You can set up an Office 365 group naming policy that
consists of two features:
Something to note: Teams can be created with the same
names, but the URLs in the background will append the
duplicate name with a number. More info here.
Azure AD Premium license are needed to create an apply
a naming convention policy on Office 365 groups.
Additionally, you can create Office 365 Group
classifications using Asure AD PowerShell. Once
configured, users will see the options to classify their team
when they create it (for example, Internal, Partner, Client,
etc.). More info here.

You can restrict Office 365 Group creation to the members
of a particular security group. Because this is done via
PowerShell, you need to have Azure Active Directory
Premium subscription.

You can manage the lifecycle of Office 365 groups by
setting expiration for any Office 365 groups that you select.
Once this set expiration is reached, owners of those
groups are asked to renew their groups if they still need
the groups. Any Office 365 group that is not renewed will
be deleted. Any Office 365 group that was deleted can be
restored within 30 days by the group owners or the
administrator.
To set an Office 365 group expiration duration you need
Azure AD Premium licenses.

There are four areas of authorization you can apply for
guests in Microsoft Teams:

There are three main policies you need to keep in mind:
1. Retention
2. eDiscovery
3. Archival
retained forever by default. Admins can configure retention
policies for preservation and deletion for Teams chat and
channel messages. Use OneDrive and SharePoint
retention for the files used in Teams.
eDiscovery: Be aware of the process of conducting an
eDiscovery investigation in Teams.

Teams Templates let admins quickly pre-define a team’s
channel, install apps, pin tabs, and more so you can focus
on collaboration rather than spend time setting up.
Templates can control the Team name, description,
public/private visibility settings, general team settings like
@ mentions and guest access, which channels are auto-
favorited, pinned tabs in channels, etc… Learn more here.

It's important to know how users are using Teams and
what their experience is with Teams. Usage reports can
help you better understand usage patterns, and along with
user feedback, give you insights to inform your wider
rollout and where to prioritize training and communication
efforts.
You can access Teams usage reports in the Office 365
Admin portal, or through the QuickHelp Admin Portal.
