off forever.

First reason

Page 89: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, andcast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that didescape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.15 For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Page 90: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The first reason God is going to bring all these events upon those Arab nations involved is their perpetual hatred for the Jews. Esau hated his brother Jacob and so the family feud has existed on down through the centuries between the children of Esau (Arabs) and Israel (children of Jacob). We read about Jacob and Esau in Genesis 27:41

Genesis 27:4141 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

God says that not only has their hatred being perpetual, but in their 'Day of calamity' when no nation wanted them, the Arab nations attacked by the force of the sword (Israel overwhelmed by their weapons) resulting in much bloodshed and loss of life (phase 2). What is key here about this war (because their have been several wars between Arabs and Jews in the past), is that God says this invasion comes at a time when their 'time of iniquity' (Ezek 35:5) had ended but before the 'Day of the Lord' is at an end (Obadiah 1:15).

Page 91: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

This 'time of iniquity' (see Ezekiel 4 study) – ended when when land of Israel ended it’s servitude to the Gentiles in 1948 A.D. followed by Jerusalem capitol in 1967 A.D.. The Day of the Lord is after the rapture. After the rapture Antichrist confirms a covenant with Israel for 7 years but that happens during the Day of the Lord and is known as Daniel's 70th week (chart). This has nothing to do with events of the 'Day of Calamity' that happens before the rapture in events connected with the mass return (timeframe 2 – current study). Ezekiel puts these events before the rapture but after 1967 A.D.. I believe from 1967 to 200? A.D. God has been

Page 92: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

preparing the land for events connected with the mass return. Antichrist, having formed his empire (timeframe 1), shortly after, turns his attention on the Middle East and the Jews. This is when events connected with the 'Day of Calamity' and Mass return (timeframe2) really get under way.  The Jews have suffered at the hands of the Gentiles long enough over all those centuries, and God is saying enough is enough for their past iniquity. They have served their 'time of iniquity' which is now ended and now the world is fighting God. God is perfectly within His divine right to step in to try and bring them back into a covenant relationship with Him. God wants to honor His covenant made to Abraham, Isaac and

Page 93: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jacob and obedience to Jehovah God is necessary fro blessings. God goes on to say to the Arabs, that He is going to prepare them unto blood and blood shall pursue them, because, when they attacked Israel they did not hate shedding Israel's blood. When the Jews were fleeing out of Israel they were there waiting to shed their blood by the sword and so God says this will happen to them. The Arab nations will be made most desolate and their slain will fill the mountains, hills, valleys, all their rivers, and their cities will not be rebuilt and their land perpetual desolation's, and they will know this is the Lord's doing

Page 94: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 35:10-15 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will

Second reason

Page 95: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.12 And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.14 Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O Mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Obadiah 1:15,1615 For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Page 96: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The second reason God is going to bring all these events upon those Arab nations involved, is because, they are not content with settling with Israel over having part of the land but they want all of it. These two nations and these two countries refers to the time after Solomon when Israel was divided into the northern kingdom (house of Israel -10 tribes) and southern kingdom (kingdom of Judah - 2 tribes). Today, Israel is not divided. God is simply saying that the Arabswant all the land. Even if the Arabs had their own Palestinian state and part of Jerusalem as it's capitol they will not be satisfied till they have all the land. God is speaking here. It is evident that Israel's enemies have invaded Israel during this 'Day of calamity', destroyed most of the cities and have killed many Jews but yet not in complete possession but in the process. Much more detail is added by Ezek 36 which will be the next study. Notice Ezek 35:10 that God says that He is there.

Ezek 35:10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:

Page 97: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In other words, God is now dealing with the Jews at a time when the Jews 'time of iniquity' (see Ezekiel 4 study) ended in 1948 A.D for the nation of Israel and Jerusalem it’s capitol in 1967 A.D.. God is there to see that His land falls into the right hands. During the 2520 year 'time of iniquity' God let the Gentile empires and nations rule over it but that 'time of iniquity' is now up, and now God is back in the land. The Arabs are now fighting God! God is letting their plans go so

Page 98: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

far because He is using this great pressure upon the Jews especially those in Egypt at this time (phase 1 - chart). The Jews in Egypt now see the land they worked so hard for passing into the hands of their worst enemies. The pressure upon them to seek the covenant God of their fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be enormous. For the world and especially to the enemies of Israel that say," where is the God of your fathers?", and that the Judaic/Christian God of

Page 99: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Again, God says that they will be judged with exactly the same anger, envy, and hatred they used upon Israel . God goes on to say (Ezek 35:12) that he listened to all their blasphemies when they occupied the mountains of Israel and that they were desolate and ready for them to consume for themselves. God says that in their boastings of their success (Ezek 35:13) they boasted against Him, and they multiplied their curses and blasphemies over and over again mocking the God of Israel. Gods says when the whole earth rejoices millennium), their land will be most desolate (Ezek 35:14,15) Because they rejoiced over the land of Israel that was given by God as an inheritance to the Jews (because of Abraham's faithfulness), and they have made it desolate, God says that

the bible is dead. God responds and speaks out and says the words 'As I live' (Ezek 35:11).

Ezek 35:11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

Page 100: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mount Seir (Arab countries - all of them that are involved) and Idumea (Edom) shall then know the God of the Jews - Jehovah.  Edom is confirmed clearly as the house of Esau in Genesis 36:8 Seir and Edom)

Genesis 36:88 Thus dwelt Esau in Mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

Page 101: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In the previous section of timeframe 2 - phase 2 we studied Ezekiel 35, Psalm 83 and Obadiah 1 what God is going to do to the enemies of Israel for what they did to the Jews, their cities and making their land so desolate. The current study will be Ezekiel 36. God tells the Jews what He is going to do for them. God also reviews and adds some more new detail to His reasons for judging the nations that surround Israel.

Ezek 36 God prophesizes to the land of Israel to get ready for the mass return of all Jews scattered and victories over their enemies..

Page 102: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 36:1-7 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord:2 Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God: Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say

Page 103: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:1-3 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord:2 Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God: Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:

unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

Ezekiel prophesizes to the mountains of Israel to hear the Word of the Lord

Page 104: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God tells Ezekiel to prophesy unto the mountains of Israel to hear the word of the Lord. God is honoring His covenant with Abraham when He speaks to the mountains. God gave this land to the Jews with no conditions attached because of Abraham's faithfulness.

Page 105: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Gen 12:1-3 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Gen 15:18 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Gen 17:4-8 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.  5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.  6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Page 106: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 107: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In timeframe 2 – phase 2 (Ezek 35) God has watched the enemies of Israel in the 'Day of Calamity' rejoicing over the ancient high places that they are now theirs in possession. God also has seen the land of Israel made desolate and swallowed up on every side that it become a possession of the heathen and that the enemy wants the land to be just a memory when it was in the hands of the Jews.

Page 108: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:4,5 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

God speaking through Ezekiel the prophet in Ezek 36:4,5 says

Again, God speaks in the fire of His jealousy because this is His land that was given to the seed of Abraham. God speaks to the mountains, hills, rivers, valleys, the desolate waters and forsaken cities which became a prey and derision by the heathen nations all around Israel. These nations have appointed God's land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds. To cast it out for a prey - that is- the land is up for grabs and is not a settled issue exactly who will rule it. God is saying strongly that this is His land.

Page 109: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:6,7 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.  God again speaks in His jealousy and His fury to the whole land of Israel , its mountains, hills, rivers, valleys that the land has borne the shame of the heathen long enough. For over 2500 years since the 70 year exile the land has been under Gentile dominion during the Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman, and on up to the 20th century when Israel became a nation in 1948 A.D and Jerusalem recaptured in 1967 A.D.. These events ended the prophesized 2,520 year 'time of iniquity' (see Ezekiel 4 study). Since 1967 A.D. and on into the 21st century there has been the Arab/Israel struggle over land which reaches its zenith in the 'Day of calamity' around 200? A.D.. I believe 1967-200? is a 40 year time of preparation for events concerning mass return. The nations surrounding Israel will take over the land of Israel but God

Page 110: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

says this land has been under Gentile dominion and experienced their shame long enough. The 'time of iniquity' prophesized upon the Jews has run it's course and now God is there working with the land. God is saying enough is enough besides the other reasons listed previously and that God is now going to do something about it.

Page 111: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:8,9 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:

God now speaks to the mountains of Israel that in spite of how much desolation the surrounding nations have done to the mountains that they will shoot forth their branches and

God tells the mountains of Israel to get ready to shoot forth their branches and yield fruit for the mass return of all Jews is about to take place

Page 112: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

yield fruit for the people of Israel are at hand to come - that is - mass return is about to take place from all nations. We started our study of the approaching 'Day of calamity' and the mass return with Jews coming from many Gentile nations by ship and being dumped in Egypt. (timeframe 2 - phase 1). At some point the 'Day of calamity' gets around toIsrael when it is invaded by surrounding nations (phase 2),

Page 113: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

and many of the Jews that are able to escape the sword also flee to Egypt.  Phase 3 scriptures will tell the story of how the Jews will have to repent in the wilderness of Egypt first to bring into what scripture calls the 'bond of the covenant' (Ezek 20:33-38). It is then that God cleanses them from their past sins and they now are in a covenant relationship as theirfathers were when they knew God as Jehovah. They do not receive Christ as Messiah at this time. That happens in another series of prophecies that happen after the rapture in a time period called Daniel's 70th week.

Page 114: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:10,11 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

'I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it'.  In phase 4 when God brings them out of Egypt with the power of God and the Ark of the covenant and defeats their enemies, the Jews will take more land than before. The remaining Jews worldwide that have not returned but witness the miraculous exodus out of

Page 115: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Egypt  will then return. When these remaining Jews  see both the mighty deliverance of Jehovah and the Ark of the Covenant in Zion this then will be a clear signal from Jehovah God they are to return to their land (phase 3 , phase 4). Notice God says ALL the house and repeats ALL of it. The whole house of Israel would be the 12 tribes that have been scattered among all nations for over 2500 years. God is

Page 116: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

saying that ALL of them will return to Israel and men shall be multiplied, the cities inhabited again and the waste places rebuilt. Men and beast shall increase and multiply carrying much fruit. They shall settle in their old estates again and they will prosper more than when Israel first came into the promised land.

Page 117: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:12-15 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.13 Thus saith the Lord God; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations anymore, saith the Lord God.15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord God. God says that He will cause men to walk upon the land of Israel. This is the Gentiles coming to visit Israel. Israel will be a great tourist attraction because of it's great history and religious significance to many around the world. The Jews will also build their temple (timeframe 3) to house the Ark of the Covenant that reappears in timeframe 2- phase 3 of the mass return. God says that Israel will be a possession for the Gentiles to enjoy as their inheritance and no longer to be blamed for devouring men because of its wars and bereaved the nations - that is - a weight upon the nations. God also

Page 118: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

says that the shame of the heathen will not be heard in Israel and as a reproach and not to cause the nations to fall any more.

Page 119: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:16-22 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land.21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

Page 120: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. God reminds Ezekiel why the Jews were scattered in the first place. God starts of at a time in their history when all 12 tribes (the whole house of Israel) were living in their promised land, but they defiled it by their evil doings and fell to a moral condition of a removed woman full of uncleanness. God poured out His fury for the blood that they had shed upon the land and for their idols they worshipped and polluted. God said they had profaned His Name among the heathen when they said they were the people of God , the chosen ones, bit the Gentiles saw that God rejected them forever or that God was not strong enough to protect them. Gentiles ignored God’s promises to restore them back to the land and Church leaders spiritualized promises to Israel as the Church - the new spiritual Israel. God is not bring the Jews back to Him because they deserve it but to honor His Holy Name. To sanctify His Name as Holy among the nations. This will take all the prophecies of the mass return to accomplish this. From

Page 121: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 36:24-37 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Phase 1 to phase 4 we are treading on Holy ground and the miraculous as God is Alive and well and will sanctify His name among the Gentiles when He accomplishes the events of the mass return.

Page 122: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in yourown sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.33 Thus saith the Lord God; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become

Page 123: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that, that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it.37 Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Page 124: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37 God says that He is going to resurrect the slain House of Israel and put His Spirit in them. Their stood up an exceeding great army as part of the process of the mass return

Page 125: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:1-2 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Ezek: 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off from our parts.

God shows Ezekiel a valley of dry bones describing the dead spiritual condition the Jews worldwide have been in for a long time. We studied the 'Day of calamity' where Jews from many nations are being shipped and dumped in Egypt and cannot even sell themselves as slaves and to add insult to injury the land of Israel falls into the hands of their worst enemies. We also read in Ezekiel 36 God says to the mountains to get ready to bear fruit for the mass return (Jews from all nations) is about to take place. Here in Ezekiel 37 God tells the Jews worldwide and those already in Egypt what He is going to do

Page 126: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

to accomplish their mass return. God says that He is going to bring them up out of their graves (Ezek 37:12).

Ezekiel 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Page 127: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Graves are the nations where they have been scattered for over 2500 years. God is going to resurrect them into an exceedingly mighty army. They will then take their land back from their enemies who attacked during 'Day of Calamity' and be blessed above the days of David and Solomon (phase 3, phase 4 (chart)). These events will be so miraculous in how God brings it about that it is like a resurrection from the dead. This is magnified because of the seemingly hopeless case the

Page 128: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jews find themselves in. God will use wilderness of Egypt and their enemies to accomplish this mighty act of resurrection but God cannot do it until first they repent as a people and as a nation. God told Ezekiel in 37:11 that these bones symbolize the whole house of Israel - that is all 12 tribes scattered worldwide. Ezekiel was taken in the spirit of the Lord and placed in the midst of an open valley which was

Page 129: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

full of these dead men's bones and in every direction he looked they were very dry. The meaning is clear. The whole house of Israel has been scattered for over 2500 years without the Spirit of God in their lives.  God asked Ezekiel (37:3) can these bones live? - that is - be a people and a nation again. This is because the present condition of the Jews looks hopeless. They are dying off in the wilderness of

Page 130: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Egypt and the land of Israel and Jerusalem is occupied by their worst enemies (this would be their condition after phase 1, phase 2 but before phase 3 – (chart)).  In the past the children of Israel had reached a high point of blessings under David and Solomon and then descended into this valley of death due to sin and disobedience to God's covenant made with them under Moses (see timeframe 2 – phase 1 study).

Page 131: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

This valley Ezekiel saw was an open valley (a wide plain) because spiritually the Jews have been at the bottom of that valley for over 2500 years. Ezekiel answers God (37:3) that only He knows whether they will live again and have the breath of God in them again - that is the Spirit of God in them. Ezek 37:4-6 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. God tells Ezekiel to prophesy to these bones. Ezekiel prophesying God's Word is a picture of what God is going to do with the whole house of Israel with His prophetic Word that He has written concerning these events - that is - God will fulfill all the written prophecies which are numerous that are connected with the mass return of all the Jews that have been scattered among all nations for over 2500 years. God says He is going to cause breath (His Spirit) to enter into them that they may live, but first God has to work with these

Page 132: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:4-6 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

bones (37:6). He must lay sinews upon them, then flesh, cover the flesh with skin and then finally put breathe in them - that is - His Spirit so that they may live.

Ezek 37:7,8 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Ezekiel 37:7,8 covers the history of Jews from Zionist movement (turn of the 20th century) to Israel becoming a nation (May 1948 A.D.) but without breath (Spirit of God)

Page 133: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:7,8 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Ezekiel prophesized as commanded and as Ezekiel prophesized there was a noise and a shaking and bones came to together, bone to bone. The fulfillment of these words has already taken place at the turn of the 20th century under the Zionist movement. The result of World War 1 was the Balfour Declaration of 1917 creating a home land for the Jews in Palestine. The creation of this homeland for the Jews took place in a time of great noise and shaking in the wars of W.W.1. A time when a more powerful form of dynamite was invented (by a Jew) and first time the world saw airplane warfare as bombs dropped causing a lot of shaking and noise. Because this homeland was created, Jews that were scattered among all nations for over 2500 years began to return in small numbers - bone to his bone. Then  W.W.2 and Hitler came along and many Jews fled Europe. This was another time of great noise and shaking and

Page 134: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

sinews and flesh came upon these bones as they became a people and a nation in May, 1948. The bones now had form and had a visible face as a nation among nations. Since then the partial return of the Jews has continued on into the 21st century but the nation still has no breath - that is - Spirit of God upon them as a nation in covenant with Jehovah God as they were in the days of their fathers. We will see in phase 3 of the mass return God will cause them to turn to Him in repentance for their past sins and turn to obey Jehovah God of their fathers.

Page 135: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:9,10 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Ezekiel's prophesies (37:9) to bring breath into them is a picture of many prophecies that will be fulfilled in phase 3 ( chart) to cause the Jews to repent to Jehovah so they can have breath. When they do, to their joy. the Ark of the

Page 136: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Covenant will reappear and the Spirit of God enters them as a nation to live. A nation and a people that was about to perish (slain) now stands up as an exceeding great army heading out of Egypt to Zion (phase 4 - chart).

Page 137: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel is told to prophesy to the 4 winds - that is to the north, south, east and west and for the breath of God - His Holy Spirit - to come from each direction and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.  'Slain‘ describes the spiritual condition of the whole house of Israel. No nation wants them, their enemies are in possession of their land and casting lots for Jerusalem, and those Jews that are still scattered among the Gentile nations are as ones buried in graves having very

Page 138: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

dry bones. Ezekiel prophesized, the Spirit of God comes upon the slain and they lived and stood up upon their feet - an exceeding great army.  As I said earlier, the Jews  repent to Jehovah so they can have breath (phase 3). When they do, to their joy. the Ark of the Covenant will reappear and the Spirit of God enters them as a nation to live. A nation and a people that was about to perish (slain) now stands up as an exceeding great army heading out of Egypt to Zion (Phase 4).

Page 139: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 140: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:11-14 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off from our parts.12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord. Again,  this is the state of the Jews during the 'Day of calamity' after phase 1, phase2 but before they repent in phase 3 (next study). Their hope is gone - that is - the land of Israel that became a nation in 1948 A.D. that they worked so hard for during the 20th century on into the 21st century. The land that they tried to find a compromise with the surrounding nations but in the end the surrounding nations wanted all of it - the complete and permanent extinction of

Page 141: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Israel as a nation and as a people. The remaining Jews worldwide seeing the dreams of their enemies being realized and they now say -their hope is gone - they are cut off for their parts (vs 11).  Ezek 37:12 now says to the Jews still scattered among all nations calling their nations 'graves', because the Jews have been, in a spiritual sense, buried there for over 2500 years and their bones are very dry (spiritual condition). God says He

Page 142: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

will cause them to come up out of their graves - meaning God is going to stretch out His mighty arm and cause circumstances to bring them out of what is seemingly an impossible situation. God says they will come to the land of Israel. But the next verse says that He will put His Spirit in them first that they may live. This then is the role of Egypt ( phase 3) where the majority of Jews will be as a result of phase 1 and phase 2 of our studies.

Page 143: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God will plead with them in the wilderness of Egypt as He did with their fathers in the days of Moses. Those that do not repent shall die in Egypt but those that do will come out of Egypt as an exceeding great army let by the Ark of the Covenant and God will place them in their own land Israel (phase 4). When God does this they will know in their heart God has done this.

Page 144: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 37:15-21 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, 16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Page 145: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

God is simply saying, that at the time when God is bringing them out of their graves and brings them into the land of Israel that the 12 tribes will be treated as one people. There will be no division. After all, it has been over 2500 years they have been scattered and intermarried among the Gentiles and what tribe they belonged to in the past is forgotten. Ezek 37:21-28 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Page 146: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwelltherein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Page 147: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

After the Jews repent and turn to God (phase 3) and the mass return is complete (phase 4); God now says they shall be one nation and not divided as in the days when they were divided after Solomon into two nations. They will have one king and that is David. This will be fulfilled in the millennium after Christ's visible return and the defeat of Antichrist and his armies (Kingdom). Israel will have accepted Jesus as their

Page 148: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Messiah and King of kings and Lord of lords. David who also has been resurrected at the rapture and returned with Christ is now their prince and national king. The Jews will live in the land given by God to Abraham forever - they and their children and their children's children. God will make a covenant of peace. This would be the covenant Christ will make with them when the Jewish nations accepts Him as Messiah which will bring them everlasting righteousness and peace (Daniel 9). God will put His sanctuary in their midst. This is the millennium sanctuary spoken by Ezekiel 40-48.

Page 149: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

However, before Christ returns they will build a temple to house the Ark of the Covenant (timeframe 3) after the mass return (timeframe 2). Remember now, all the prophecies connected with the mass return in timeframe 2 happen before the rapture. The Jews turning back to Jehovah God during the mass return is not them accepting Christ at this time, but a returning back to being a covenant nation with Jehovah God of their fathers. It will take another series of prophecies after the rapture that are connected with Daniel's 70th week (last 7 years before Christ returns - chart) to prepare the nation of Israel to accept Christ which they do and Christ returns ( Kingdom).

Page 150: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 151: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mass Return of the JewsTimeframe 2 - Phase 3

The Jews repent in Egypt meeting the conditions of the Mosaic Covenant as outlined in Deut 30:1-10 and Lev 26:41-45. God now reaches down and prepares them to take their land back and defeat their enemies

When the Jews repent in Egypt, the Ark of the Covenant appears in Ethiopia with power over the enemies of the Jews and then accompanies repentant Jews out of the wilderness of Egypt with miracles as in the days of first exodus under Moses. The Jews will have more land than ever and the Ark will arrive at Mount Zion. In the process Dome of the Rock will be destroyed as payback for ‘Day of Calamity’.

Page 152: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Phase 3 begins with the Jews repenting in Egypt meeting the conditions of the Mosaic Covenant as outlined in Deut 30:1-10 and Lev 26:41-45. God now reaches down and prepares them to take their land back and defeat their enemies

Page 153: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

During the process of the mass return in the 'Day of calamity' (chart), we studied in phase 1 the Jews being dumped into Egypt coming from other nations; phase 2 - Israel and Jerusalem taken over by their worst enemies. However, God speaking through Ezekiel tells the mountains of Israel to get read to bear fruit (Ezekiel 36:8-11) for the mass return from all nations is about to take place. Ezekiel 36:8-118 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they

Page 154: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

are at hand to come.9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.  We also read in phase 2 Ezekiel 37 in which God said He was going to bring all the Jews out of their graves (nations where they have been scattered for over 2500 years). Though their enemies have taken over the land of Israel and many Jews are dying in Egypt, God says he is going to turn them into an exceeding great army though it seems the nation and people have been slain (dead without hope). Ezekiel asked can these bones live again? God answers and said they must have breath - that is - they must turn back to Jehovah God in obedience to the Mosaic Covenant. Phase 3 of timeframe 2 now tells the details of how God deals with this situation the Jews find themselves in their 'Day of Calamity' and how He

Page 155: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

brings them to repentance while they are in Egypt and brings then into what Ezek 20:37 calls the 'bond of the Covenant' that they may live and not die as a people and as a nation. This will be such a monumental task that God will literally raise the nation of Israel as a people from the dead in the eyes of the whole world to sanctify His Holy Name. God will demonstrate to a world that says Israel's God is dead, that He lives and is faithful to every promise He made to His people Israel.

Page 156: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 20:33-3833 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

Page 157: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

'As I live‘ - God begins by saying that He is a living God whereas the nations of the world say that He is dead. That God gave up the Jews a long time ago. The nations are worshiping the god of Antichrist - a new and strange god (Daniel 11).  After all, in time frame 1 Antichrist and his empire have already come to power with Satanic signs and wonders attributing his power and success to a new god (which is Satan himself but the world is deceived). Antichrist will be one of the tools God will use in the last days to accomplish His purpose for the Church, the Jews and the Gentiles.

Ezek 20:33 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

Page 158: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 20:33 says that now the living God who has been watching, waiting and listening, is now going to move by His mighty hand and will stretch out His arm and pour out His fury to bring the Jews to a place so that He will rule over them and that He will rule over them.Ezek 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

Page 159: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

We read in Phase 1 - Deut 28:68, that after the Jews have been scattered among all nations (this has lasted over 2500 years) that these same nations will ship the Jews back to Egypt where they will try to sell themselves as bondmen and bondwomen and no one will buy them. Ezek 20:33,34 is

Page 160: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

confirming phase 1 that God is using His fury and bringing them out from among the people and out of the nations where they have been presently scattered. Notice, that God is causing circumstances to forcibly evict them out of these countries in fury. Antichrist and the nations may think they are doing it on their own but they are sadly mistaken. The Jews had been scattered because of sin and disobedience for over 2500 years and their prophesized 'time of iniquity' not having a nation and a capitol they could call their own ended in 1967 A.D. (see Ezekiel 4 study)'. But they are still scattered and now God is pouring out His fury so the Jews repent so He can cause His blessings to come upon their land, their cattle, their goods, and them as a people and a nation and defeat their enemies.  BUT GOD CANNOT DO THIS UNLESS THEY TURN TO HIM FOR THAT IS THE REASON THEY WERE SCATTERED ALL THESE YEARS IN THE FIRST PLACE - DISOBEDIENCE.  God says in Ezek 20:33,34- I WILL RULE OVER YOU! I WILL BRING YOU OUT FROM AMONG THE PEOPLE AND THE NATIONS! I WILL DO IT WITH AN OUTSTRECTED HAND AND FURY POURED OUT.

Page 161: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 20:35,36 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.

In verse 35, God says He will bring them out of the nations where they have been scattered and bring them into the wilderness of the people. This will be a place where they will congregate in the wilderness of Egypt. This is where God will plead with them in the same manner that God pleaded with their fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt in the time of Moses. The wilderness then is in the land of Egypt confirming what Moses said in Deut 28:68 (phase 1).

Deut 28:6868 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Page 162: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 163: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Many will come by ship and congregate in the wilderness of Egypt because no man will buy them as bondmen or bondwomen. Since they are coming by ship this would have to be near the Red Sea and Moses confirms this in Deut 28:68 when He says 'by the way I have spoken unto thee' meaning, where they crossed over the Red Sea when they first came out of Egypt. The wilderness of the people most likely is near

or the land of Goshen where they gathered when Moses lead the children of Israel out the first time. God says He will pleadwith them like He did with their fathers in the days of Moses. God pleaded with them to obey His word so that He could bring them into the land in a covenant relationship of blessings. In the days of Moses they wandered around for 40

Page 165: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Heb 3:1515 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

years in sin and unbelief. That whole generation almost all died before they were ready to obey God (Hebrews 3:15).

Page 166: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The generation that was born in the wilderness in Moses day finally entered into the promised land under Joshua. The same choice will now exists in the 'Day of Calamity' for these Jews in Egypt that are there as a result of phase 1, phase 2 to turn to God to obey His word and experience divine deliverance OR die in the wilderness like their fathers did in the days of Moses.

Page 167: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

God says that He will cause each Jew in the wilderness to pass under the rod. The rod here is likened to a shepherd who would count his sheep as they came in or out of the fold. If one is lost he would seek it out. The fold will be those that repent and turn to God - the God of their fathers - Jehovah. They are the ones that will come into the 'bond of the covenant' (20:37). This Covenant  would be the Mosaic covenant which was conditional in that it required obedience. The Abrahamic covenant which was unconditional stated the land of Israel belongs to the Jews because of Abraham's faithfulness. The Mosaic covenant required obedience for the

Ezek 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

Jews to live and remain in the land and be blessed without be driven out. The requirement of obedience is clearly a part of the Mosaic covenant so that God can do His part in this bond.

Ezek 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

God spoke through Moses in Deuteronomy, that after the blessings and the curse of been scattered among all the nations comes upon them, that their will be a time when they will recall all these events to mind and search their heart. Then, if they return unto the Lord and obey all his commandments with their heart and all their soul, they and their children, then God will turn their captivity from among the nations and bring them out and bring them into the bond of the covenant - that is the blessings. Read carefully Deuteronomy 30:1-101 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before

thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thoumayest live.7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

Page 171: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Ezek 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

The rebels are those that do not repent toward God in Egypt- that is- do not seek to obey the laws and commandments that God had commanded them as a nation under Moses. They will be purged. They are those that either have been brought out of the nations where they had been scattered for over the last 2500 years and shipped to Egypt (phase 1), or those that fled the land of Israel to Egypt (phase 2). They die in Egypt because they do not repent. God says clearly they will not enter the land of Israel (Ezek 20:38). God then says that those remaining will KNOW this is the Lord's doing. This will be abundantly clear why as we study the remaining scriptures of the mass return (timeframe 2).

Page 173: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.

Ezek 20:34-37 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

Page 176: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:

The word 'Woe' better translated 'Ho'. Jamieson, Fausset, Brown critical commentary says:

Woe--The heading in English Version, "God will destroy the Ethiopians," is a mistake arising from the wrong rendering "Woe," whereas the Hebrew does not express a threat, but is an appeal calling attention (as used in Isaiah 55:1, Zechariah 2:6): "Ho." He is not speaking against but to the Ethiopians, calling on them to hear his prophetical announcement as to the destruction of their enemies.

the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:

This prophetic word is addressed to a land beyond the rivers of Ethiopia - a land that is shadowed with wings. These would be numerous winged flying insects of so many kind in this area. Their is something very special about this part of Ethiopia that God addresses this amazing prophecy to

Page 177: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled

First, we start out with a land beyond the rivers of Ethiopia that sends ambassadors swiftly as messengers who travel to a land that these same rivers have spoiled. It is well known and documented in any encyclopedia that the rivers of Ethiopia (the Blue Nile and the Atbara river) flow into the Nile River. From these great heights in the mountain lands of Ethiopia the Nile brings its rich deposits of fertile top soil that has spoiled the banks of the Nile in Egypt for thousands of years by depositing its topsoil there.

Page 178: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The Blue Nile has its source in the highlands of the African country of Ethiopia, by Lake Tana. The runoff from spring rain and melting snow caused the annual summer flood of the Nile that the Egyptians depended on for water to irrigate their crops, and deposit fertile top soil. Just north of Khartoum the combined White and Blue Nile meet their final major tributary, the Atbara which also has its source in the Ethiopian highlands.

The Nile River is the longest river in the world, stretching for 4,187 mile. The Nile flows from south to north and is formed by three major tributaries: the White Nile, the Blue Nile and the Atbara.

Page 179: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

We have identified the land that the rivers of Ethiopia have spoiled as Egypt.  In Egypt then these swift messengers are to go to a nation that has been scattered and peeled, measured and trodden upon, a people terrible from their beginning as a nation up to this time? These words are not a reference to Egypt but a nation, a people dwelling in Egypt. The clear answer is the nation of Israel! A nation terrible from it's beginning. Israel became a nation under Moses at Mount Sinai where God entered into Covenant with them. The nation crossed over Jordan River under Joshua  into the promised land and defeated 31 kings including that great city of Jericho. A nation that reached its height under King David and Solomon. However, because of sin and disobedience to the covenant God made with them they have been scattered and peeled off their land among all nations for over 2500 years.

We studied the verses in phase 1 about the coming 'Day of calamity' that will bring many Jews back to Egypt by ship from nations they have been living in for centuries. Also, as part of the 'Day of calamity' we saw in phase 2 that the land of Israel has become a prey to their worst enemies and they have destroyed many of its cities and made the land most desolate.  Many Jews are killed and ones that were able to make it out had no where to flee but Egypt. We studied in phase 3 that God will plead with the Jews in Egypt face to

Page 186: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

face as He did with their fathers in the days of Moses. We read that a remnant will repent and turn to obey all that God had commanded them through Moses. Those that do not repent die in the wilderness of Egypt. The Jews in Egypt at this time is that great nation that has been scattered and peeled, a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down.

Page 187: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

What do these ambassadors have to offer that they travel swiftly in 'vessels of bulrushes' by sea all the way from Ethiopia?  Isaiah never saw light speed boats but is using his words 'vessels of bulrushes' to describe a future event. The answer to the great joy of the Jews is the  'Ark of the Covenant‘. The Ark is the emblem/banner/pledge of the covenant God made with Moses to bring them into the promised land and to defeat their enemies. The promised land of Israel was given by God to the Jews through Abraham, Issac and Jacob. For over 2500 years the Jews scattered among all nations were serving out their 'time of iniquity' (see Ezekiel 4 study)for their sin and disobedience to the Mosaic Covenant. The 'time of iniquity' ended on 1967 A.D. concerning Jerusalem and 1948 A.D. concerning nation of Israel. 1967 to 200? A.D. is a 40 year time of preparation of the land for events of timeframe 2 - the mass return. Now God

Page 188: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

with His outstretched hand and fury poured out has brought the Jews back into Covenant with Him in phase 3 of timeframe 2 through their repentance. Now God will magnify His great name that has been profaned throughout the

Page 189: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Nations and especially a world deceived by Antichrist. At Antichrist's rise, Satan used his fallen angels to give Antichrist's land forces visible air support and star war Satanic warfare that both amazed and deceived the whole world and he formed his empire (timeframe 1 that precedes timeframe 2 - mass return in chart above).

Page 190: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:3-5 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.4 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. This is amazing. God says to all the inhabitants and dwellers of the earth to watch what happens in Ethiopia. This prophecy could only be filled in the modern day of television and internet. A time when any inhabitant dwelling anywhere on the earth having access to television or the internet can watch as these events in Ethiopia are fulfilled before their very eyes. God said 'see ye' that means watch. These prophecies have not been fulfilled in the past, but will be fulfilled during phase 3 of the mass return that we are studying. The reappearing of the 'Ark of the Covenant' will be a worldwide event where the whole world will see and hear God's victorious power over His enemies. What is it that the Ethiopians have to offer that will

Page 191: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

turn the tide of the 'Day of calamity‘ for the repentant Jews in Egypt?. It will be the 'Ark of the Covenant' that they will give as a present to a nation and a people that were about to perish - the Jews in Egypt. Because of the Jews repentance in Egypt the Ark's appearing signals God is ready once again to bring them out of Egypt a second time as a mighty nation (first was under Moses). They will come out as an exceedingly

Page 192: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

great army (phase 4) by His mighty hand and power and His presence with the Ark as their banner. God's Spirit and power will be upon them as they walk in covenant with the God of their fathers - JEHOVAH - and the impending terrible and awesome fear now falls upon their enemies before them.

Page 193: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:3 when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains;

The word 'ensign' comes from the Hebrew word 'nes' meaning an object to rally around. An example would be a flag, a banner. We read in Exodus 17:14-16 when Moses built an alter to the Lord and called it 'Jehovahnissi' which means 'Jehovah, my banner'.

Exodus 17:14-1614 And the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:16 For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. This altar was a reminder of the pledge by God that He made to Moses that He will fight Amalek and in time would put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. The Ark of the Covenant is a pledge by God to fight for the Jewish people when they are in compliance to His Covenant to give them the land promised to their Fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Page 194: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Why would the 'Ark of the Covenant' reappear in the mountains of Ethiopia? The answer will amaze many if they study the early oral history of Ethiopia that begins with the bible story of the Queen of Sheba visited King Solomon. After her visit with Solomon, the Queen of Sheba returned to Ethiopia and gave birth to a son and named him Menelik. When the son was older he visited his father Solomon who gave him a replica of the ark of the covenant. When Menelik departed back to Ethiopia, the true Ark of the Covenant went with them along with a number of priests. The real Ark in the temple they replaced it with the replica. When you read the history of Ethiopia, you will find that it has been ruled by the Solomonic dynasty going all the way back to the time of Menelik. Also, Israel has recognized a large community of Jews in Ethiopia called 'Falashas' who trace their roots to Menelik. Israel has airlifted most of the Falashans to Israel in two dramatic airlifts called 'Operation Moses' and 'Solomon' which made worldwide news . Only about 2000 are currently left in Ethiopia and claim to be in possession of the 'Ark of the Covenant'.  Here are some articles from Encarta encyclopedia

and Grollier

{fah-lah'-shuhz}  The Falashas are a group of Ethiopians who claim Jewish origin as descendants of Menelik, the alleged son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Numbering about 30,000, until recently they lived a segregated life in villages north of Lake Tana. The Falashas observe the traditions of Judaism: they practice monogamy, obey the biblical laws of purity and

Page 196: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

circumcision, observe the Sabbath and biblical holidays, recite traditional prayers, and follow biblical dietary customs. In their synagogues they read the Bible in the Geez (an Ethiopian dialect) translation; it includes the Old Testament and some Apocrypha. They do not know the Talmud. The name Falasha (Amharic for "stranger" ) was given to them by other Ethiopians; they call themselves Beta Israel ( "House of Israel" ).

The Falashas suffered great hardship in the civil wars and famines that afflicted Ethiopia in the 1970s and 1980s, and many sought refuge in the Sudan. In 1984, 1985, and 1991, almost all of them were airlifted to Israel in a rescue operation sponsored by the Israeli government.

{ahk'-soom}  Aksum (Axum) is a town in Tigre province of northern Ethiopia, located just south of the Eritrean border (1989 est. pop., 27,857). It was the capital of an early Ethiopian empire (1st-12th centuries AD), which is also known as Aksum. The town contains the remains of many ancient monuments, notably a number of tall sculptured granite stelae, the highest of which was originally 33.5 m (110 ft). The cathedral of Maryam Seyon (St. Mary of Zion) is believed to contain the ark of the covenant, carried there from Jerusalem by Menelik, legendary son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Most Ethiopian Jews come from north-west Ethiopia, north of Lake Tana: Gondar, Simen, Tigrai and nearby areas.

Page 198: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ethiopia (History)

Ethiopia (History) according to tradition, the kingdom of Ethiopia was founded (10th cent. B.C.) by Menelik I, Solomon's first son, supposedly by the Queen of Sheba. The first recorded kingdom, however, is that of Aksum (Axum), probably founded (1st cent. A.D.) by traders from S Arabia and converted to Coptic Christianity in the 4th cent. With the rise of Islam in the 7th cent., Aksum lost control of the Red Sea routes, and a period of chaos followed. Order was restored in the 13th cent. with the founding of a new Solomonic dynasty. However, a war to expel the encroaching Somali, while successful (1543), exhausted the nation, which for the next two centuries was beset by ruinous civil wars. Finally, in 1889, Menelik II supported by Italy, instituted a strong rule. Claiming that Menelik had agreed to the establishment of a protectorate, Italy invaded Ethiopia in 1895 but was decisively defeated at Aduwa (1896). Haile Helassie, who ascended the throne in 1930, faced a renewed Italian threat, which culminated in a full-scale invasion in 1935. Ethiopia remained occupied until 1941, when it was

Page 199: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

liberated by the British. In 1952 the UN joined the former Italian colony of Eritrea in a federation with Ethiopia; Eritrea was annexed in 1962. In 1974 Haile Selassie was overthrown by army officers who proclaimed a socialist state and nationalized the economy. Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam brutally established (1977) himself as an authoritarian president. Under Mengistu, Ethiopia experienced serious political and economic problems, particularly a secessionist movement in Eritrea, a rebellion in Tigré prov. in the north, war with Somalia over the Ogaden, and a drought that caused widespread famine. In 1991 guerrilla successes drove Mengistu into exile. Tigréan guerrillas subsequently captured Addis Ababa, establishing an interim government with Meles Zenawi as president. The Eritreans triumphed as well, and in 1993 Eritrea became independent.

Kebra Nagast ("The glory of Kings")  The Ethiopian national epic. Probably first composed between 6th and 9th centuries AD. Received definitive form in 14th century, during the reign of King Amda Seyon (1314-

Kebra Nagast ("The glory of Kings")

Page 200: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

"According to the Kebra Nagast, the Queen of Sheba, known as Makeda, traveled from Aksum to visit King Solomon in Jerusalem. During her stay, Solomon not only dazzled her with his wisdom, but also tricked her by a clever ruse into having sexual relations with him. The Queen conceived a son, whom she bore upon her return to Aksum. When he reached maturity, this son, Menelik, journeyed to Jerusalem to meet his father. At the completion of Menelik's visit, Solomon commanded that the first-born sons of the priests and elders of Israel accompany him to Aksum. Before setting out, however, Menelik and his companions led by Azariah, the son of the High Priest, stole the Ark of the Covenant from the Temple. Thus, the glory of Zion passed from Jerusalem and the Children of Israel to the new Zion, Aksum, and the new Israel, the Ethiopian people.“ [Kaplan, "Beta Israel", p.22-23]

1344); served as "charter legend" for new dynasty who based their legitimacy on claim of descent from King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. [Kaplan "Beta Israel" pp. 22-23]

Page 201: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

A Beta Israel oral tradition noted by the 18th-century Scottish explorer James Bruce said that their ancestors had come to Ethiopia along with Menelik; and that later, when the descendants of Menelik converted to Christianity, the Beta Israel chose a prince of the tribe of Judah as their ruler and refused to convert to Christianity. [Kaplan "Beta Israel" p.23; Quirin "Evolution of Ethiopian Jews" p.22]

Bible account of Queen of Sheba and Solomon

1 Kings 10:1-131 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions.2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.3 And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not anything hid from the king, which he told her not.4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

Page 202: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

5 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.8 Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.9 Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the Lord loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.10 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.11 And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.

Page 203: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

12 And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the Lord, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.13 And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

1 Kings 10:13 says Solomon gave her ALL here desire besides the things he gave her. Oral history of Ethiopia that is known through out the land is that she gave birth to Solomon's son after she returned to Ethiopia and name him Menelik. When Menelik got older he visited his father Solomon and when he left, the Ark of the Covenant and many priests accompanied him back to Ethiopia. It is well documented that there has been a community of Jews called Falasha's that trace their lineage back to being the offspring of Menelik and the priests. They have practiced a strict form of Judaism which had not changed since the time of Solomon. Ethiopia has been ruled by the Solomonic dynasty for most of itshistory. Israel accepted the Ethiopian Jews as true Jews. In

Page 204: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Back to Isaiah 18:3

the last few decades thousands of Ethiopian Jews have been airlifted to Israel by Israel. A few thousand are left in Ethiopia and claim to have the Ark of the Covenant in Askum.

Isa 18:3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. Let us see if we can paint the background for why the 'Ark of the Covenant' is brought forth on the mountains of Ethiopia when it reappears. Remember, Antichrist's rise and empire (timeframe 1) takes place before the prophecies of the mass return (current timeframe 2 study)

Page 205: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

It would seem that Antichrist and those foreign forces that are behind him feel that they have accomplished their purpose against the Jews in driving them out of Gentile lands and their own land (phase1, phase 2). Now, in the name of world peace are marching on to other trouble spots  - one most likely the ongoing war between Ethiopia and Eritrea or

Page 206: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

simply the remaining Jews in Ethiopia. Antichrist overlooks one great fact - the Ethiopians have the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark is carefully guarded by a lifetime keeper and protector (see documentation at the end of phase 3 study). When the Jews repent (phase 3), God may again speak from the Ark itself and give orders to the priest to bring it forth. Moses communed with God before the Ark (Ex 25:22).

Page 207: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ex 25:22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.  The Ethiopians come forth with an object more powerful than all the world's armies combined - 'Ark of the Covenant'. The 'Ark' has been kept by the priests who were of the line of the priests that came to Ethiopia with the Ark in the days of Solomon. In a time when the world has been deceived and amazed by Antichrist's Satanic power and star war air forces (Satan and his fallen angels) to help his armies (Timeframe 1 - Daniel 7, Daniel 8). Antichrist is seen as a valiant man putting down all the world trouble spots to bring about a false millennium, and to worship his god, a new age religion and a  'God of forces' (Daniel 11:36).

Daniel 11:3636 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall

Page 208: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. But now, God faithful to the bond of the Covenant between Him and the Jewish nation, God puts it into the hearts of the priests that house and protect the Ark since the time of Solomon to bring forth the 'Ark of the Covenant' for his covenant people -the Jews - who have repented in Egypt (phase 3). God is now going to deliver the Jews a second time out of Egypt. God will demonstrate His power and covenant faithfulness and the power of His Spirit (as opposed to Antichrist's and his Satanic spirit), by given the Jews complete victories over their enemies for the whole world to see (phase 4 ). God will magnify His name among the Gentiles who mock and say - where is the living God of the Jews and the Christians?. No wonder Isaiah 18:2 says that the

nation of Israel was terrible from its beginning. Look at what God had to say and which He accomplished when the children of Israel crossed the Jordan under Joshua to face their enemies having the 'Ark of the Covenant'.Joshua 3:9-119 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the Lord your God.10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.

Isa 18:3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

Isaiah 18:3 continued

God tells all the inhabitants of the whole earth to not only watch but to hear the blowing of the trumpet that accompanies the reappearing of the 'Ark of the Covenant'.   When the 'Ark' went into battle it was always accompanied by the blowing of trumpets (Josh 6:1-4) - another confirmation.

Joshua 6:1-4 Fall of Jericho1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.2 And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go

round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

Isaiah 27:13 speaks of a future time when the great trumpet will sound.

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

Page 213: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

This is the same trumpet (Ram's horn) that Isaiah 18 says will be blown from the mountains of Ethiopia accompanied by the 'Ark of the Covenant' that the whole world will see and hear. In Isa 27:13 notice the reference to outcasts in the land of Egypt. They are the Jews in Egypt from phase 1, phase 2 of the mass return (timeframe 2).

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Page 214: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Notice also the reference to them that were ready to perish in land of Assyria. Land of Assyria is Isaiah's name of Antichrist‘s empire. Many of the Jews were deported from nations within His empire in phase 1 and those that remain in

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Page 215: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Antichrist's Empire will be sought after to be killed. In phase 3 we are studying, the Jews in Egypt repent and the Ark of the Covenant reappears and God goes into action. Those Jews that were about to perish when they see God's great

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Page 216: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

deliverance will return to Israel (phase 4). Every prophet had their own unique name of Antichrist. Isaiah calls him the Assyrian. When God is finished using Antichrist and accomplishes His goal to make Mount Zion His Holy

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Page 217: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mountain   and Jerusalem His capitol God will judge the Assyrian (Antichrist). This is summed up in Isaiah 10:12. The defeat of Antichrist will be when Christ returns (Kingdom).

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Page 218: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 10:12Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

Isaiah 27:1313 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

The main subject of our study is Isaiah 18 and reappearing of the Ark of the Covenant. Notice Isa 27:13 the outcasts and those that were about to perish will worship the Lord in Mount Zion. Now compare last verse of Isa 18 - Isa 18:7

Isaiah 18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the Lord of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, the Mount Zion.

Page 219: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:7 is clearly talking about the 'Ark of the Covenant' though not mentioned by name. But this is the same ensign (‘nes’) spoken of in Isa 18:1:3 that brought tremendous victory over their enemies and was accompanied by the blowing of trumpets. God tells all the inhabitants and dwellers of the earth to both hear and see what happens (radio, television, internet) because God is saying to the world ‘I live’ and I am the Covenant God of Abraham, Isaac and Jocab. The Ark of the Covenant is brought to 'Mount Zion' as a present from Ethiopia. No wonder the Jews will worship there in Zion for the presence of the Lord of the whole earth - Jehovah - will be there. More later on Isa 18:7.

Isa 18:4 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

Isaiah 18 continued

Jamieson, Fausset, Brown critical commentary says: take . . . rest . . . consider--I will calmly look on and not interpose, while all seems to promise success to the enemy; when figuratively, the sun's heat" and "the night dews" ripen their "harvest"; but "before" it reaches its maturity I will destroy it (Isaiah 18:5, Ecclesiastes 8:11,12)

Page 220: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:4 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

God is at rest and watching and considering. God has been in His place of rest in waiting for the Jews to seek His face and turn to obey. In the 'Day of calamity' the Jews are in affliction (phase 1, phase 2 - chart).  Hosea 5:14,15 sum up the fact that God has been in His rest since they have been scattered for over 2500 years but will turn back to the Jews in the time of their affliction ('Day of calamity').

Page 221: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Hosea 5:14,1514 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

God as a lion and a young loin scattered both the house of Israel and Judah in the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities (chart). God then returns to His place of rest until they seek

Page 222: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Hosea 5:14,1514 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

His face which God says they will do early in their affliction. Over 2500 years have passed and now they have served their 'time of iniquity' (Ezekiel 4). The 'Day of calamity' has now

Page 223: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

come upon them and in their affliction they seek God early which results in their repentance in the land of Egypt (phase 3). God delivers them from Egypt in a second Exodus led by the 'Ark of the Covenant' (phase 4). Once the 'Ark of the Covenant' comes to 'Mount Zion' it is a signal for all remaining Jews to come home to Israel (all of them!).

Page 224: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:4 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. 5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

Commentary on verse 55. For--rather, "But." perfect--perfected. When the enemy's plans are on the verge of completion. sour grape . . . flower--rather, "when the flower shall become the ripening grape" [MAURER]. sprigs--the shoots with the grapes on them. God will not only disconcert their present plans, but prevent them forming any future ones.

The Jews in Egypt which are seeking Jehovah's face review their whole past history of blessings and curses and then turn to obey God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength and to obey all that is in their law (phase 3). God hears their cry and upon the mountains of Ethiopia the 'Ark of the Covenant’

Page 225: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

is lifted up - the 'Ark' signifying Gods pledge to give them the promised land and defeat their enemies.  Antichrist armies and foreign forces have been successful in forming Antichrist's Empire (time frame 1) and promoting the New Age god of Antichrist. Antichrist has deceived the whole world with his star war rise to glory with the visible help of Satan and his angels. After Antichrist has formed his empire he turns to deal with the Middle East and the Arab/Israel battle

Page 226: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

for who controls the land and other trouble spots. After driving out the Jews with the help of foreigners and the Arab nations (phase 1, phase 2) he now marches on toward Ethiopia. However, God's timing is perfect and just when Antichrist seems he is going to get glory for putting down like a valiant man every trouble spot, the remaining Ethiopian priests in Ethiopia bring forth the 'Ark of the Covenant' on the mountains, sounding the trumpet for the whole world to hear and see what happens. God now brings about a mighty victory because of His faithfulness as Jehovah - the Covenant God of mercy and truth.

Page 227: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

and see what happens. God now brings about a mighty victory because of His faithfulness as Jehovah - the Covenant God of mercy and truth.

Page 228: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 18:6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.

So numerous will the destruction of their enemies that the beasts of the earth and the fowls of the air shall summer and winter upon them for about a year. Antichrist and any foreign forces involved will not be able to recoup and mount another invasion. That is what God meant in the previous verse that He will cut the sprigs with pruning hooks and the circumstances for Antichrist and his armies to do this again will not happen.

We are not told what God will do to bring about this mass destruction seen worldwide upon the enemy. However, Isaiah 18:7 refers to the 'Lord of hosts'. Antichrist came to power

Page 229: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the Lord of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, the Mount Zion.

with the visible help of Satan and his angels. Now, the Lord's angel's which are His hosts go into action.  There are many examples of the Lord's hosts going into action on behalf of the Jews when they were in Covenant agreement with Jehovah God. We read in Isa 18:7 that 'In that time' - that is -  when these events occur the 'Ark of the Covenant'  (Ark is not mentioned by name but called 'the present' for Mount Zion) will be brought to the Lord of hosts of a people scattered, peeled, meted out and trodden (nation of Israel - see Isa 18:2), to the place in Israel called Mount Zion. The 'Ark of the Covenant' is the only object Isa 18 could be referring to that makes total sense. Consider Jeremiah3:16 referring to the future role of the Ark of the Covenant as a much talked about object, a tourist attraction until Christ the true and living Ark

Page 230: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the Lord of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, the Mount Zion.

returns and then the wooden Ark of the Covenant will have finished its role in point to Christ.Jer 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Page 231: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In verse 16, Jeremiah says that in the days when the Jews are multiplied and increased in the land -that is - after the mass return (timeframe 2) is complete and all the Jews have returned from all nations wherein they were scattered for over 2500 years, they shall no longer say the 'Ark of the covenant' or visit or even remember it.  The Jews do not do that today, so what is Jeremiah saying? Verse 18 has the

Page 232: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

answer 'At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered to it'. This would be when Jesus returns (Kingdom). The 'Ark of the covenant' is God's emblem or standard of His pledge to give the Jews victory over their enemies and to give them the land promised to Abraham, Issac and Jacob (phase 3, phase 4). When Christ returns the promises to the Jews have been

Page 233: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

completely fulfilled and they will be in total possession of their land and their enemies totally vanquished (Kingdom). Christ as Lord in Jerusalem is that 'Mighty and living Ark of the Covenant' that only Moses 'Ark' always pointed to.  Jeremiah is clearly saying that the 'Ark of the Covenant' will be a great tourist attraction in the last days and will be on many minds, but will end when Christ reigns gloriously Himself in Jerusalem.

Page 234: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 235: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 236: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mass Return of the JewsTimeframe 2 - Phase 4

The Jews come out of Egypt with the Ark of the Covenant with a great demonstration of God's mighty power like the days of Moses and Joshua as they cross over on dry land and defeat their enemies. The Ark now on Mount Zion is God's signal to all Jews left in Gentile lands that they will recognize and return to Israel - mass return is complete. All 12 tribes scattered for over 2500 years have now come home to the land God gave them through Abraham and confirmed in Isaac and Jacob whose name what changed to Israel. The time to rebuild the tabernacle of David and their temple in timeframe 3 is soon to take place following the final events of timeframe 2 – phase 4.

Page 237: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The Jews come out of Egypt with the Ark of the Covenant with a great demonstration of God's mighty power like the days of Moses and Joshua as they cross over on dry land and defeat their enemies.

This is the last phase (phase 4 - chart) of the process of the mass return. . Antichrist's rise and empire took place in timeframe 1. So far in Timeframe 2 (mass return) we studied in phase 1 the Jews being dumped into Egypt coming from other nations; phase 2 'Day of calamity'- land of Israel and Jerusalem taken over by their worst enemies and they have

Page 238: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

no where to flee but to Egypt. Phase 3 saw the repentance of the Jews in Egypt and God bringing them back into the bond of the covenant (Mosaic). The Ark of the Covenant reappears first in Ethiopia with a great victory over Antichrist and foreign forces. The Ark is then given to the repentant Jews in Egypt who were about to perish as a people and a nation. Phase 4 (current study) now sees the Jews in covenant with God and God's presence in their midst because of the Ark of the Covenant. God is now delivering them out of Egypt a

Page 239: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

second time with the power of His Mighty outstretched hand. The Jews come out of Egypt as an exceedingly great army and defeat their enemies and take back more land than they had before and the Ark will be placed on Mount Zion. Any remaining Jews around the world will see the Ark and God's great deliverance out of Egypt a second time and they will leave their homes where they have been scattered for over 2500 years and return. The Jews then will build their temple

Page 240: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

and enter into a great time of prosperity and blessings (timeframe 3 - chart). We begin our study of phase 4 with Isaiah 11:11-16.

Page 241: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 11:11-1611 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. 14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to

Page 242: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

The first time God set His hand to recover the remnant of His people (the Jews), was after the house of Israel (10 tribes) went into captivity to the Assyrians in 721 B.C. and the house of Judah (2 tribes) went into captivity to the Babylonians beginning in 606 B.C. and lasting 70 years. God said through the prophet Jeremiah that after the land rested

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people

Page 243: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

for 70 years then they (all 12 tribes) could return. God stretched forth His mighty hand and caused the seemingly impregnable Babylonian empire to fall to the Persian Empire and God through Cyrus the Persian king opened the door for all Jews to return to their land. Only a small remnant of Jews from all 12 tribes returned to Israel as recorded in the books of Nehemiah, Esther and Ezra (chart).

Page 244: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The Jews that did not return to Israel but remained among the Gentiles and intermarried, God added a additional punishment of 2,520 years upon them and they were scattered among the Gentiles called the 'time of iniquity' (see Ezekiel 4 study) while their land and capitol were under Gentile dominion. The ‘time of iniquity’ punishment ended when Israel became a nation in 1948 A.D and the recapture of

Page 245: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jerusalem in 1967 A.D.. However, many Jews still remained scattered. God is saying in Isa 11:11 that He will bring about circumstances a second time to recover this remnant of Jews that have been scattered for over 2500 years. This process is what we have been studying called the mass return (4 phases in phase chart above we have been studying).

Page 246: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Page 247: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

As we read on we will see that those Jews that are in those nations listed here in Isaiah 11 that are not in Egypt as a result of phase 1, phase 2, will see (by television, internet, newspaper, etc.) the mighty deliverance of the Jews from

Page 248: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Egypt a second time by the power of God (phase 4 - current study). They see the mighty miracles God does with the Red Sea and the Nile, the defeat and spoiling of their enemies on the way, and the 'Ark of the Covenant' on 'Mount Zion' like as were done in the days of their fathers in the time of Moses and Joshua. Then they will leave those country's listed and return to Israel just as Joshua commanded the people of his day (Joshua 3:3).

Page 249: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Joshua 3:33 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations  The 'ensign' for the nations is the 'Ark of the Covenant' (phase 3) where the 'ensign' first reappears in Ethiopia accompanied by the sound of trumpets and first major defeat of Antichrist's forces. It is this ‘ensign’ (defined as an object like a banner, flagpole, that many recognize and would rally to) - the Ark of the Covenant on Mount Zion that God sets up that the nations will recognize. Many in the nations will see the miracles of the mass return of all Jews is the work of Jehovah God who will sanctify His Holy name that has been blasphemed, and for those that say Jehovah God is dead. Yet, what God is saying to the nations is that what I am doing for the Jews is because ‘I live’ and I am faithful to my Word and My covenant made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob concerning the land of Israel. God will now overthrow the enemies of the

Page 250: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jews because the Jews that were perishing in Egypt are now through repentance in the 'Bond of the Covenant' with Jehovah God as outlined in the Mosaic covenant of blessings and curses, life or death ( phase 3). The 'Ark of the Covenant' is a standard - an object that has God's faithfulness attached to it throughout its history. Concerning this standard, God says in Isaiah 49:22

Isaiah 49:2222 Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders

God says He will lift up His hand against the Gentiles (God will defeat the enemies of the Jews) and God will set up a standard (ensign from the Hebrew word 'nes') which is the 'Ark of the Covenant' which will be in Mount Zion after the second exodus out of Egypt and notice the result - the children of Israel returning to their homeland.

Back to Isaiah 11:12

Page 251: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

The 'outcasts of Israel' are those that have fled to the neighboring nations in the 'Day of calamity' (phase 2) and many shall assemble together in Egypt. Many of the 'dispersed of Judah' are those Jews that have been scattered for over 2500 years. The word 'Jew' comes from the word ‘Judah'. Many of those dispersed will be forced out of the Gentile nations where they lived and shipped to Egypt (phase 1). The Jews in Egypt will gather in an area called 'the wilderness of the people' (phase 3 - Ezek 20:33-38). So we have in Isaiah 11:12 'Ark of the Covenant' in the hands of the Jews in Egypt and they are gathered together in several locations in Egypt.

Page 252: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 253: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 18:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

All tribal identities are lost but they are now one house of Israel in Egypt. No longer two as they were in the time of the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. Over the 2500 years both the houses of Israel (10 tribes) and house of Judah (2 tribes) were scattered. They have lost their tribal identities and now come back as one people - as Jews.  There is no envy that will exist between them as in the past . Compare vs 13 with phase 2 - Ezekiel 37:15-21 where God told Ezekiel what He was going to do where Isaiah tells us how God is going to do it.

Page 254: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 37:15-2115 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, 16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Page 255: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 11:14,15 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod

The Jews are now coming out of Egypt (vs 15) with the same 'Ark of the Covenant' that destroyed a large contingent of Antichrist armies on the mountains of Ethiopia where the Ark first appeared to defeat the enemies of Israel (phase 3). There is no 'Philistines' today, but the word means 'strangers in the land' that is, foreign forces that had helped the Arabs in

Page 256: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

the 'Day of calamity' to take over Israel's land, destroy their cities and make their land most desolate (phase 2). These foreign forces have seen what God has done to the forces that went on ahead to Ethiopia (phase 3) who met with complete destruction after the 'Ark of the Covenant' appeared and the trumpets sounded. The world that said 'Jehovah God' is dead are now watching all those Jews they thought would die in the deserts and wildernesses of Egypt, now coming out of

Page 257: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Egypt as an exceeding great army. The enemy is now fleeing in every direction before the coming 'Ark of the Covenant'. They are fleeing west - the nations where they came from which now make up heart of Antichrist's Empire - Europe (timeframe 1). We are told the Jews will 'fly upon the

Page 258: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

shoulders of the Philistines toward the west'. To fly upon the shoulders means they have their backs turned and are hightailing it back to their own land. However, the Jews manage to come back into their own land and get an air force to fly upon these foreign forces and destroy them and their tanks and machinery. Concerning the 'Arabs of the east' Isaiah says they will spoil (take their goods), lay their hand (fight) on 'Edom' (south of Judah, from the Dead Sea to the Red sea) and 'Moab' (East of Jordan and the Dead Sea), but the 'children of Ammon' (east of Judah, north of Moab, between the Arnon and Jabbok) will obey them. The Jews will take more land then they had before and most likely take this occasion to destroy the 'Dome of the Rock' which stands on the Holy Place in retaliation for all the destruction visited upon them in the 'Day of calamity' (phase 2).

Page 259: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The "Wailing Wall," or "Western Wall" is the walled enclosure that was around "Herod's Temple," and is not actually a wall of the Temple building.

Dome of the Rock

Page 260: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

In the place where the Dome of the Rock stood the Jews will now build their temple in Jerusalem to house the 'Ark of the Covenant'. We studied Psalm 83:1-8 (phase 2) which describes the nations around Israel as confederate with one another in crafty counsel to wipe out the nation of Israel so much that it will not even come into remembrance anymore.

Page 261: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Psalm 83:1-8 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Page 262: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Psa 83:9:18, Isa 10:24-27, Zech 10:5-12 concludes God's judgments upon those nations that are fulfilled at this time

Psalm 83:9-18 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

Page 263: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 10:24-27 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of theAssyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shalllift up his staff against thee, after the manner ofEgypt.25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.26 And the Lord of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth

Zech 10:5-12 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

Page 264: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shalldry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart away.12 And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord.

Page 265: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Summing these verses up, when the Jews come out of Egypt the Spirit of the Lord will be upon them mightily to do battle for they will be zealous for the Lord of hosts. God's mighty tempest goes before them.  Psalm 83:13 says make them as a wheel like stubble before the wind and with God's mighty wind fan the flames of fire to burn them up like wood in a fire and have them so ashamed that they may seek the Lord. In other words, the enemy is hit so hard that they are scattered as if a tornado (wheel) hit them - so mighty is God's mighty wind and lightning that will start fires whose flames are so fanned by the wind that the flames overtake them.

Page 266: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 11:15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod

Back to Isaiah 11:11-15

Isaiah now says how the Jews got out of Egypt. God will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea. Egyptian sea would be the 'Red Sea' because it borders Egypt. The 'tongue'

Page 267: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 11:15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod

would be that part that juts into the land as seen in map above. God will utterly destroy it. That means totally dry it up so that it can be walked over dry shod.  God will also shake His mighty hand over the seven streams (Nile river delta)

Page 268: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

There shall be a highway -that is- no obstruction but a clear path back to the land of Israel just as it was in the days of Joshua when they crossed the Jordan into the promised land. A remnant of his people left from Assyria will walk this highway. This remnant are the Jews that were shipped to

Page 269: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isa 11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Egypt (phase 1) from Assyrian (Isaiah's name for the nations that make up Antichrist empire) that repented and turned to Jehovah God to obey all that Moses commanded (phase 3) - they lived - the rest that did not repent died in Egypt.

Page 270: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 271: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

The 'Ark of the Covenant' (phase 4) on Mount Zion is God's signal to all Jews still left in Gentile lands to return to Israel as Joshua commanded the people of his day (Joshua 3;3).

The 'Ark of the Covenant' is a standard - an object that has God's faithfulness attached to it throughout its history. Concerning this standard, God tells us in Isaiah 49:22 because of the Ark in Zion the remaining scattered Jews will come

Joshua 3:33 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

Page 272: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

home to Israel. As they get off those planes landing in Israel they will be carrying their sons and daughters in their arms and on their shoulders.

Isaiah 49:2222 Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

The 12 tribes scattered for over 2500 years have now come home to the land God gave them, through Abraham, and confirmed in Isaac and Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. The time to rebuild the tabernacle of David and their temple is about to take place in timeframe 3.

Page 273: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Scriptures confirming mass return has taken place In this last study on the mass return we want to look at several scriptures that confirms the mass return has taken place. Some of these scriptures quoted will be dealt with greater detail in other timeframes they belong to - but will confirm the mass return has already taken place. Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Page 274: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Antichrist will invade the land of Israel after the rapture in the middle of Daniel's 70th week (last 7 years before Christ returns - chart). Notice the words in Ezek 38:8 'land that is brought back from the sword'. Sword means weapons. We saw that Israel will be put to the sword in the ' Day of calamity' (phase 2) when the Arabs plus foreigners killed many Jews and made many cities desolate and much of

land that is brought back from the sword

Page 275: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

land. Then phase 3 and phase 4 of the mass return saw the Jews come back to their land with great power and victory with the 'Ark of the Covenant' fulfilling the above words in Ezek 38:8 'and gathered out of many people'. Ezek 38:8 also says the land was a wasteland for a long time. It was for centuries till the turn of the 20th century under the Zionist movement.

Page 276: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

A homeland for Jews was created in 1917 A.D. under the Balfour Declaration and Nationhood followed in 1948 A.D. The partial return of the Jews continued in the 20th century and then in the 21st century along came the rise of Antichrist  (timeframe 1 before the rapture – chart). Then came the mass return with its 'Day of calamity' (timeframe 2 - chart) and the resulting repentance of the Jews in Egypt and the reappearing of the Ark of the Covenant (phase 3). This

Page 277: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

resulted in a second exodus with the Ark of the Covenant out of Egypt (phase 4) followed by the mass return of all remaining Jews around the world responding to the Ark on

Page 278: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Mount Zion to come home to the land of Israel. Notice in verse 8 the first part of this verse as applying to the latter years - that is - generation that will see Christ return. Notice also verse 8 they are all dwelling safely in their land. Only the events of the mass return (timeframe 2) before the rapture fulfill the conditions described in these verses of Ezekiel 38 as having already been fulfilled. Ezekiel 38 as well as Ezekiel 39 is mostly about Antichrist invading Israel during the last 7 years (Daniel's 70th week) before Christ returns It is the visible return of Christ and the raptured saints that save Israel this time (Kingdom). The process of the mass return(timeframe 2) before the rapture brought the Jews back into a covenant relationship with Jehovah based on the blessings and curses of the Mosaic covenant. However, it is the events of Daniel's 70th week after the rapture brings them to accept Christ as their Messiah (Kingdom).

Page 279: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews
Page 280: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 38:11,12 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Notice the Jews are living in unwalled villages, they are at rest, dwelling safely without bars or gates (Ezek 38:11). Thisis certainly not the conditions of Israel before the mass return. These are the conditions that the mass return brought about. After the mass return, the Jews build their temple to house the 'Ark of the Covenant' (timeframe 3). God had defeated all their enemies in the process of the mass return

Page 281: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

(phase 4) and now the places that were made desolate in the 'Day of calamity' are now inhabited and the cities rebuilt (Ezek 38:12).The Jews also find great deposits of oil, and God has blessed them with cattle and goods. However, they have backslidden so much since the mass return (timeframe 2)

Page 282: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 38:11,12 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.before the rapture, that after the rapture in timeframe 5, Antichrist believes he can invade the land successfully and conquer it. God will allow this to happen and use these circumstances to bring them to accept their Messiah Jesus Christ who is the only one that can deliver them from all the armies of the world marching on them. Remember, these events of Ezekiel 38, 39 are happening after the rapture while

Page 283: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezek 38:11,12 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. God has been pouring out his judgments upon the earth (7th seal trumpet/vial judgments of Revelations - timeframe 5 (chart)). These judgments have been poured out on Gentile nations while Israel is pictured like the land of Eden. Antichrist sorely needs what the nations want and He invades Israel to get the oil, the cattle, goods and to rule the world from Jerusalem.

Page 284: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Ezekiel 39:23-2923 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have

Page 285: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

Ezekiel says in that day the heathen will know why the history of the Jews has been the way it is. Notice God says that after He brings about the captivity of the Jews from all nations (the mass return - timeframe 2) that they shall dwell safely in the land and none around made them afraid. These are the conditions the mass return will produce for Israel before the rapture and a short time after.

Page 286: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Isaiah 49:8-268 Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.12 Behold, these shall come from far and lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.14 But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may

Page 287: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

forget, yet will I not forget thee.16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.17 Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.18 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that Imay dwell.21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?22 Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to

Page 288: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?25 But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Page 289: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

This whole chapter sums up the miracles of the mass return. After the Jews repent in Egypt (phase 3) God will raise up a standard ('Ark of the Covenant'). God will open springs and rivers in the desert to give them thirst and a cloud by day to protect them from the hot sun as God did for their fathers in the days of Moses. God will defeat their enemies that were all

Page 290: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

around them that attacked them in the 'Day of calamity' (phase 2). God will clothe Israel with the land of their enemies. Because of the second exodus out of Egypt (phase 4), and the 'Ark on Mount Zion' the rest of the Jews will see this as the sign to return (all of them!) to Israel. The land will multiply so greatly that it will already become too straight for them. Those that lost family in the 'Day of calamity' (phase 2) will be comforted with more children.

Page 291: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Amos 9:9-159 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this.13 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, anddrink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no

Page 292: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

Amos 9:14 talks of the mass return to the land of Israel to build the waste cities and inhabit them. The prophet calls this 'the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David‘ (vs 11).  That is, as the days of old when King David ruled, the 'Ark of the covenant' was central to the nation for its protection. Now, once again the Ark is in the midst of the nation as a result of their repentance and exodus out of Egypt a second time

Page 293: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

(phase 3, phase 4). The Jews will go on a great building campaign to restore Jerusalem as in the days of David (timeframe 3) because they are in covenant with God and so God's great blessings are now upon them.

Page 294: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Zephaniah 3:10-2010 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will

Page 295: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise andfame in every land where they have been put to shame.20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord. Vs 20 is referring to the mass return (timeframe 2) when God turns their captivity. Vs 10 God confirms the offering by his dispersed daughter - His suppliants - worshippers - beyond the rivers of Ethiopia who bring an offering to the Lord.  This offering is the 'Ark of the Covenant'. These verses confirm Isa 18 (phase 3) where the 'Ark of the Covenant' is lifted up upon the mountains by the remaining Ethiopian Jews (called Falashas). The trumpets are sounded and God brings a great destruction upon the enemy. The 'Ark' is then presented

Page 296: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

to the Jews who have repented in Egypt (phase 3) and return in a second exodus with the 'Ark' and great power over their enemies as Jehovah fights their battles for them (phase 4).

Page 297: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jeremiah 23:7,87 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;8 But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Jeremiah talks of a time when God will be spoken of, as one that not only brought the children of Israel out of Egypt again, but brought all the scattered Jews back from all nations - this will complete the mass return of timeframe 2.

Page 298: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

Jeremiah 3:1616 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

In vs 16, Jeremiah says that in the days when the Jews are multiplied and increased in the land -that is - after the mass return (timeframe 2) is complete and all the Jews have returned from all nations wherein they were scattered for over 2500 years, they shall no longer say the 'Ark of the covenant' or visit or even remember it.  The Jews do not do that today, so what is Jeremiah saying? Vs 18 has the answer

Page 299: Timeframe 2 -Mass Return of the Jews

'At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered to it'.  This would be when Jesus returns (Kingdom). The 'Ark of the covenant' is God's emblem or standard of His pledge to give the Jews victory over their enemies and to give them the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (phase 3). When Christ returns the promises to the Jews have been completely fulfilled and they will be in total possession of their land and their enemies totally vanquished (Kingdom) .
