Stephen Ministers Five new Stephen Ministers will be consecrated this Sunday morning , February 23rd, in the 8:15 a.m. service. These five women: Carol Hunter, Molly Baldwin, Luanne Loudon, Linda Holmes, and Cindy Hughes have been meeting weekly since September for training. Starting in March, they will be able to be as-signed care receivers who are experiencing traumatic life experiences and need a listening ear and willing spiritu-al friend. Mardi Gras Gumbo Night All are invited to join us Tuesday, February 25th, (Fat Tuesday) at 5 p.m. in the Christian Life Center for Gumbo and King Cake. Men’s Summit Men of the Church are making their final plans for the 10th annual Men's Summit which is set for Thursday, February 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the CLC. Rex Nelson, one of the most high-profile writers and speakers in the state, will be the featured speaker. Bubba's Catfish will cater the dinner. UMW Mission Study Practicing Resurrection, Saturday February 29, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Christ of the Hills UMC with Facilitator Rev. Dr. Michelle Morris. Rev. Morris is working with churches on understanding intentional discipleship and putting a path in place for people to grow in their journey with Jesus.
