Whatever the quantity-liquid chemicals and dyestuff are distributed reliably to the right destination. A state of the art PLC controls the process and monitors every single drop. It goes without saying, that due to the modularity the system can be easily adapted to chang-ing demands.
SUSTAINABLE
Short cycle times and high fl ow rates ensure a smooth processing in the dye house, saving time and money. In addition, with the “Easy Rinsing Design”, THEN proves that the sum of improvements effects directly the saving of resources. Electropolished surfaces, intelligent rinsing cycles and optimized fl ow directions result in a substantial reduction of rinsing water.
ACCURATE
Outstanding metering accuracy and reliability indepen-dent of the viscosity of the chemicals: Only the highest standards in terms of dosing technology can deliver a satisfying result for the THEN Colour Kitchen System. The Coriolis fl ow measuring principle provides all these advantages. Consequently, THEN systems are only equipped with this innovative technology.
CONTROLLED
The Automatic Dissolving Station knows all specifi c dyestuff properties. Accordingly, all the parameters in terms of dissolving and mixing are optimized. In addition, the process is enhanced due to the special designed THEN injector system. The result: short dissolving times and a high reproducibility.

THEN COLOUR KITCHEN
For all THEN Colour Kitchen modules high quality and long-term available components are employed. They are designed for long life, user-friendly and uncompli-cated maintenance.All components are fully integrated in the THEN TDS console and can be optionally combined with existing systems from other manufacturers.The SCALE weighing system, modular designed for multiple scales and sizes and equipped with a bar code scanner, affords a controlled computerized operation and is linked to the THEN TDS console.
The employment of networks allows the co-ordination of process phases and the optimum use of capacity. In addition, order management is linked with the machine controls in order to form a complete dyehouse network. The THEN network concept is open and fl exible. All THEN control and colour kitchen components operate using standard interfaces. This allows the integration of plant units from other manufacturers into THEN networks.

In order to achieve reliable dyeing quality and improved reproducibility, the THEN Colour Kitchen System sup-plies the dyeing machines with dyestuff, chemicals and auxiliaries, quickly and accurately metered. The closed pipe system between dispensing unit and machines reduces environmental impact to a minimum. Dissolving tank sizes, level of automation and metering destinations can be chosen freely due to the modular design.

The team plans the ideal solution on the basis of his requirements, the space available and the existing installations. Experienced engineers prepare the most economi-cally and ef cient layout for the production plant and draw up a comprehensive, phased installation plan. The calculation of the precise need for electricity,
water, steam and compressed air are just as much part of this plan as active environmental management, e.g. for heat recovery and wastewater. In a further step, dyeing engineers assist with the start-up of the applied technology. In teamwork with the factory’s specialists, the optimum process is developed with regard to safety, “right rst time”, ecological manage-ment and the shortest possible duration.
