Introduction
The CD-ROM, contained with Directory of ICT Resources for Teaching and Learning of Science, Mathematics, and Language, provides a collection of ICT-based resources for classroom instruction.
The first edition of this CD-ROM was produced in 2005, and has provided many teachers with access to useful high-quality digital resources. By having easy access to these resources on a free CD-ROM, teachers have been able to save time in preparing lessons and improve their teaching. The CD-ROM has been especially valuable for teachers who don’t have fast Internet connections (or no Internet connection), and who have limited funds and lack the time to search for good, free teaching resources. The materials and lesson plans provided on the CD-ROM have been used by teachers worldwide, but are of particular relevance to the secondary school curricula of seven ASEAN countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam.
Compiled under the UNESCO ICT in Education programme, with support from Japanese Funds-in-Trust (JFIT), this 2008 edition of the CD-ROM contains updated versions of teaching materials and lesson plans, as well as new materials and resources.
These resources were collected by Dr. Philip Wong and his team at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. The CD-ROM was prepared under the guidance and coordination of the UNESCO ICT in Education team, including Feng-chun Miao, Tinsiri Siribodhi, Ellie Meleisea, and Tanaporn Perapate.

107 Geometry Application software
GeoGebra is dynamic mathematics software that joins geometry, algebra and calculus. It was developed for mathematics learning and teaching in schools by Markus Hohenwarter at Florida Atlantic University. On the one hand, GeoGebra is a dynamic geometry system. You can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections, as well as functions, and change them dynamically afterwards. On the other hand, equations and coordinates can be entered directly. Thus, GeoGebra has the ability to deal with variables for numbers, vectors, and points; finds derivatives and integrals of functions; and offers commands like Root or Extremum.
