This is a tidepool. Tidepools are puddles of water created by the tide. Many animals live in tidepools.

This is a snail that lives in the tidepool.It has two antennas that it uses to find food. The snail has a hard shell that helps protect its slimy body. How do you protect your body?

This is a hermit crab that lives in the tidepool. It has ten legs, two claws, and two eyes. When the hermit crab gets bigger, it moves into a larger shell. What do you outgrow when you get bigger?
