First Reading Exodus 34:4-6.8-9 With the two tablets of stone in his hands, Moses went up the mountain of Sinai in the early morning as the Lord had

commanded him. And the Lord descended in the form of a cloud, and Moses stood with him there. He called on the name of the Lord. Psalm 27

I will seek your face O Lord (4)

Lord how awesome is your presence. Who can stand in your light?

Those who by your grace and mercy Are made holy in your sight.

I will dwell in your presence

All the days of my life; There to gaze upon your glory

And to worship only you Second Reading 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 Brothers, we wish you happiness; try to grow perfect; help one another. Profession of Faith (The Apostles Creed)

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;

he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead;

he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God

the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge

the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen

Liturgy of the Eucharist

Laudate 317

Father in my life I see You are God who walks with me You hold my life in your hands Close beside you I will stand

I give all my life to you Help me Father to be true

Jesus in my life I see… Spirit in my life I see….

Communion Hymn Laudate 720

1. Be still, for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One, is here;

come bow before Him now with reverence and fear: in Him no sin is found -

we stand on holy ground. Be still, for the presence of the Lord,

the Holy One, is here.

2.. Be still, for the glory of the Lord is shining all around.

He burns with holy fire, with splendour He is crowned:

how awesome is the sight - our radiant King of light!

Be still, for the glory of the Lord is shining all around.

Prayer for making a Spiritual Communion

My Jesus I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

A Prayer for you to say privately

Late have I loved you, O Beauty so ancient and so new; Late have I loved you.

For behold you were within me - and I outside; And I sought you outside, and in my ugliness fell upon

those lovely things that you have made. You were with me and I was not with you.

I was kept from you by those things, yet had they not been in you,

they would not have been at all. You called and cried to me

and broke open my deafness; And you sent forth your beams and shone upon me

And chased away my blindness: You breathed fragrance upon me,

and I drew in my breath and do now pant for you: I tasted you, and now hunger and thirst for you; You touched me, and I now burn for your peace.

Concluding Hymn Laudate 721

O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds thy hand has made,

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow’r throughout the universe displayed!

Then sings my soul my Saviour God, to thee;

How great thou art! How great thou art!

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing, Sent him to die I scarce can take it in

That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin!

When Christ shall, with shout of acclamation

And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart; When I shall bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim: my God, how great Thou art.
