This year, Grade 5/6H have been working on the veggie

garden in all of our spare time, to make it look really

good. We planted, we weeded and we picked our

tomatoes, corn, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, basil,

rocket, coriander and we made soup with the broccoli,

cauliflower and some basil on top. We also cooked our

corn to eat, it was delicious!

A few weeks ago, Garden Gurus from 9Life came to our

school to film our veggie garden for an episode of their

TV show, which will be airing soon.

We got our hands really dirty and had a great time.

Nothing’s better than being in the veggie patch!
