DANIEL’S STORY  Freshman  Electrical Engineering  I will most likely get involved with robotics while at UF. I plan on going to graduate school and get my Masters  As a career I definitely want to get involved with the latest robots(not working in a cubicle making circuit boards)  This course definitely strengthened my love for robots and it showed me there is much trial and error and sometimes failure involved  For the future students of ECE 1935 I warn you not to get greedy when increasing your robot’s performance. If Paul says yours is the best so far stop there.

MERCILESS MURPHY “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong” Three 20 second runs in a row Not working 15 minutes later Never worked again Though there may be no evidence for us being number

one, in our hearts we are the victors.

DANIEL’S STORY Freshman Electrical Engineering I will most likely get involved with robotics while at UF. I plan on

going to graduate school and get my Masters As a career I definitely want to get involved with the latest

robots(not working in a cubicle making circuit boards) This course definitely strengthened my love for robots and it

showed me there is much trial and error and sometimes failure involved

For the future students of ECE 1935 I warn you not to get greedy when increasing your robot’s performance. If Paul says yours is the best so far stop there.

SCOTT’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY Freshman Before this semester I was an aerospace engineering

major, but after taking this course and doing other research I’ve changed my major to EE.

This course taught me a lot of cool things about everyday electronics and how they worked that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own.

My career goals are to get a job working with autonomous robotics.

My advice to the next batch of student in ECE 1935 is stop while your ahead.

MOHAMED’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY Freshman I came into UF as a mechanical engineer major. After taking kozinski

I regret to say that I have changed my major to Biomedical Engineering instead. More so I can get involved into the medical field

Taking this course I have learned that there is more to robots then just a remote control and batteries… A lot of hard work and time goes into making and programing robots, and the people who create them are hardworking and intelligent.

My career goals is to hopefully get into Med-School and pursue my goal of becoming a doctor.

Some advice for future ECE 1935 students is to make sure you have fun when taking this class, and if your robot works one time and fails ten times, well then your screwed and need to start working on how to suck up to the teacher in order to win the scholarship.

TOBOR’S LAST STAND After robbing a bank, Tobor hears police sirens and begins

to flee. Lost in confusion he doesn’t know where to turn where clearly the only place he can go is right. He finally makes the turn and speeds off to a whopping 160mph. Having gained too much speed he slams straight into a wall. The only life left in Tobor is the eerie yet somewhat rhythmic sound of his horn.

CONCLUSION The class was an overall good experience and helped us

get our toes wet into the massive ocean we call engineering. We will definitely be recommending this course to others.
