DID YOU KNOW?
June of 2018 marks the thirtieth year that the Social Concerns Committee has been
extending Christ's presence, through your generous donations, to our community, both local
and global. Recently we have supported the following organizations:
UNBOUND, this is an international group, offering aid and support to the most vulnerable
people: children and the aged. We support a Ugandan grandmother.
THE LITTLE LIGHTHOUSE, a local, faith based organization dedicated to the development of
preschool children with special needs. They receive no funding from federal, state or local
government sources, or the United Way.
PORTA CAELI HOUSE, Tulsa's Catholic hospice residential facility, open to anyone with a need
for end of life care.
NEIGHBOR FOR NEIGHBOR, another local group that is entirely supported through private
donations. Social Concerns has supported this organization for all the thirty years we have
been in existence.
