What’s making the most money What’s the quickest to finish

Ideas

Paired Decisions

Good if you have lots to do and difficult to prioritise

Quicker than it looks

List all ‘to dos’

Compare each one with another, eg 1 and 2, 1 and 3, 1 and 4, 1 and 5. Then 2 and 3, 2 and 4 etc. Decide which of each pair is most important.

Do them in order of priority as identified by the choices

See link for example: http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTED_02.htm

Activity

Do some research on the time management tools and techniques discussed, and any others that you might suggest or recommend.

Identify at least one tool/technique that you would use to:

Help you study more effectively for your HND

Help you manage a work-based project

Send your suggestions, with rationale, to Andrea by the end of Tuesday, who will compile them into one document and share with the class on the website.
