but can get messy.
• Organizations will need to prepare for this future of Internet of Everything today.

3. DATA SCIENTISTS HOLD THE KEY TO SUCCESS
• Data Science based used cases integrating Big Data & Analytics will be the cornerstone
foundation of every organization trying to transform themselves.
• Identifying new and relevant patterns from the multitude of data available from structured and
non structured sources will be key to competitive differentiation.
• Data Scientists will hold the master key to enable success. Data Scientists will be a rare

4. WEARABLES INTEGRATION• By 2018, we will see connected wearables to the tune of over 150M devices encompassing all
industries but heavily into – Infotainment, Retail, Healthcare & Industrial sectors.
• Every enterprise will be challenged to connect these wearables into their enterprise applications, systems and mobile sales force.
• Integrating wearables will be key to enhancing employee productivity, decrease corporate costs such as healthcare premiums and attract the new generation of workforce.
• Integration here will take the shape of extracting information from the wearables via embedded tracking and connecting to contact centers and enterprise systems which will aggregate data and information in order to enhance care and consumer interaction.

5. ANALYTICS PLATFORM
• Segmented & Isolated Analytics & Big Data projects will likely become the biggest source of
disappointment for the agile enterprise. The trend will be to move more to a platform based
approach.
• Owning a platform will be the key to gaining Control, obtaining Competitive Advantage and
ensure Differentiation for an enterprise.
• Enterprises will benefit well by incorporating sturdy proven platforms like GE & Atos/Siemens
which already have a number of reusable Use Case based solutions & services.

6. DIGITAL & ENTERPRISE SECURITY• Olympics had 20 Million viewers in 2012, with over 10 times that in attempts to hack the games in the
short 12-14 day period of the games. So for every organization protecting its brand and its enterprise is foremost in its mandate.
• Every Enterprise needs to revise its Enterprise & Cyber Security Strategy, pure Digital Security is a thing of the past, the strategy needs to be integrated with enterprise access and physical security.
• It will be imperative for organizations to look at Systems Integration firms for proven solutions. The key to success is to tie up with service providers who have real time capability of handling security in both the cyber and enterprise functions.
• Cyber Security function will see an increasing integration into Enterprise Security functions or under CSO’s function.

8. CHANGE MANAGEMENT• Social, Mobile, Analytics & Cloud has taken main stage to reinvent the enterprise to become Digital. From touch,
to gesture based computing, from online purchases to mobile payments, it has completely redefined the physical Brick & Mortar landscape that employees in an organization have been familiar with.
• With new service models embracing SaaS, PaaS & BPaaS, the focus of the organization in 2016, will be geared from the top level downwards to Change Management.
• Younger employees bring in versatility and ease of adapting to these newer technologies. However, this could also bring in culture clash with the senior employees. So its key to establish and embrace Reverse Mentoring via a buddy movement to ease the pain of transformation.
• Change Management will need to include constant communication on the changes, emphasize the new roles and responsibilities and ensure continuous senior leadership involvement.

9. PROOF OF VALUE WILL REPLACE POC’S
• On their Digital journey, enterprises will less and less seek ROI validation through proof of
concepts.
• Increasingly, they will look for Proof of Value to determine ROI’s and for construction of Use
Cases, business justification and the digital roadmap. This will be increasingly prevalent in the
areas of Big Data & Mobility.
• While undergoing Prrof of Value, customers will increasing look to see if technology is suitable,
if the data sets are relevant and whether the Use Case chosen will meet the expected
objectives.

10. TRANSFORMATION THRO OPTIMIZATION
• Enterprises need to transform digitally, but will be constrained with costs needed to embfrace
this change.
• One avenue that will be increasingly pushed will be relooking at all their spends on
Application Management (AM), taking costs out through service optimization and using this
savings to fund their Transformation and Digitalization projects.
• Automation & Robotics functions will be increasingly seen in such initiatives
• While doing this newer AM contracts will be more closely aligned to Business KPI’s rather then
SLA’s. This will bring in a new generation of Application Management tools and techniques.
