The White-tailed Deer is named for its broad tail which is white on the underside.

They are the only animal that posses antlers.

HabitatDeers and herds usually live in the underwoods of the leafy trees (source of their food). They come out in edge at the time of the rut to join their " bellow area ". It's an usual area, they will go back there every year

Dangers

Deer have many natural and unnatural dangers that oppose to them. Most of these dangers are natural predators like mountain lion, panthers, and wolves. But the biggest threat to them is the automobile and being hunted by human.

October and lasts till December

*The y have a 7 month gestation period

*The fawn is hidden for several

weeks after birth

They usually have one to two fawns.
